Phoebe Rogers, 96, St. Augustine, died March 29, 1998, at her home. She was born in Skelton in Cleveland, Yorkshire, England, and she had resided here since 1979, moving to St. Augustine from Fort Lauderdale. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Parish, and she was a volunteer at Flagler Hospital. She was a member of Trinity's St. Elizabeth Guild, and she was active in the choir at the church.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Friday at Trinity Episcopal Church. Burial will be at a later date at the Shady Lane Cemetery.
Flowers are gratefully declined, and those wishing may make a contribution, in her memory, to Trinity Episcopal Church, 215 St. George St., St. Augustine, 32084; or to Hospice, 1400 Old Dixie Hwy., Suite A, St. Augustine, 32086.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leland Curtis Rogers Sr., and one son, Richard W. Maddock.
Survivors include two daughters, Jean Rogers, Juanita Lytton, both of St. Augustine; one son, Leland Curtis Rogers Jr., Hixson, Tenn.; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Myrtle Sherman
Funeral services for Myrtle Sherman, 96, Elkton, who died March 21, 1998, in Flagler Hospital West, following a long illness, were to be held at 4 p.m. today at First Baptist Church, St. Augustine, with the Rev. David Eleby officiating. Burial was to follow in Armstrong Cemetery. Calling hours were to be from 3 p.m. today at the church.
Coleman's Mortuary, Hastings, was in charge.

Geneva Lang, 81, 190 Knowlton St., died March 29, 1998, at her home. Arrangements will be announced by Chase and Son Funeral Home.

Dorothy Vaughn
Dorothy Rogero Vaughn, St. Augustine, died March 31, 1998, at the St. Johns Health Care Center. She was a lifelong resident of St. Augustine. Of Minorcan heritage, she was descended from the Frank Rogero and Michael Andreu families. She was a member of Cathedral Parish, and she was a 1928 graduate of St. Joseph Academy.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Craig Funeral Home chapel, with the Rev. Jeremiah Lambe, associate pastor of Cathedral Parish, officiating. Burial will be in San Lorenzo Cemetery. Friends may call at Craig chapel from 5 to 8 p.m. today. Prayers will be said at 7 p.m. today at the chapel.
Flowers are gratefully accepted, or those wishing may make a contribution, in her memory, to Hospice Northeast, 1400 Old Dixie Hwy., Suite A, St. Augustine, 32086.
Mrs. Rogero was the wife of the late Hugh Vaughn and the sister of the late F.D. Rogero.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. John (Melinda) Ausley, Hastings; and three grandchildren, Anissa Ausley, Jacksonville, Mrs. Frank (Marla) Geib, St. Augustine, and Kenneth Ausley, Hastings.

Hope Hansen
Memorial services for Hope Hallquist Hansen, 71, St. Augustine, who died March 30, 1998, at her home, will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Church of God, 57 Anderson St., with Brother John Tanner officiating.

Alvin Brasile
Alvin Brasile, 78, St. Augustine Beach, died March 31, 1998, at his home. He was born in Minersville, Pa. He was a retired CPA, and he was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during World War II.
Survivors include one sister, Clara Novitsky, Drexel Hill, Pa.
Private services are planned. Craig Funeral Home is in charge.

Florence Richbourg
Florence May Richbourg, 80, St. Augustine, died April 1, 1998, at Flagler Hospital East. She was born in Honeybrook, Pa., and she had resided here since 1920. She was 50-year member of the St. Augustine Chapter No. 12, OES; she was a 1934 graduate of Ketterlinus High School, and she was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.
A gathering, in her memory, will be held from 5-7 p.m. Monday at Craig Funeral Home.
Flowers are gratefully declined, and those wishing may make a contribution, in her memory, to a favorite charity.
Survivors include two sons, William F. and Leland M. Richbourg, both of St. Augustine.

Geneva Abel Lang, 81, 190 Knowleton St., died March 29, 1998, at her home. She was born in Bamberg, S.C., and she had resided here since early childhood. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, serving on Usher Board No. 1 and as a communion steward.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Trinity United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Kevin L. Wilson, pastor, officiating, and the Rev. Robert L. Holtz Sr. as eulogist.
Friends may call at Chase and Son Funeral Home chapel from 5:30-9 p.m. today, and at the church from 1 p.m. Saturday until the hour of services.
Mrs. Lang was the wife of the late Colton Lang.
Survivors include a son, Terrell O. Lang Sr., Los Angeles, Calif.; a sister, Viola Swain, St. Augustine; 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren, four great-great-great-grandchildren; and other relatives.

Geneva Lang

Marge Reardon
Marge Reardon died March 12, 1998, in Houston, Texas. She was a former St. Augustine resident.
Funeral services were held March 16 with the George Lewis and Son Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include her husband, Texas "Tex" Reardon Jr.; three sons, Tex III, Ted and Tony Reardon, a daughter, Tracy Reardon; and her mother, Mrs. Lewis.

Joann Tattenbaum
Joann Tattenbaum, 72, St. Augustine, died April 3, 1998, at Flagler Hospital East. She was born in Oneida, N.Y., and she had resided in St. Augustine since 1986. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church.
She was the wife of the late Harry Tattenbaum.
Survivors include one daughter, Debra Painter, St. Augustine; two sons, William J. Tattenbaum, St. Augustine, Keith G. Wilson, Jacksonville; two sisters, Beverly Ferritto, Niagara Falls, N.Y, Betty Dewey, Massachusetts; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Arrangements will be announced by Craig Funeral Home.

Ed Thigpen
Newton Edward (Ed) Thigpen, 83, Hastings, died April 3, 1998, at his home. He was born in Hastings and resided there most of his life. He was a retired farmer, and he was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Army Air Corps. He was a former member of the Masonic Lodge, 32nd degree, Shriners and a member of the First Baptist Church of Hastings.
Memorial services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Watts Funeral Home, San Mateo, with the Rev. Charles Johnson and the Rev. James Lewis offering prayer.
