Vincent B. Boscia, 80, St. Augustine, died Jan. 22, 1998. He was born in Providence, R.I., and he moved to Florida in 1980. He was a former restaurant/nightclub owner, and he was a member of the Catholic Church. He was also a member of Elks and numerous golf clubs, and he was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy P. Boscia, a stepson, Bill Harris, both of St. Augustine; and a stepdaughter, Carol McConnell, S. China, Maine.
All Faiths Cremation Society, Lady Lake, is in charge.

David M. Raulerson, 57, St. Augustine, died Jan. 23, 1998, at Flagler Hospital West. A native of St. Augustine, he was the owner of Dave's Construction Co.

Francis Comrie
Francis Comrie, 86, St. Augustine, died Jan. 24, 1998, at St. Johns Health Care Center. He was born in Bronx, N.Y., and moved here in 1971 from Queens, N.Y. He was a member of the U.S. Navy during World War II, and he worked with the U.S. Postal Service for 25 years. He was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus #7121, Past Commander of American Legion Post A. Gordon Webster in Queens, American Legion Post #37 in St. Augustine, the Riverview Club, St. Augustine Shores Civic Association and the American Association of Retired Persons.
A memorial Mass will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m. at Corpus Christi Catholic Church with the Rev. William C. Mooney officiating. Flowers are gratefully declined. Those wishing may make a contribution in his memory to the Corpus Christi Church Building Fund.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth J. Comrie, St. Augustine.

Florence McQuaig Kling, 76, St. Augustine, died Jan. 24, 1998. A native and lifelong resident of St. Augustine, she was the wife of the late William Kling.

Cecil Walker
Cecil M. Walker Jr., 71, died Jan. 23, 1998, at his home in Jackson County, N.C. He was born in St. Augustine and was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil M. Walker Sr. He had lived in North Carolina since August 1997.
For nearly 40 years, he was employed by Marineland of Florida and was the marine attraction's vice president and assistant general manager from the late 1960s through the mid-1980s. He began his employment with Marineland in 1946 as a night watchman and held a number of management positions prior to his promotion to vice president. Following his retirement from Marineland, he joined the State of Florida's Division of Marine Resources in St. Petersburg and was responsible for the enforcement of the Marine Mammal Protection Act and Manatee Protection Program.
He was an elder in the St. Augustine Church of Christ and the Northside Church of Christ in St. Petersburg.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Ruth, a son, Charles, and his brother, Robert.
He is survived by one daughter, Kathleen Redman, Sylva, N.C., a son, Philip Walker, St. Augustine; two sisters, Nadine Alexander, Belmont, N.C., Delores Kroneman, Tacoma, Wash.; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held this afternoon at the Sylva, N.C., Church of Christ with Dr. Robert Rigdon officiating. A graveside service will be held Wednesday at Evergreen Cemetery in St. Augustine. Those wishing may make contributions in his memory to the Mount Dora Children's Home, 13th and McDonald Street, Mount Dora, Fla. 32757.

Winnifred Cassell
Winnifred J. Cassell, 71, Satsuma, died Jan. 23, 1998, in Satsuma, following a lengthy illness. She was born in St. Augustine, and she moved to Satsuma 13 years ago from St. Augustine. She was a former trouble shooter in the garment industry, and she was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Green Cove Springs.
No services are planned. Burial will be in Moultrie Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Billy N. Cassell, Satsuma; a cousin, Patricia McNeil, St. Augustine; two nephews and one niece.

Gene A. Saylor, 56, Hastings, died Jan. 26, 1998, at his home, following a brief illness. He was born in Molus, Ky., and he had resided in Hastings for the past 27 years, moving there from Paris, Tenn. He attended the former Hastings Holiness Church, now the Praise Tabernacle Assembly of God Church, Hastings.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Allie Saylor.

Frances Marcella "Marty" Van Allen, 76, Treasure Beach, died Jan. 25, 1998, in Gahanna, Ohio. She was born in Columbus, Ohio, and she had resided here since 1977. She was a factory worker for VAW, and she was of the Catholic faith.
