Services and burial will be in Detroit, Mich.
She is survived by a sister, Irene Wells, Cordelene, Idaho.

Karen Louise Boyd, 42, precious mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend went home to be with Jesus Nov. 13, 1997, at Flagler Hospital West Campus. Born in Fort Riley, Kansas, she had resided in St. Augustine most of her life. She was a graduate of St. Augustine High School and an active member of Calvary Baptist Church, the church choir and orchestra, and the mission field for Christ.
Visitation will be held Sunday afternoon, 3-6 p.m., at Craig Funeral Home chapel. Funeral services will Monday at 10 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, with the Rev. J.O. McLeod officiating. Burial will follow services in St. Augustine Memorial Park. Flowers are gratefully accepted, or those wishing may make a contribution in her memory to the Calvary Baptist Church Music Program.
Karen leaves behind a loving family, daughter, Carla Boyd; son, Chad and his wife, Lisa; one granddaughter, Naomi Boyd; parents, Leroy and Freda Wall; four brothers and their wives, Gary and Paula, Larry and Carol, Kerry and Beth Wall, all of St. Augustine, and Barry and Allison Wall of Springfield, Mo.; grandmothers, Lucille Wall of St. Augustine and Thelma Smithee of Hoxie, Ark.; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Karen is absent from her body but present with her precious Lord.

Terri Marie Biros, 43, Ponte Vedra Beach, died Nov. 14, 1997, at Halifax Medical Center. She was born in Jacksonville and had lived in North Florida all of her life. She was a travel agent, having worked with Rainbow Travel for many years.

Kate Triay, 74, Branford, died Nov. 14, 1997, at Flagler Hospital East following a brief illness. A native of Cairo, Ga., she had lived in Stuart for 35 years before moving to Branford 19 years ago. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Branford.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 3 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Lake City with the Rev. Robert K. Davis and the Rev. Eddie Blalock officiating. She was born in St. Augustine and was a graduate of Bible Baptist School here. She had lived in Lancaster County for the past four years where she was a waitress. She was a member of the Science of Mind Thinking.
She is survived by her parents, Charles E. and Willie Lee Napier Watkins, St. Augustine; half-brothers, Daniel Martin, Tampa, Clay Martin, Realitos, Texas; and a half-sister, Martilla Martin, Carrollton, Ga.

Jacqueline "Jackie" F. Whitty, 31, 6 Lovett St., died Nov. 13, 1997, at the University Medical Center, Jacksonville. She was a lifelong resident of St. Augustine; and she was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. She attended St. Augustine High School.

Ed Edwards, 42, Phoenix, Ariz., died Nov. 10 at his home. Funeral services were held Friday in Phoenix.
Survivors include his wife, Fredda Thomas Edwards, two sons, Matthew and Jonathan, a daughter, Joy, his parents, Ed and Marilyn Edwards, all of Phoenix; and a brother, Steve.

Arthur Lee Freeman, 53, 3 Nesmith St., died Nov. 14, 1997, in St. Augustine, the result of injuries from an accident. He was born in Pelham, Ga., and he had resided here since early childhood. He was a graduate of Richard J. Murray High School, Class of 1964, and he attended Edward Waters College. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, having served with the U.S. Marine Corps, and he was a Disabled Vietnam Veteran. He was of the Baptist faith.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Shiloh Baptist Church, with the Rev. Randy Hezekiah, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. William Rowand Jr.
William "Al" A. Rowand Jr., 74, Deltona, died Nov. 14, 1997, at his home. He was born in Greenville, Miss., and he was a retired railroad engineer for CSX, having worked for 33 years. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy, and he was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church, Deltona, and also held membership in the VFW in DeBary and the Knights of Columbus of Deltona.
He was the husband of the late Frances Rowand.
Survivors include a son, Tim Rowand, Deltona; brothers, John L. Rowand, St. Augustine, James C. Rowand, Jacksonville; sisters, Margaret Johnson, St. Augustine, Mary Cunningham, Carolyn Fiddueia, both of Rockford, Ill.; and one grandchild.
