Survivors include his wife, Imogene Wells Birge of Caryville; two sons, Keith Birge of Chipley and Mike Birge of Westville; a daughter, Michelle Clayton of Bonifay; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services were held Aug. 22 at Bethel Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Jesse Stanaland officiating.
Burial was in the church cemetery with Peel Funeral Homeof Bonifay directing.
Delphia A. Barton, 57
Delphia Arthina Barton of Westville died Aug. 16 at her home.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Barton of Westville; two sons, Steven Barton and wife, Brenda, and Christopher Barton, all of Westville; daughter-in-law, Tina Barton of Westville; three brothers, Linus Parsons of Branchland, W.V., Gene Parsons of West Hamilton, W.V., and Wandell Parsons of Barbersville, W.V. ; three sisters, Frances Winters of Barbersville, W.V., Wilmerene Smith of Hayes, W.V., and Sue Colson of Christenberg, Va.; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Aug. 20 at Caryville Evangelistic Center with Revs. Kenneth Bradley and Wayne Brannon officiating.
Burial was in Mt. Olive Cemetery with Sims Funeral Home of Bonifay directing.
Vera J. Cooey, 78
Vera Jean Cooey of Niceville died Aug. 15 at her residence.
Survivors include a daughter, Jane Cooey Fleet of Niceville; three sons, Van Cooey of Silverhill, Ala., Kirk Cooey of Pensacola and Rickey Cooey of Westville, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services were held Aug. 18 at Westville Community Church with Rev. David Rathell officiating.
Burial was in Westville Cemetery with Sims Funeral Home of Bonifay directing.
Jennifer Taylor, 19
Jennifer Jewel Taylor of Westville died Aug. 15 in Alabama.
Survivors include her mother, Mary D. Brannon Taylor, and father, Terry Taylor, both of Westville.
Services were held Aug. 19 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Wayne Brannon officiating.

Shirley Boyett, 68
Shirley Ann Boyett of Bonifay died Aug. 20 at Bonifay Nursing and Rehab Center.
Survivors include her husband, Willie Walter Boyett of Bonifay; a son, Walter Wayne Boyett of DeRidder, La.; daughter, Beverly Ann McKinnery of Roswell, N.M.; two sisters, Sue Forthman of Bonifay and Sarah Blackmond of California; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services were held Aug. 21 in the funeral home chapel with Roger Andrews as speaker.
Burial was in Bonifay City Cemetery with Peel Funeral Home of Bonifay directing.
Linda Steverson, 52
Linda Faye Steverson of Bonifay died Aug. 19 at her home.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Inez Kirkland.
Survivors her husband, Michael Steverson of Bonifay; her father, Leonard Kirkland of Blountstown; two sons, Cliff Newsome and Bryan Newsome, both of Clarksville; three daughters and sons-in-law, Stacy and Jamie Miller of Clarksville, Amy and Danny Mancill and Melissa and Mickey Hudson, all of Bonifay; a brother and sister-in-law, Dennis and Janice Kirkland of Clarksville, and six grandchildren.
Services were held Aug. 22 at New Smyrna Assembly of God Church in Bonifay with Revs. Mike White and Michael Tadlock officiating.
Burial was in the church cemetery with Peel Funeral Home of Bonifay directing.
Joe Urquhart, 61
Joe Bill Urquhart, longtime resident of Fort Walton Beach, died Aug. 20 at his residence. He was born Sept. 9, 1942 to Gus and Mildred Urquhart.
Urquhart attended Fort Walton Elementary School and Choctawhatchee High School. He served in the U.S. Marines during the Vietnam War.
He owned the Yellow Cab Company.
He was preceded in death by his father, and a brother, Pug Urquhart.
Survivors include his wife of 19 years, Doreen Urquhart; four sons and a daughter-in-law, Tom and Vanessa Urquhart, Cole, John and Douglas Urquhart; daughter, Jamie; his mother, and stepfather, Mildred and Jim Carden; seven brothers and sisters-in-law, Whitey and Linh, Larry and Sarah, Jerry and Carolyn, Joe Bob and Betty, Snookie and Norma, Neal and Sharon and John Paul; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Rose June and Alvyn Broxson, Janice and Joel Merideth, and Kathy and Scott Stringer; seven grandchildren, and numerous cousins, nephews and nieces, and many other relatives and friends.
Services will be conducted Aug. 25 in Hollywood Baptist Church with Revs. Willie Pace and Phillip Humber officiating.
Burial will follow in Beal Memorial Cemetery in Fort Walton Beach with McLaughlin Mortuary of Fort Walton Beach directing.
