John-Allen “Hucky Buck” Watson, 7, of Campellton, died July 26 from injuries received in an airplane accident. He was born Nov. 4, 1999, to Travis and Marcey Watson of Campbellton.
John-Allen was an honor student at Graceville Elementary School going to the second grade. He attended First Baptist Church of Graceville and was a member of the Graceville Cub Scouts. He was No. 24 on the coach-pitch team, the “Yankees,” and on the Graceville coach-pitch All Stars. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, collecting knives, guns, arrowheads and riding his dirt bike.
Survivors in addition to his parents; are his grandparents, David and Janet Watson of Campbellton, Barbara and Bobby Stroud of Dothan, Steve and Brinda Joyner; great-grandparents, Peggy Jackson of Dothan, Leo Joyner, Juanita and Charlie Nelson, all of Chipley; several uncles and aunts and a host of friends and cousins.
Funeral was held July 30 at First Baptist Church of Graceville with the Rev. Britt Green, Buford Cox and David Watford officiating.
Burial followed in Marvin Chapel Cemetery with James & Lipford Funeral Home directing.

Ronnie Wayne Miller
Ronnie Wayne Miller, 56, of Bonifay died July 27 at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, Ala. He was born Feb. 26, 1951, in Hartford, Ala.
Miller was a life-time resident of the Bethlehem community in northern Holmes County. He was an active agriculture farmer, and a member of the Cattleman’s Association. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Stewart Dees.
Survivors include his wife of more than 35 years, Nancy Kay Miller of Bonifay; a son and daughter-in-law, Wesley and Emily Miller, a daughter and son-in-law, Tiffany and Marty Majors, parents, W.R. and Eleanor Miller, two sisters and brothers-in-law, Rhonda and Ken Barton, Lisa and Danny Carroll, all of Bonifay; mother-in-law, Ann Dees, and sister-in-law, Maryann Chavis and husband, Clifford, all of Pensacola; and three grandchildren.
Funeral was July 30 at Union Hill Baptist Church with the Revs. Harry Collins, Mitch Johnson and Tommy Moore officiating.
Burial was in the church cemetery with Peel Funeral Home of Bonifay directing.
Lenora Evelyn Baker
Lenora Evelyn Baker, 86, of Clearwater died July 26 at Morton Plant Mease Hospital in Dunedin. She was a former resident of Westville.
Survivors include a daughter, Verlene Kleiger of Denver, Colo.; three sons, Larry Baker of Dunedin, Ted Baker of Clearwater and Kenneth Baker of Bartow, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral was held July 29 at Open Pond United Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Ray Connell and B.J. Groce officiating.
Burial was in Camp Ground Cemetery with Sims Funeral Home of Bonifay directing.
Terry Lee Breedlove
Terry Lee Breedlove, 58, of Bonifay died July 27 at his residence. He was born Feb. 28, 1949, in Grafton, West Virginia.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry Gilbert and Betty Louise Breedlove.
Survivors include a daughter, Terri Jean Williams of Newell, W. Va.; brother, Roger Breedlove of Weirton, W. Va.; four sisters, Darlene Jones of Caryville, Nancy Todd of Chester, W. Va.. Brenda Krezuskie of New Cumberland, W. Va., and Teresa Breedlove of Tallahassee, and one grandson.
Memorialization was by cremation with Peel Funeral Home of Bonifay in charge of arrangements.
Lola Kubay Ashburn
Lola Kubay Leshin Ashburn, 88, of Miami Beach died July 19 at her home. She was born January 17, 1919. She enjoyed visiting the Bonifay area on many occasions.
Survivors include her two sons, Ira Leshin of Weston and Robert Leshin, of Miami; three sisters and one brother: Yola Smith of Lorida, Dot Carroll of Bonifay, and Margaret (Geech) Weiler of Greene, R.I., Edward Kubay of Montverde and four grandchildren.
Memorialization was by cremation. Memorial services will be held in the Miami area on August 24.
Daniel Thomas Murray
Daniel Thomas Murray, 57, of Cottondale died July 30 at his home. He was born in Ponce de Leon but had lived in Cottondale since 1989.
Murray retired from the U.S. Air Force after 20 years. He attended First Baptist Church in Cottondale. He enjoyed working with computers and was a member of many area computer clubs.
Survivors include four sons, John Thomas Murray and wife, Mila, and Ozzy Murray, all of Cottondale, Robert Daniel Murray and wife, Dana, and James Daniel Murray, all of Orlando; one sister, Joan Smith of Texas; a nephew, Rob Smith of Kansas City, and seven grandchildren.
Services were held Aug. 5 at Maddox Chapel in Marianna with the Rev. Jack Brock officiating.
Burial was in Ponce de Leon City Cemetery with James & Sikes Funeral Home, Maddox Chapel of Marianna, directing.
Patricia Diane Keller
Patricia Diane Keller, 53, of Cottondale died Aug. 1 in Marianna. She was born in Ohio Sept. 11, 1953, to Willard Franklin and Eldora (Pelfrey) McCormick and had lived in Cottondale since 1973 moving there from Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her father, Willard McCormick; a daughter, Christina Radau, and a brother, Frank McCormick.
Survivors include her mother, Eldora Hayes of Alford; four sons, Willie Oquin and Wayne Radau, both of Cottondale, Anthony Oquin of Virginia, and Thomas Bowden Jr. of Ponce de Leon; three daughters, Angela Parker of Marianna, Carla Radau of Cottondale and Carrie Bowden of Quincy; four brothers, David McCormick, Steve McCormick and Charles McCormick, all of Ohio, and John McCormick of Alford; four sisters, Roberta Butler and Sharon Reese of Crestview and Carol McCormick, of Alford, and Bonnie Johnson of Cottondale.
Graveside services were held Aug. 3 in Vernon Cemetery with the Rev. Jackie Register officiating, and Brown Funeral Home of Chipley directing.
Joel E. ‘Bubba’ Johnson Jr.
Joel E. “Bubba” Johnson Jr. died Aug. 1.
At the time of his death, Joel was an elder of Geneva Presbyterian Church and a past president and current board member of the Geneva County Treasure Forest Association. He took a special interest in civic beautification, and was instrumental in the establishment of the Downtown Park in Geneva. He was president and chairman of the board of Citizens Bank of Geneva.
A native of Geneva, he attended Geneva public schools and completed high school at Sewanee Military Academy in Sewanee, Tenn., where he was a commissioned cadet officer and a member of the Honor Council. He received a degree in textile engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, where he was a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity.
He later returned to Geneva to work in the family textile mill, served in the Alabama Air National Guard and was a Paul Harris Fellow of the Geneva Rotary Club.
His parents, Joel and Thelma Johnson of Geneva; his sister, Mary Elyse Mattison and a nephew, Bill Mattison, both of Houston, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Nell, of Geneva; a daughter, Leslie Laird of Montgomery, Ala.; a brother-in-law, William E. Mattison of Alexandria, Va. and several nieces and cousins.
Funeral services were held Aug. 4, at Geneva Presbyterian Church on Commerce Street with the Rev. David Ashton officiating.
Burial followed in Geneva City Cemetery with Pittman Funeral Home of Geneva directing.
