Virginia Dorothy Timmons, 63, 5837 Pine Creek Road, died April 4, 1997, at the Memorial Medical Center, Jacksonville. She was born in Kalamazoo, Mich., and she had resided here for six years. She was a member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Landmark Missionary Baptist Church, 7040 U.S. 1 North - the former White Castle Church - with Brother Thomas Lemley officiating. Burial will be in St. Augustine Memorial Park. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
Survivors include her husband, Minister Allen Timmons, pastor of Landmark; sons, Jeffrey Timmons, Scott Timmons, two grandchildren, all of St. Augustine; a brother, James Griffith, one sister, Evann Merriam, both of Michigan; and other relatives.

Tathy Tinney, 54, Green Cove Springs, died April 3, 1997, in the Columbia of Orange Park Hospital. He was born in Marion, S.C., and he had resided in Green Cove for 30 years. He was a member of Greater Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Green Cove.
Survivors include his wife, Jackie Tinney, Jacksonville; a daughter, Latasha Tinney, Jacksonville; his mother, Equilla Tinney, Green Cove Springs; brothers, Calvin and Anthony Tinney, Green Cove; sisters, Lela Baker, Mary Tinney, Jacksonville, Nettle Rowell, Ella Tinney, Green Cove, Naomi Fitch, Orange Park; a granddaughter and other relatives.

Fay Masters
Fay L. Masters, 89, Parrish, Fla., died April 4, 1997, at Riverfront Health Care Center, Bradenton. She was born in Fort Madison, Iowa, and she had resided in the Spuds area of St. Augustine for many years before moving to Parrish. She was a former bookkeeper for the Florida East Coast Railway.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Ambrose Catholic Church Cemetery, Elkton, with the Rev. Michael Baggett officiating.
Mrs. Masters was the wife of the late Earle E. Masters.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Patricia Masters Thomas and Major Thomas, Parrish; a sister, Robertus Carr, Sarasota; one brother-in-law, L.A. Masters, Spuds; two grandsons, Danny Delany, Spuds, Billy Thomas, Parrish; two stepgrandchildren, Gay Eiland, Leslee Mimbs; and several nieces and nephews.

John J. Alex Sr., 89, Alhambra Ave., died April 7, 1997, at his home. He moved here 18 years ago from Detroit, Mich., where he was born and reared. He was a self-employed tax consultant.
Survivors include his wife, Jane S. Alex, St. Augustine; a son, John J. Alex Jr., St. Augustine; two daughters, Barbara Porter, Wayne, Mich., Rose Senehi, Myrtle Beach, S.C.; and six grandchildren.

William Comstock
William Henry Comstock, 74, St. Augustine, died April 7, 1997, at the Ponce de Leon Health Care Center. He was born in Colfax, Ill., and he had resided in St. Augustine since 1981. He was a retired operating manager for General Electric Corporation, and he was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy. He was a volunteer at the St. Vincent de Paul Society, and he served as a lay minister at the Cathedral-Basilica. He was a life member of the First Florida Council of the Knights of Columbus, and he was a graduate of Notre Dame University.
Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, with the Rev. Robert Baker, pastor of Cathedral Parish, officiating. Anastacia D. Norris, 91, Port Orange, died April 6, 1997. She was born in Poland, and she had resided in Port Orange since 1971, moving there from East Palatka. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Federal Point.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. Paul's Episcopal Church Cemetery, Federal Point, with the Rev. Ted Griswold, pastor, officiating.

Alice Robinson
Alice Robinson, 91, 4974 Bradley St., died April 5, 1997, at Flagler Hospital East. She was born in Armstrong, and she was a lifelong resident of St. Augustine. She was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include a granddaughter, Ernestine Holmes Belcher, Armstrong; a great-grandson, Charles Hampton Jr., Armstrong; one brother, Ruben ``Doffie'' Myers, Ga.; a niece, five godchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

Ruby Daniels
Ruby M. Adams Daniels passed away Sunday, April 6, 1997, at Flagler Hospital West, after a brief illness. She had resided at Breeze of Matanzas for the past two years. She was born on Sept. 23, 1909, to George M. and Frances (Wilson) Ashton. She was a lifelong resident of St. Augustine. On Sept. 18, 1927, she married Ben W. Adams of Elberton, Ga. They were the parents of five children. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Audrey Jean and Anita Jean, in early childhood, and by her husband, Ben W. Adams, in 1964.
She later married Gideon B. Daniels, who died in 1993. Ruby was involved in community organizations in her younger years. She was active in the First United Methodist Church as a Sunday school teacher, circle leader and missionary worker. She was a member and active volunteer in the Flagler Hospital Auxiliary, a member of the St. Augustine Woman's Club, Amaryllis Garden Club, past worthy matron of the St. Augustine Eastern Star and a respected leader in the Seaside Rebekah Lodge.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the First United Methodist Church, with the Rev. S. Dwight McQueen, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call at Craig Funeral Home chapel from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.

She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her family was her greatest joy.
She is survived by two daughters, one son and the spouses: Connie and Herb Farver, Doris and Rusty Rinehardt, Ben and Sharon Adams; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Rosemary Atkinson, and many nieces and nephews.

Virginia ``Jinny'' King, 88, New Ellington, S.C., formerly of St. Augustine, died April 6, 1997, at her home. She was a former secretary to the president at the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind.
Funeral services and burial were held Tuesday in Ashland, Ky.
Survivors include two sisters, Margie Phillips, Elizabeth Kenter and one niece, Mrs. Jim Davis, all of Ashland.
Willa Herron
Willa G. Herron, 77, St. Augustine, died April 8, 1997, at Mariner Health Care. She was born in Charleston, W.Va., and she had resided here for the past 25 years. She was a retired dietitian, and she was a former member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She was of the Presbyterian faith.

Gregory Claude Reynolds, 14, died April 8, 1997, at his home, following a long illness. He is the son of Lauren R. Gibbons, Jacksonville, and of Claude Reynolds, and his wife, Shelley, of St. Augustine.
