Pearl Irene Oliver, 85, of St. Augustine, died Friday at her home. She was born in Shady Grove and had lived in St. Augustine since 1946. Funeral services will be private.
She is survived by her husband, Edward Oliver, St. Augustine; one daughter, Judith Martin, St. Augustine; one sister, Jessie Burnett, Greenville; and two grandchildren.

Coletta "Pinky" McKinley, 75, of St. Augustine, died Feb. 27, 1998, at Flagler Hospital East. She was born in Vernon, Pa., and had lived in St. Augustine for the past 40 years. She had worked at Sears and Roebuck for some years and for Dobb's Book Bindery for over 20 years.

Martha Eulee Horton, 87, Palatka, died Feb. 28, 1998, at the Palatka Health Care Center, following a lengthy illness. She was born in Perry, and she had resided in Palatka for the past 70 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Palatka, where she was a member of the Fidelas Sunday School Class. She was formerly active in Calvary Baptist Church in Sunnihites, where she was a charter member.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Masters Funeral Home, Palatka, with Pastor Jerry Lamb and Pastor Charlie Rabun officiating. Burial will be in Palatka Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the Masters chapel from 6 to 8 p.m. today.

Audrey Lorraine Dealaman, 72, St. Augustine, died March 5, 1998, at her home. She was born in Plainfield, N.J., and she had resided here since 1987. She had worked as a deputy borough clerk for the Borough Watchung, N.J., for over 10 years, and she was a member of Memorial Presbyterian Church.

Lillian R. Carroll
Lillian R. Carroll, 85, died Feb. 27, 1998, at Torrey Pines Convalescent Hospital, LaJolla, Calif. She was born in Nashua, N.H., and formerly lived in St. Augustine.
She was a graduate of Nashua High School and the National Park College, Washington, D.C. She received her registered nursing certification from Massachusetts General Hospital in 1935. She was a surgical and staff nurse at Baker Memorial Hospital, Boston, 1935-38.
She earned both a bachelor's of science degree in health education and a master's in health education from Boston University in 1965. She also received both a master's degree in education in 1975 and a master's in special education from Florida State University in 1977.
She was the first of 12 registered nurses to become American Airlines stewardesses in 1938. She spent the next 30 years in aviation, having also been the airline's director and supervisor of stewardesses.
She was co-founder and instructor of the cooperative vocational guidance course at the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind, 1968-1980.
A memorial service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery at 1 p.m. Monday.
She is survived by a sister, Hannah F. Sullivan, Agawan, Mass.; a brother, Robert B. Fletcher, Pelham, N.H.; and several nieces and nephews.

Priscilla D. Becker, St. Augustine, died March 9, 1998, at Mariner Health Care. She was born in Omaha, Neb., and she had resided here since 1976. She was a retired librarian for the public library systems, and she was a former teacher. She was a member of Cathedral Parish.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Cathedral-Basilica of St. Augustine. Burial will be in St. Augustine Memorial Park. Prayers will be said at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Cathedral. Friends may call at the Cathedral from 5 to 8 p.m.
