Robert Anthony Fields, 34, St. Augustine, died Aug. 29, 1997, at his home. Born in France, he had lived most of his life in the United State and he had lived in St. Augustine since 1979. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps, and he was employed with Lee's Automotive. He was of the Catholic faith.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anastasia Catholic Church, with the Rev. Joseph Zawada officiating. Paul Porter Sr.
Paul Clint Porter Sr., 84, St. Augustine, died Sept. 1, 1997, at the Ponce de Leon Care Center. He was born in Springfield, Ohio, and he had resided in St. Augustine since 1935. He was a retired aquarium technician for Marineland of Florida, and he was of the Baptist faith.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Ancient City Baptist Church, with the Rev. Frank Northcutt, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Augustine Memorial Park. Friends may call at Craig Funeral Home chapel from 5 to 8 p.m. today.

Bernice Finney
Bernice Keyton Finney, 74, Freeport, N.Y., died Aug. 30, 1997, in Freeport. She was born in Brunswick, Ga., and she was a former St. Augustine resident. She attended local schools and graduated from Excelsior High School and the Southern School of Practical Nursing. She was employed at the former East Coast Hospital here for many years, and she retired from Flagler Hospital in 1991, after 32 years of service.
She was a member of the King Street Church of Christ.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Church of Christ, Lewis Speedway. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call at Chase and Son Funeral Home chapel from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
Survivors include her children, Edward Keyton, Gloria K. Boothe, Kenneth Keyton, Brenda K. Pinkney, Bruce Williams, Eula W. Butler; a sister, Elizabeth Anthony, St. Augustine; 19 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and other relatives.
Georgette Gagne
Georgette D. Gagne, 63, died Aug. 31, 1997, at her home. She moved to St. Augustine from Miami, where she was employed as a manager for Walgreen's for 30 years. She was born in Biddeford, Maine.
Survivors include a brother-in-law, Renald Boisvert, St. Augustine; four brothers, Pete, John, Richard and Fred Gagne, Biddeford; and five sisters, Dot Desmarias, Lyman, Maine, Smokie Moore, Kennebunk, Maine, Claire Hamm, Grandbury, Texas, Priscilla Smith, Manton, Mich., Madeline Garcia, Cocoa.

Ralph Lund Jr.
Ralph F. Lund Jr., 70, St. Augustine, died Aug. 31, 1997, at St. Augustine Health Care and Rehabilitation. He was born in Hollis, N.H., and he had resided in St. Augustine for the past 10 years. He was retired from Lockheed Aviation, where he worked as an electrical engineer, and he was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served during World War II.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Russell Lund.
Survivors include his wife, Maureen Lund, St. Augustine; two sons, Wayne E. Lund, Vista, Calif., Michael C. Lund, Indian Harbor Beach; and one sister, Virginia Wilkins, Hollis.

Maude Brubaker
Maude A. Brubaker, 93, Cambridge, Md., formerly of Federal Point, died Sept. 1, 1997, at her Cambridge home. She was born in Federal Point and had resided in Cambridge with her daughter for the past three years, moving there from Federal Point. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, and she attended schools in Federal Point. She also attended the Teaching Academy in St. Augustine and taught school in a one-room school house in Florida for many years.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul's Cemetery, Federal Point, with the Rev. Edwin E. ``Ted'' Griswold officiating. There will be no calling hours.

She was the wife of the late Paul D. Brubaker; her parents were the late John V. and Rachel Rebecca Taylor Atkinson; and she was the mother of the late Linda Collins.

Joyce C. Cox, 81, St. Augustine, died Sept. 3, 1997, at her home. She was born in Mt. Sterling, Ky., and she had resided here since 1950. She was retired from Flagler Hospital, where she worked in the central supply room. After retiring from Flagler, she worked in the greeting card department of Wal-Mart for 12 years. She was of the Baptist faith.

Kathleen Theresa McDonald, 95, 100 Evergreen St., died Sept. 3, 1997, in a local care facility. She was a lifelong resident of St. Augustine, and she was a retired educator, having served in the St. Johns County School System for 48 years. Her last assignment was at Richard J. Murray High School. She was a member of St. Benedict the Moor Catholic Church.
Survivors include a sister, Sadie Sharpe, Daytona Beach; guardians, John and Lucille Elmore, St. Augustine; two grandchildren and other relatives.

Floyd Ramage Jr.
Floyd Clayton Ramage Jr., 51, St. Augustine, died Aug. 28, 1997, in Mississippi. A St. Augustine resident for 30 years, he was born in Mississippi.
Funeral services are being held in Mississippi, with burial there in the family plot.

Kathleen McDonald
Funeral services for Kathleen Theresa McDonald, 95, 100 Evergreen St., who died Sept. 3, 1997, at the Loving Care for the Living Facilities, will be announced.
Mrs. McDonald was a lifelong resident of St. Augustine, and she was a member of St. Benedict the Moor Catholic Church.
She earned her B.S. degree from Spellman College and a master of library science from Florida A&M University, and she did further studies on her Ph.D. at Clark University, Atlanta, Ga. She taught in both the Duval and St. Johns county schools for 48 years, and her last teaching assignment was with the Richard J. Murray (Bulldogs) High School.
She was the wife of the late Arthur R. McDonald.
Survivors include a sister, Sadie Sharpe, Daytona Beach; guardians, John and Lucille Elmore, St. Augustine; a daughter-in-law, Judy McDonald, Rhode Island; a host of grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

I. Michael "Butch" Gold, 55, died Sept. 4, 1997, at his Jacksonville home. He was born and reared in St. Augustine, and he was a graduate of Ketterlinus High School. He graduated from Georgia Tech University in 1963, and he served in the Air National Guard. He was employed by Lexmark International and IBM Corporation in Jacksonville for 35 years, and he was a member of Deercreek Country Club, the Jacksonville Quarterback Club and was a Fighting Gator.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 4115 Hendricks Ave., Jacksonville, with Rabbi Gary Perras and Mark Snitzer officiating. Burial will follow at Center Memorial Park, 43rd and Liberty, Jacksonville.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to Hospice Northeast, 4266 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, 32257; to River Garden Hebrew Home, 11401 Old St. Augustine Road, Jacksonville, 32258; or to a favorite charity.

R. Lynn Harris
R. Lynn Harris, 57, St. Augustine, died Sept. 4, 1997, at University Hospital, Jacksonville, from injuries sustained in a Sept. 4 automobile accident in St. Augustine. He was a lifelong resident of St. Augustine, and he was retired from the Florida East Coast Railway, after 27 years of service. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and he was a member of the Florida National Guard for many years. He was a member of San Sebastian Catholic Church, and he was also a member of the St. Augustine Boating Club and the St. Augustine Yacht Club.
Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at San Sebastian Catholic Church, with the Rev. Peter Colasurdo officiating.
A mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Sunday at San Sebastian Church, in his memory, in addition to the Tuesday memorial service.

James D. Roach, 56, of 14 Fullerwood Drive, St. Augustine, died Thursday, Sept. 4, 1997, at his home following a brief illness. He was born in Huntington, W.Va., and came to St. Augustine in 1978 from Columbus, Ohio. He was employed by the St. Augustine Sight Seeing Trains.
He is survived by his wife, Donna; one daughter, Terri Lynn Roach of Guhanna, Ohio; two sons, James L. Roach and Ronald A. Roach, both of Reynoldsville, Ohio; mother, Pearl E. Chapplear of New Straitsville, Ohio; two sisters, Christine Ann Alfman of New Straitsville and Carol Jean Marzano of Lancaster, Ohio; and one brother, John W. Chapplear of New Straitsville.

Jack O. DePriest, 60, St. Augustine, died Sept. 6, 1997, at his home, following a long illness. He was born in Evansville, Ind., and he had resided here and in Palatka since 1972. He was owner of a paint and auto body shop, and he was a retired truck driver.

Henry D. Lee, 78, St. Augustine, died Sept. 6, 1997, at Flagler Hospital West. He was born in Columbia, S.C., and he had resided here most of his life. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Coast Guard, and he was a retired diesel mechanic. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
