Thomas Snyder
Thomas R. Snyder, 70, St. Augustine, died July 12, 1998, at Flagler Hospital. He was born in Pittsburgh, Pa., and he came to St. Augustine 10 years ago from Glen Rock, Pa. He was retired owner of Snyder Electronics, Havertown and Media, Pa., and he was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Chester, Pa., St. Augustine Amateur Radio Society and a former member of the IBM Users Group.
Memorial services will be held at 7:30 p.m. today at Memorial Lutheran Church, with Dr. Kerry G. Hinkley, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Jacobs Church Cemetery, Glenville, Pa.
Flowers are gratefully declined, and those wishing may make a contribution, in his memory, to Hospice, 1400 Old Dixie Hwy., Suite A, St. Augustine, 32086.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris.
Survivors include his companion, Linda Hubbard, St. Augustine; two daughters, Kathy Schmied, Sewell, N.J., Patricia Aungst, Peach Tree City, Ga.; two sons, Michael, Fruit Cove, Thomas, Drexel Hill, Pa.; one sister, Barbara Rogers, St. Augustine; and six grandchildren.

Willie Elmore Jr.
Funeral services for Willie James Elmore Jr., 50, 129 S. Woodlawn St., who died July 14, 1998, at Flagler Hospital East, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Baptist Church, with the Rev. Sidney Hardy, pastor of Bethel Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in St. Augustine Memorial Park.
Friends may call at Chase and Son Funeral Home chapel from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday and at the church from noon Saturday until the hour of services.

Eunice Jones
Eunice R. Jones, 88, St. Augustine, died July 15, 1998, at St. Johns Health Care Center. She was born in Dayton, Ind., and she had resided in Indianapolis until 1952, when she moved to Miami. She moved to St. Augustine in 1979. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Craig Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Tom Adams, pastor of the First Church of the Nazarene, officiating. Burial will be in St. Augustine Memorial Park. Friends may call at the Craig chapel from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday.
Mrs. Jones was the wife of the late Samuel Ebert Jones, and she was the mother of the late John Jones.
Survivors include three daughters, Jacqueline J. Smith, Bonnie L. Ramsey, both of St. Augustine, Susan Jones-Fenney, Monrovia, Calif.; two sons, Samuel E. Jones, Canada, William E. Jones, Fort Myers; a sister, Eleanor Alyea, Hammond, Ind.; 24 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Gertrude Mosley
Funeral services for Gertrude King Mosley, 71, 1004 Puryear St., Collier Heights, who died July 11, 1998, at Flagler Hospital West, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Antioch Baptist Church, with Elder E.A. Kelley Jr., officiating. Friends may call at Chase and Son Funeral Home from 5 to 9 p.m. today and at the church from noon Friday until the hour of services.

Hobart Tillson
Hobart Warren Tillson, 73, St. Augustine, died July 14, 1998, at Flagler Hospital East. He was born in Oneida, N.Y., and he had resided in St. Augustine for the past seven years. He retired from GMAC as a branch manager having served 37 years. He was in the 10th Mountain Division during World War II.
Memorial services were held at 9 a.m. today at St. Anastasia Catholic Church, with the Rev. Seamus O'Flynn, pastor, officiating.
Flowers are gratefully declined. Those wishing may make a contribution, in his memory, to the St. Anastasia Building Fund, 5205 A1A S., St. Augustine, 32084.
Survivors include his wife, Celestine; a daughter, Cynthia Tillson Carey; two sons, Mark K. and Matthew W. Tillson; one sister, Arlene Burns; and seven grandchildren.

Virginia Cummings
Memorial services for Virginia Lora Cummings, 87, Wesley Woods, longtime St. Johns County educator, who died July 16, 1998, at Wesley Woods, will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday at Craig Funeral Home chapel.

Barbara Kelly
Barbara Lee Kelly, 65, St. Augustine, died July 17, 1998, at Flagler Hospital East. She was born in Flint, Mich., and she was a former resident of Bunnell. She moved to St. Augustine in 1963. She was a graduate of Bunnell High School, and she was a retired officer manager for the Florida Department of Transportation. She was a member of the International Order of Eagles in Salt Springs.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Craig Funeral Home chapel, with the Rev. Lucy Norton officiating. Burial will be in St. Augustine Memorial Park. Friends may call at Craig chapel from 5 to 8 p.m Monday.

Florence Larsen
Florence C. Larsen, 61, Satsuma, died July 16, 1998, at Putnam Community Medical Center, Palatka. She was born in Staten Island, N.Y., and she had resided in Satsuma for eight years. She was employed as a waitress at the Waffle House, St. Augustine, I-95 and SR 16.
Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Sunday at Watts Funeral Home, San Mateo. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11:30 a.m., Sunday, until the hour of services.
Survivors include one daughter, Sandy Penny, and a granddaughter, Breanna Penny, both of Satsuma.

Virginia Cummings
Memorial services for Virginia Lora Cummings, 87, Wesley Woods, longtime St. Johns County educator, who died July 16, 1998, at Wesley Woods, will be held at 7 p.m. today at Craig Funeral Home chapel.

Mary Inez Griffiths
Mary Inez Griffiths, 91, St. Augustine, died July 18, 1998, at Ponce de Leon Care Center. She was a native and lifelong resident of St. Augustine and attended Ancient City Baptist Church.
Private services are planned.
She is survived by a sister, Erma Lee Hartley, St. Augustine; a stepson, Arthur Griffiths, Jacksonville; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Craig Funeral Home is in charge.

Michael McCracken
Michael H. (Mike) McCracken, 75, Savannah, Ga., died July 9, 1998, at his home. He was born in Pleasantville, N.J., and he had resided in Savannah since 1966. He was retired from Friedman's Art Store, after 26 years, and he was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. He was a member of the Civilian Conservation Corps, the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II, and he was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans.
Memorial services were held July 15 in Savannah at the First Presbyterian Church. Those wishing may make a donation, in his memory, to the First Presbyterian Church, 520 Washington Ave., Savannah, Ga. 31405.
Survivors include his wife, Anna J. Bunton-McCracken, Savannah; a daughter. M. Michele Dunham, St. Augustine; one son, George E. McCracken, Beacon, N.Y.; a stepdaughter, Penelope Lowery, Savannah; two stepsons, Alonzo Bunton II, William Bunton, both of Savannah; four grandchildren, one great-grandchild and other relatives.
Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Savannah, were in charge.

Rex A. Morgan
Rex A. Morgan, 72, died July 17, 1998, at his home in St. Augustine. He was a native of Allerton, Iowa, and moved to Chicago in 1940. He joined the U.S. Navy in 1944 and served with the amphibious forces in the South Pacific during World War II. He worked for the natural gas industry as an energy analyst for natural gas air-conditioning and on-site power plants in North Miami and in Orlando as a staff engineer. Later he was director of marketing for Florida Gas in Jacksonville. He retired from Rheem Manufacturing in 1984.
He moved to St. Augustine in 1984 and was a member of VFW Post 2391.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Craig Funeral Home with his son, Rex Morgan of the Church of Christ in Hialeah, officiating. Burial will be in St. Augustine Memorial Park. Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Craig Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife, Vi, St. Augustine; two daughters, Cynthia Gavin, St. Petersburg, and Jill Falco, Dunedin,; two sons, Richard, Raleigh, N.C., and Rex, Cooper City, Fla.; a sister, Margaret Keslinke, Worth, Ill.; nine grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

Lillian Ellsworth
Lillian Ellsworth, 96, formerly of 172 M.L. King Ave., died July 21, 1998, at the Samantha Wilson Care Center. Arrangements will be announced by Chase and Son Funeral Home.

Benjamin Morris Sr.
Funeral services for Benjamin Morris Sr., 71, Gray, Ga., who died July 17, 1998, at his home, will be held at noon Friday at St. Paul AME Church, with the Rev. F.D. Richardson Jr., pastor, officiating. Friends may call at Chase and Son Funeral Home chapel from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday, and at the church from 11 a.m. Friday until the hour of services.

Mary Webb
Memorial services for Mary Stella Carr Webb, 83, St. Augustine, who died July 15, 1998, in Flagler Hospital East, will be held at 7 p.m. today at Bethany Baptist Church, County Road 208.

Ruby Crickmore
Memorial services for Ruby Tucker Crickmore, 82, will be held at 7 p.m. today at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 735 Kings Estate Road, with Don Belloit officiating.
The family requests donations to Daytona Beach Assembly Hall, POB 9357, Daytona Beach, 32120.

Estelle Cromer
Estelle C. Cromer, 86, Crescent Beach, died July 23, 1998, in Jacksonville. Born in Birmingham, Ala., she was a retired employee of E.I. DuPont and was a member of St. Anastasia Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle L. Cromer Sr.
Funeral services will be today at 10 a.m. at St. Anastasia Catholic Church with the Rev. Seamus O'Flynn officiating. Burial will follow in San Lorenzo Cemetery.
She is survived by her son, Doyle L. Cromer Jr., Jacksonville; a daughter, Mary Catherine Sandlin, Weir, Texas; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Hardage-Giddens Mandarin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Miriam Peryam
Miriam Peryam, 88, of St. Augustine died July 24, 1998, at her home. She was born in Chicago, Ill., and had resided throughout Florida for the past eight years, the last two in St. Augustine.
She was a retired rancher and had owned her own store at one time. She was affiliated with the Christian Science Church.
Private services are planned. Flowers are gratefully declined. Those wishing may make a contribution in her memory to the Audubon Society.
Survivors include three daughters, Linda Lee Bryant, Denver, Colo., Janice Maye Turner and V. Sue Gilfillan, both of St. Augustine; one brother, Elliot Schryver, Carmel, NY; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
