TIFTON - Genevieve Ruth "Noni" Bolling Combs, 79, of Tifton, formerly of Stuart, Fla., died Tuesday, October 15, 2002, in Panama City, Fla.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Albritton-Beaumont Funeral Directors with interment in Tift Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Earl Steffens will officiate.
The pallbearers will be Eddie Combs, Chris Combs, Ted Xydias, Danny Newsome, Steve McCleery and Roy Sanderfur.
A native of Ransom, Ky., Mrs. Combs had lived in Tifton for 25 years. She was a homemaker, mother and grandmother "Noni".
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Edward and LaNora Combs of Panama City, Fla.; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Buck Hitson of Tifton; seven grandchildren, Eddie Combs, Amy Combs Xydias, Chris Combs, Trudy Yingling Newsome, Jody Yingling McCleery, Katy Combs and Lindsay Yingling Sanderfur; eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Emerson Combs; parents, James Louis and Zettie Belle Hatfield Bolling and two brothers.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m.-9 p.m. today a the funeral home.
Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Hospice.

COLQUITT - Eleanor P. Dancer, 82, of Colquitt died Wednesday, October 16, 2002, at Miller County Hospital.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Colquitt Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Colquitt City Cemetery. The Rev. Don Bazel will officiate.
The active pallbearers will be Robert Taylor, Jeff Dancer, Brad Dancer, Darren Dolan, Adam Bush and Chris Johnson.
A native of Miller County, Ms. Dancer was a retired clerk from Stafford Market where she worked for 35 years. She was a member of Colquitt First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, Tubby Dancer and daughter-in-law, Patricia of Colquitt; two daughters, Dottie Chandler and son-in-law, Lavon of Donalsonville and Dianne Johnson and son-in-law, Milton of Jakin; sister, Bonnie McClelland of Jakin; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will be 7 p.m.-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

PELHAM - Henry Shelley Mash, 71, of 528 Wade Road, Pelham, died Wednesday, October 16, 2002, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Braswell Funeral Home with interment in Pinecrest Memory Gardens. The Revs. Nathan Fowler and Paul Wilkes will officiate.
Honorary pallbearers will be Freddy Lasseter, Boria Condrey Sr., George Summerford, George Cox, Billy Lasseter and Doc Pollock. Active pallbearers will be Greg Yoder, Billy Braswell, Randall Pollock, James Mash, William Harrell and Bobby Mash.
A native of Mitchell County, Mr. Mash was a retired brick Mason. He wan Army veteran of Korea and was a member of Smith-Spence American Legion Post #144. He was also a member of Union Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Murel W. Mash of Pelham; two sons, Richard Henry Mash and Johnny Mash, both of Pelham; four daughters, Yvonne Davis of Meigs, Peggy McCarthy of Jasper, Fla., Jackie Whigham of Austell and Nancy Dillard of Pelham; nine grandchildren and a great-grandchild; brothers, Arthur Mash Jr. of Cairo, Talmadge Mash of Houston, Texas, and Braxton Mash of Whigham, GA; sisters, Ruby Roberts and Roselyn Senn, both of Albany.
Visitation will be 7 p.m.-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Rosa B. Wilson Reynolds
DAWSON - Rosa B. Wilson Reynolds, 76, of 1024 James Cross Avenue, Albany, GA, died Tuesday, October 15, 2002, at the family residence.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Sandersgift Missionary Baptist Church in Sasser, GA. The Rev. H.C. Boyd, Pastor of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, Albany, GA, will officiate. Burial will follow in Pineview Cemetery in Dawson, GA.
Mrs. Reynolds was educated in the public schools of Terrell County, GA. She was a member of Sandersgift Missionary Baptist Church and served in many capacities as a loyal church member. She was a member of the Albany Ministers Wives and Widows Association.
Mrs. Reynolds leaves to mourn her passing and to cherish her memories a loving and devoted husband, the Rev. J.H. Reynolds; six children, James (Caroline) Reynolds Jr. of Atlanta, GA, Julia Reeves, Deacon Bobby (Andrea) Wilson, Ella "Linda" (James) Robertson, all of Albany, GA, Brenda "Gail" (Alvin) Cohen of Tallahassee, FL, and Debra Wilson of Fitzgerald, GA; 12 grandchildren, Melanie (Martin) Harper, Karsten Reynolds, Cindy Reeves, Christy Reeves, Allison Wilson, Alisha Wilson, Alexandria Wilson, Bobbi Glenneika Wilson and Bobby Wilson II, Danielle Robertson, Darrell Robertson and Ashley Cohen; three sisters-in-law, Oberziner (Willie) Cheeks, Johnnie Bell Hunter and Rosa Griffin, all of Albany, GA. A devoted friend, like a sister, Iola Sanders of Albany, GA, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday at Beulah Baptist Church in Albany. The remaining visitation hours will be at the funeral home.

ALBANY - Mattie C. Everett Cobb, 73, of 2307 Hemlock Drive died Sunday, October 13, 2002, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
The funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at First Kiokee Baptist Church in Terrell County with burial in Riverside Cemetery. The Rev. Solomon Loud Jr. will officiate.
A native of Baker County, Mrs. Cobb was a member of Green Grove C.M.E. Church.
Survivors include four daughters, Janie (Alonza) Loud of Sasser, Betty Cobb, Virginia Cobb and Alice Faye Cobb, all of Albany; three sons, Willie Peterson and Homer Cobb Jr., both of Albany and James Cobb of Leesburg; 15 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m.

ALBANY - James Crawford, 75, of 1320 Hill Street, Atlanta, died Wednesday, October 9, 2002, at South Fulton Medical Center in Atlanta.

A native of Albany, Mr. Crawford was a retired mail handler for the U.S. Postal Service. He was a graduate of Madison High School in Albany and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of Arcadia Baptist Church in Albany.
Survivors include his daughter, Betty Lucas of Decatur; one sister, Willie Mae Pratt of Atlanta; one son-in-law, Melvin Lucas of Atlanta; six grandchildren, Sandy Bell of Atlanta, Cornell Jones Jr., Danielle Southerland, Tashamee Alston, Shenquela Jones and Shawanna Jones, all of Norfork, Va.; seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two nieces, Ann Stewart of Albany and Mary Lee of Atlanta; two nephews, General Lee (Belinda) Flownory of Atlanta and Greg Crawford of Albany; two great-nieces, Tonia (Rodney) Crowell of Charlotte, N.C., and April Stewart of Albany; three great nephews, DeJuan Lee, Cortney Hill and Derrick Flownory, all of Atlanta.
The family of Mr. Crawford will receive friends and relatives at the residence of his niece, Annie Stewart of 1912 Jones Avenue here in Albany.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Beulah Baptist Church in Albany with interment in Riverside Cemetery. The Rev. J.H. Reynolds, pastor, will officiate.
A native of Terrell County, Mrs. Daniels was a retired teacher for the Terrell County Board of Education. She was a graduate of Terrell County public schools and Albany State University where she received her B.S. degree. She was a member of Beulah Baptist Church and a former member of the Eastern Stars.
Survivors include three daughters, Betty Roberts of Beaufort, S.C., Winifred Tinson and Mattie King, both of Albany; three sons, Robert Brantley and Everett Daniels, both of Albany, and Paul Daniels of Atlanta; five sisters, Christine Stewart of Detroit, Mich., Arris Hamilton of Dawson, Dolly Porter and Inez Johnson, both of Albany, and Barbara Whittaker of Warner Robins; two brothers, Aurelious Daniels Jr. and Clarence Daniels, both of Dawson; 29 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

ALBANY - Daisy Edwards-Mitchell, 44, of 903 Inverness Road died Monday, October 14, 2002, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul Baptist Church in Albany with interment in St. Paul Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. R.W. Jordan will officiate.
A native of Albany, Mrs. Edwards-Mitchell was a health care provider. She was a 1976 graduate of Dougherty High School and was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Ashley Mitchell of Albany; one son, Chance Mitchell of Albany; eight sisters, Mary Edwards-Wilburn of Columbus, Easter Dickerson of Columbia, S.C., Margie Ford, Willie Mae Robinson, Rose Lamar, Leola Perry, Gladys Edwards and Cynthia Cox, all of Albany; two brothers, Willie C. Edwards and James D. Edwards, both of Albany; and one child.
The remains of Mrs. Mitchell will lie-in-state at the church Saturday from 1 p.m. until the funeral hour.

A native of Dougherty County, Ms. Green was a homemaker. She attended the public schools of Dougherty County and was a member of Greater Zion Tabernacle Apostolic Church Inc. where Bishop Harold E. Sawyer Sr. is the pastor.
Survivors include two sisters, Lexie Smith and Irene Covin of Albany; three nieces, Shirley Gills of West Palm Beach, Fla., Ethel Ray Green and Alexie Parks of Albany; four nephews, Ervin Covin, James Covin, all of Albany, and Michael Covin of Atlanta and John Covin of Albany.

Wilhelmina Lashley
ALBANY - Wilhelmina Lashley, 80, of 600 Holly Drive, Lot 201 died Wednesday, October 16, 2002, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Sunnyside Baptist Church with the Rev. John Townsend and the Rev. Bobby Moye officiating. The graveside service will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta with the Rev. Tim Hunter and the Rev. John Townsend officiating.
A native of Greenville, S.C., Mrs. Lashley lived in Atlanta most of her life moving to Albany in 1994. She was a retired bookkeeper and a member of Sunnyside Baptist Church where she was a member of the Fidelis Sunday School Class. Mrs. Lashley was also a member of the Eastern Star and Golden Key.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Lashley and her daughter, Nita Smith.
Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Lashley of Albany; daughter and son-in-law, Jane and Lyonel Morgan of Monroe; brother and sister-in-law, Maynard and Clydene Nalley Jr. of Lawrenceville; sister and brother-in-law, Fran and Bill Waites of Alpharetta; grandchildren, Wilhelmina Elizabeth Walker, Bobby Smith and Bryan Smith; three great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends today from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
