Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Baconton Baptist Church with burial in Mt. Enon Church cemetery. The Rev. Jeff Barker will officiate.

Born April 9, 1934, in Mitchell County, Mrs. Collins was retired from RCM Enterprises as a seamstress and a member of Baconton Baptist Church. She was married to the late Larabee "Sonny" Collins and was the daughter of the late Jessie and Lena Mae Redfern Pafford.
Survivors include three sons, Larry Gene Collins Sr. of Baconton, Jerry C. Collins of Albany and Donald Lee Collins of Sale City; two daughters, Beverly Collins of Baconton and Connie Collins of Baconton; 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. today at Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home.

Born July 3, 1948, in Schley County, Ellaville, Mrs. Blue-Williams was a retired production worker for MacGregor Golf Company. She was a 1966 graduate of Monroe High School. She was a member of First Mt. Olive Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday school teacher, secretary of the Baptist Training Union, group leader of the Red Circle Young People Missionary Department, Kitchen Committee worker, One Hour Wednesday Prayer Group and member of the Women's Missionary Department.
Survivors include her husband, Johnny Williams Sr. of Albany; one daughter, Megan Williams of Valdosta; three sons, Sgt. Derrick Williams of Camp Lejeune, N.C., Johnny Williams Jr. and Johnathan Williams, both of Albany; six sisters, Laura Gilyard of Atlanta, Mary Ann Washington of Oglethorpe, Pearlie (Lonzra) Collins of Ellaville, Ella Blue Lucas of Cataula, Mavis Brooks of Atlanta and Victoria (James) Haynes of Albany; five brothers, Elzie (Clara) Blue Sr. of Daytona Beach, Fla., the Rev. ALBANY - G. Douglas Collins Jr., 96, of Camilla, died Wednesday, February 26, 2003, at his residence.
The memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church, Camilla, at 3 PM Saturday, March 8. The Rev. Joe Beauchamp will officiate.
A native of Mitchell County, Mr. Collins grew up in the Flint Community. He graduated from the University of Georgia in 1929, and received a Master's Degree from the University of Tennessee in 1932. For over 30 years, he worked as an agricultural statistician for the Crop Reporting Bureau, U.S. Department of Agriculture, working in North Carolina, Washington, DC, and Tennessee. After his retirement, he returned to Camilla in 1964, with his wife and daughters. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Camilla. Along with managing his tree farm, Mr. Collins served as the church treasurer for 23 years, served as a deacon and was a member of the Fellowship Sunday School Class. He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Rebecca Swearingen, who died in February, 1999, his parents, George Douglas Collins Sr. and Addie Lee Martin Collins, a sister, Laurie Marion Collins and two brothers, Julian Walden Collins and William Martin Collins.
Survivors include two daughters, Linda C. Harp and her husband Seth Harp of Columbus, and Anne Douglas Collins and her husband Bruce Crauder of Stillwater, OK; a brother, Andrew Marion Collins and his wife Ann Smith Collins of Camilla; a sister-in-law, Maxine James Collins of DeSoto; four grandchildren, Mary Rebecca Harp of Houston, TX, Leslee Harp Shannon and her husband Stephen Shannon of Dallas, TX, Douglas Collins Crander and Robert "Robbie" Collins Crauder of Stillwater, OK; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends and family from 2 p.m.- 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, March 1 and March 2, at his residence, 226 Main Street, Camilla.
