Johnetta Peeples
Johnetta S. Peeples, 17, Hastings, died from injuries sustained in a car accident in St. Augustine on Aug. 15, 1998. She was born in St. Augustine, and she attended Gamble Rogers Middle School, where she was a member of the band. She was a senior at St. Augustine High School and a member of the ROTC program. She was a first vice president of the Young People's Division, and she was a Sunday School student and member of the Youth Choir.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mt. Zion African Methodist Episcopal Church, with the Rev. S.P. Bradley, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow at Armstrong Cemetery, Armstrong. Friends may call at Coleman's Mortuary Chapel, Hastings, from 6-9:30 p.m. today and at the church from 10 a.m. Saturday until the hour of services.
Survivors include her parents, John and Leria Peeples; grandmothers, Clara Sanders, Hastings, and Annie Peeples, Armstrong; a brother, William C. Peeples; a sister, Shantrea Peeples; a foster sister, Latoya Daniels; a foster brother, Jontae Merritt, all from Hastings.

Paul Misselwitz
A memorial Mass for Paul L. Misselwitz, St. Augustine, who died Aug. 17, 1998, at his residence, will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, with Father William C. Mooney and Father Patrick Carroll officiating. Croyle Funeral Home is in charge.

Debra Ray
Debra Kay Ray, 32, St. Augustine, died Aug. 18, 1998, in Pageland, S.C., from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born in Dunoon, Scotland.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Craig Funeral Home chapel. Burial will be in St. Augustine Memorial Park. Friends may call at Craig from 9 a.m. until the hour of services Monday. Flowers are gratefully declined; those wishing may make a contribution in her memory to the Debra Kay Ray Memorial Fund, c/o Steven Ray, 2811 Pellicer Road, St. Augustine, 32092.
Survivors include her husband, Steven Ray; one daughter, Jennifer Ray, Athens, Greece; one son, Brandon Arnold Hagan, Thomasville, Ga.; her father and stepmother, John and Rae Roberts, St. Augustine; her mother, Beatrice Ortega, Dundee, Scotland; one sister, Karen Tucker, Wingat, N.C.

Junior Saunders
Junior Bradford Saunders, 69, St. Augustine, died Aug. 20, 1998, at his home. He was born in Ripley, W.Va., and moved to St. Augustine in 1990 from Citrus County. He was a retired coal miner. He was of the Baptist faith.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Ancient City Baptist Church, with the Rev. Kelly Kemp, chaplain for St. Johns County Sheriff's Office, officiating.
Survivors include his wife, Lenora; two sons, Steven B. and Michael W. Saunders, both of St. Augustine; his mother, Marie Saunders, Sissonville, W.Va.; one sister, Flossie Monk, Sissonville; and six grandchildren.

Graylanie Willmon
Graylanie L. Willmon, 28, Hastings, died from injuries sustained in a car accident in St. Augustine on Aug. 15, 1998. He was born in Melbourne. He enjoyed playing basketball and helping children.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Lord's Temple Church, Hastings, with the Rev. Jimmie Lewis, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow at Masonic Cemetery, Hastings. Friends may call at Coleman's Mortuary chapel, Hastings, from 6-9:30 p.m. today.
He is predeceased by one brother, Izell (Theador) Willmon.
Survivors include his parents, Robert Wesley and Janet Williams; grandmother, Verdell Holmes; brothers, Richard Willmon, Atlanta, Ga., Robert Wesley and Reginald Wesley, Fort Lauderdale, Theo Willmon and Phillip F. Fuller, Melbourne; two sisters, Elizabeth Stanley, Hastings, and Bertha M. Wesley, Philadelphia, Pa.

Gene Mullins
Gene Mullins, 66, Ashfork, Ariz., passed away from cancer Aug. 9, 1998, at Flagstaff Medical Center in Flagstaff, Ariz. A cremation followed. He was a resident of St. Augustine for 12 years until he moved to Arizona in the summer of l996.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Susan Mullins, Ashfork; stepdaughter, Mitzi Heinrich, St. Augustine; sons, Bruce Mullins, Florida, Branch Mullins, Virginia; a brother, Glen Mullins, Virginia; a half-sister, Lorraine Wallace, Virginia; and several grandchildren. A wake will be held in Arizona soon, and one in Florida in the beginning of January 1999. Contact Mitzi at 829-3720 after Jan. 1 for details.

Rev. R.E. Brown
Funeral services for the Rev. Raymond E. Brown, 70, an influential Roman Catholic biblical scholar, who died Aug. 8, 1998, in Redwood City, Calif., will be held Monday in Catonsville, Md. Ordained a priest in the Diocese of St. Augustine, in 1953, Brown served as an adviser to St. Augustine's Archbishop Joseph P. Hurley at the Second Vatican Council in 1963.
Bishop John J. Snyder, bishop of the Diocese of St. Augustine, is to represent the diocese at Monday's funeral.

Daisy Moore
Funeral services for Daisy Moore, 91, Green Cove Springs, who died Aug. 8, 1998, at Orange Park Medical Center, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, with the Rev. Robert Wright, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Green Cove Springs. Friends may call at the church from 5 to 7 p.m., today, and from noon Saturday until the hour of services.
Chase and Son Funeral Home is in charge.

Ruth Ramsey
Funeral services for Ruth Pritchard Ramsey, 94, St. Augustine, who died Aug. 12, 1998, at St. Augustine Health Care Center, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Craig Funeral Home chapel, with the Rev. Dr. John Hunter, pastor of Memorial Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Westview Cemetery, Palatka. Friends may call at Craig chapel from 9 a.m. Saturday until the hour of services.

Edward L. Williams
Funeral services for Edwards L. ``E.L.'' Williams, 65, West Orange Street, who died Aug. 6, 1998, at the Samantha Wilson Health Care Center, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Chase and Son Funeral Home chapel, with Elder Early Brown officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at Chase chapel from 5 to 9 p.m. today.

Sanjena Carter
Sanjena Carter, 16, died suddenly after an automobile accident on Aug. 15, 1998.

Dorothy Lentz
Memorial services for Dorothy Sayre Lentz, St. Augustine, who died Aug. 10, 1998, at the Earl B. Hadlow Center for Caring, will be held at 7 p.m. today at Trinity Chapel Ministries, U.S. 1 South.

Donald Pacetti
Donald Eugene Pacetti, 57, a native of St. Augustine, died Aug. 16, 1998, at his home in Fort Meade, Fla. He was of the Catholic faith. He was a member of Tuscan Lodge No. 6, Grand Cross; the International Order of Rainbow for girls; Bartow Masonic Lodge, Bartow, Fla.; and member and Past Patron of Eastern Star No. 74.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Hancock & McClellan Funeral Home chapel in Fort Meade. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Fort Meade. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday.
He was predeceased by one sister, Faye Shugart.
Survivors include his wife, Carol; two sons, Timmothy Wayne Pacetti and Michael Linn Pacetti, all of Fort Meade; two daughters, Suzan Marie Johnson, Willow Oak, Fla., and Teresa Marie Pacetti, Fort Meade; his mother, Jessie M. Pacetti, St. Augustine; one sister, Linda Butler, St. Augustine; and four grandchildren.

Edward Powell
Edward D. Powell, 71, St. Augustine, died Aug. 17, 1998, at the Earl B. Hadlow Center in Jacksonville. He was born in Middleboro, Mass., and had resided in St. Augustine since 1969. He was an attorney, and he also owned a photography business. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served during World War II. He was past president of the Islamorada Chamber of Commerce and was a member of Christ Episcopal Church.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Evergreen Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully accepted or those wishing may make a contribution in his memory to Hospice Northeast, Earl B. Hadlow Center, 4266 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, Fla. 32257.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy, St. Augustine; two daughters, Karen Petry, Diane Harnisch, both of Jacksonville; two sons, Douglas Powell, Jacksonville, Norman Powell, St. Petersburg; three sisters, Doris Horton, Lakeville, Mass., Phyllis MacMillan, Cincinnati, Ohio, Ann Weaver, Agawam Beach, Wareham, Mass.; 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Charles Evans
Charles R. ``Bud'' Evans, 61, St. Augustine, died July 30, 1998, at Flagler Hospital East after a lengthy illness. He was born in Baltimore, Md., and had resided here for 30 years. He was a drywall finisher for 42 years and master of many lost techniques of that trade.
Aaron Cremation Services handled the arrangements. No formal services are planned and flowers are gratefully declined. A wake will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 22, at 8 Daniel St., St. Augustine. Friends are invited.
He is survived by his loving companion of 21 years, Darlene Leth, St. Augustine; four daughters, Kimberly Ann, Sandra Lynn, Barbara Jo and Juanita Bathsheba; two sons, Kevin and Charles Harley Evans, all of Virginia and Maryland.

Thomas Hynes
Thomas Leo Hynes, 79, St. Augustine, died Aug. 15, 1998, at Breezes of Matanzas. He was born in Baltimore, Md., and had resided in St. Augustine for the past 20 years. He was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, and he was a member of the Cathedral Parish. He was a retired social worker for the Baltimore City School System.
He was preceded in death by his son Patrick Hynes.
Survivors include three daughters, Mary McLarney, Bel Air, Md., Margaret Quinn, Sparks, Md., and Dorothy Hynes, Baltimore; four sisters, Grace Shields, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, Ora Addison and Elizabeth Sanders, both of St. Augustine, and Sister Paul Marie Hynes, S.S.N.D., Baltimore; one brother, the Rev. Gerald Hynes, C.P., Baltimore; and four grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make a donation in Mr. Hynes' name to the Hospice Northeast, 1400 Old Dixie Hwy., St. Augustine, Fla. 32086.

Dorothy Lentz
Memorial services for Dorothy Sayre Lentz, St. Augustine, who died Aug. 10, 1998, at the Earl B. Hadlow Center for Caring, will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Trinity Chapel Ministries, U.S. 1 South.

Donald Pacetti
Funeral services will be held for Donald Eugene Pacetti, 57, a native of St. Augustine who died April 16, 1998 in Fort Meade, Fla., at 10:30 a.m. at Hancock & McClellan Funeral Home Chapel in Ft. Meade. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Ft. Meade.

William Rolleston Jr.
William Francis ``Mike'' Rolleston Jr., 55, St. Augustine, died Aug. 18, 1998 at his home. A native of St. Augustine, he worked as a freelance writer. He served in the Florida National Guard, and he was a licensed boat captain.
Private services are planned.
Survivors include his daughter, Kimberly Rolleston, St. Augustine; one sister, Penny Rolleston, Tallahassee; and two nephews, Jason and Matthew Kepart, both of Key West.

LaMar Patton
LaMar Bowman Patton, 68, Lady Lake, died Aug. 24, 1998, at St. Vincent's Hospital in Jacksonville. He lived in St. Augustine for four years before moving to Lady Lake. Born in Bethlehem, Pa., he was a veteran of both the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War, having served in the U.S. Air Force.
He was a retired Air Force tech sergeant, specializing in communications. He was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans, a member of the Colorado Springs Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 4051, American Legion Post No. 37, the Air Force Association, a 27-year member of the Elks Lodge, a director of the St. Augustine South Volunteer Fire Department, Station No. 5, and a member of the Saratoga Bottle Collectors of America.
Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the Craig Funeral Home chapel. Flowers are gratefully declined, and those wishing may make donations in his memory to the St. Gerard House, P.O. Box 4382, St. Augustine, 32085, or to the St. Francis House, 70 Washington St., St. Augustine, 32084.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Theresa M. Patton, and a son, Kim Wesley Wright.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Melhinch Patton, Lady Lake; three daughters, Kathleen Kaake and Deborah Swanson, Colorado Springs, Colo., Melanie Henness, Tipp City, Ohio; four sons, Joseph A. Patton, Denver, Colo., Timothy L. Patton, Orlando, Charles M. Patton, Fletcher, Ohio, Mark E. Patton, Englewood, Ohio; four sisters, Laura Harris and Emily Kincaid, Bethlehem, Virginia Holmes, South Gate, Calif., Jeanette Walters, Whitehall, Pa.; and 13 grandchildren.
