Survivors include two sons, Ralph Slaughter and Bill Slaughter, both of Westville; three daughters, Flossie Holmes and husband, Rex, of Panama City, Peggy Harrell and Margaret Mixon, both of Westville; a sister, Rosalee Moseley of DeFuniak Springs; 10 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held May 21 at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church with Rev. Ike Steverson officiating.
Burial followed in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery with Sims Funeral Home of Bonifay directing.
Frances Elizabeth Goodway, 92
Frances Elizabeth Goodway of Bonifay died May 18 at Mariner Health in Bonifay.
Survivors include a son, Ed Goodway, of Panama City; four grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held May 21 at Sims Funeral Home Chapel in Bonifay, with memorialization by cremation.
Sims Funeral Home of Bonifay was in charge of arrangements.
Jane Delores McGibbon, 72
Jane Delores McGibbon of Bonifay died May 17 at Doctors Memorial Hospital in Bonifay.
Survivors include a friend, Peggy Nock, of Bonifay.
Memorialization was by cremation.
Memorial services will be held at a date to be announced by Sims Funeral Home of Bonifay, which is in charge of arrangements.
Margeret I. O’Brien, 86
Margaret I. O’Brien of Vernon died May 20 in Bonifay.
She had resided in Vernon for the past 24 years.
She was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include a special friend, James McGovern of Vernon.
Graveside funeral services were held May 23 in the Vernon City Cemetery with Father Paul White officiating.
Burial followed in the Vernon City Cemetery with Brown Funeral Home directing.
Irby Edward Dasinger, 89
Irby Edward Dasinger of Cottondale died May 22 in Chipley.
He had resided in Cottondale since 1937, coming from Midland City, Ala.
He was of the Methodist faith, and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Cottondale.
Survivors include two daughters, Ann Franklin of Chipley, and Joan Gainer and husband, Bob, of Cottondale; five grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held May 25 in the chapel of Brown Funeral Home in Chipley, with Rev. Ronnie Wright officiating.
Burial followed in the First United Methodist Church Cemetery in Cottondale, with Brown Funeral Home of Chipley directing.
Stella Landers, 86
Stella Landers of Bonifay died May 19 at her residence in Bonifay.
Survivors include four daughters, Sandra Jean Collard of Old Forge, N.Y., Virginia Huckabee of Birmingham, Ala., Linda Smith and Marta Peck, both of Bonifay; three brothers, Edward Gofgosky of Whitney Point, N.Y., Leon Gofgosky of Willett, N.Y., and Walter Gofgosky of Cincinnatus, N.Y.; one sister, Mildred Diaz, of Seminole, Okla.; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Memorialization was by cremation.

Maude Neal, 82
Maude Neal of Caryville died March 15 at Doctors Memorial Hospital in Bonifay. She was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County.
Neal was a member of St. Mary A.M.E. Church in Caryville.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Jerrand Sheffield of Caryville, Evelyn and Terry Ponds of Kathleen, Ga.; three sisters, Louise and Sarah Johnson of Caryville and Berniece Sims of New York City, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.
Services were conducted March 20 at St. Mary A.M.E. Church with the pastor, Rev. Youngblood Potter, and Revs. Price Wilson and James Johns officiating.
Burial was in St. Mary Cemetery with Cooper Funeral Home of Chipley officiating.
