Elizabeth Anthony Anderson, 77, St. Augustine, died Dec. 26, 1997, at Flagler Hospital West.
She was a native of St. Augustine and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her husband, Nathaniel Anderson; and three daughters, Katherine Ethel Freeman, New York City, Joyce Boothe and Pamellia J. Anthony, both of St. Augustine.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Chase and Son Funeral Home.
Anthony Calloway
Anthony S. Calloway, 41, former resident of St. Augustine, died Dec. 23, 1997, in Silver Springs, Md. He was born in St. Augustine and later moved to Maryland. He was a retired U.S. postal employee.
Survivors include one brother, Kenneth Calloway, Bonifax, Fla.; and five sisters, Lydia White, St. Augustine, Angelia Reddick, Selma Franklin, Shelia Adams and Priscilla Evans, all of Daytona.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at the New St. James Baptist Church with the Rev. Nathaniel Jackson, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Augustine Memorial Park.

Funeral services for Janie Estelle Whaley, 87, St. Augustine, who died Dec. 22, 1997, at St. Luke's Hospital, Jacksonville, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Calvary Baptist Church. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call at Craig Funeral Home chapel from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
Anthony Calloway

Katherine Guden, 96, St. Augustine, died Dec. 27, 1997, at Flagler Hospital West. She was born in Geneva, N.Y. and had resided in St. Augustine for several years.
Private services are planned. Burial will be held at a later date in Michigan. Craig Funeral Home is in charge.
Spencer A. Johnson
Spencer A. Johnson, 90, St. Augustine, died Dec. 27, 1997, at the Grafton House. He was born in Chicago, Ill. and had resided in St. Augustine for several years. He was a retired power plant engineer.
Survivors include one daughter, Janet Carpenter, Naples, Fla.; two sons, John Johnson, Payson, Ariz., Robert Johnson, St. Augustine; and several grandchildren.
Private services are planned. Flagler Memorial Cremation Society is in charge.
Jane Kelby
Jane Frances Kelby, 72, St. Augustine, died Dec. 28, 1997, at her home. She was born in Easton, Pa. and had resided in St. Augustine since 1989. She was a retired paralegal, having worked for various attorneys from 1947 to 1989. She also ran a real estate business in Brunswick, Maine and was the first woman to start her own real estate company in Brunswick. She was a charter member of Still Coping and the St. Augustine Breast Cancer Support Group. She was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Albert J. Kelby, St. Augustine; two sons, James Barrie Kelby, Brunswick, Thomas Edward Kelby, Schenevus, N.Y.; one brother, Joseph P. Hixson, Bethlehem, Pa.; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph's New Cemetery in Easton, Pa. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Craig Funeral Home. Anne Maltby
Anne S. Maltby, 66, Palatka, died Dec. 28, 1997, at Columbia Putnam Medical Center after a short illness. The Richmond, Va. native had lived in Palatka for the past 12 years, coming from Bainbridge, Ga.
She was a member of the Ladies of the Moose Lodge No. 186 and the Ladies Auxiliary of V.F.W. Post No. 3349 in Palatka and was of the Presbyterian faith. She had worked for several years as a substitute teacher with the Putnam County School system and formerly worked in sales at Paddlewheel Boutique and Casual Corner at the Palatka Mall.
She was the wife of the late Lt. Col. Albert Earl Maltby Sr., USAF. Survivors include her fiance (since Dec. 24), Jack O'Grady, Palatka; two sons, Albert Earl Maltby Jr., Atlanta, Ga., Byron E. Maltby, Palatka; two daughters, Debbie Reynolds, Weatherford, Texas, Diane Maltby, Jacksboro, Texas; one brother, Henry S. Spooner, Bainbridge; mother-in-law, Mrs. Herbert E. Maltby, Hastings; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home in Palatka, with the Rev. Tommy Jervis officiating. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. James Martin Sr.
James Lawrence Martin Sr., 83, Williamsburg, Va., died Dec. 25, 1997, in St. Augustine. A native of Cape Cod, Mass., he was the son of the late John G. and Rosella Andrews Martin. He had retired in 1977 after 25 years of service as a supervisor at Camp Perry, Va. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mamie Umphlette Martin; two daughters, Toni Martin Mechling, St Augustine, Betsy Martin Nielsen, Williamsburg; one son, James Lawrence Martin Jr., Long Beach, N.C.; one half-brother, Joseph Sambade, Mass.; two grandchildren and seven step-grandchildren.

Alice E. Engles, 87, Okeechobee, died Dec. 16, 1997, at the Columbia Hospital, West Palm Beach.
She was born in Tangascootac, Pa. and came to St. Augustine in 1978 from Lock Haven, Pa. She moved to Okeechobee in 1991.
Survivors include five daughters, Debbie Simms, Virginia, Vivian Becker, St. Augustine, Virginia Baird, Williamsport, Pa., Arlene Stabley, Loxahatchee, Fla. and Bonnie Beck, Okeechobee.

Alma Rehling
Alma L.M. Rehling, 87, St. Augustine, died Dec. 29, 1997, at Flagler Hospital West.
Formerly of Albany, N.Y., she had been a resident of St. Augustine since 1991. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, David Rehling, St. Augustine, Lawrence Burtman, California; and one daughter, Patricia Horinka, New York.

James Sheehan
James Francis Sheehan, 71, Palatka, died Dec. 29, 1997, at Columbia Putnam Medical Center. He was born in Philadelphia, Pa. and had resided in St. Augustine since 1980 before recently moving to Palatka.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served in World War II. He was retired from retail sales, was of the Catholic faith and an active member of the Twelve Step Recovery Group in St. Augustine.

Alia Robin Williams, 19, Jacksonville, died Dec. 27, 1997. She was a native of Summertown, Ind. and a student at the University of North Florida.
