DAWSON - Mary Frances Kersey Day, 83, of Brandon, Fla., formerly of Dawson, GA, died Tuesday, November 5, 2002, at the Grace Healthcare Center in Lakeland, Fla.
The funeral service will be held at Harvey Funeral Home Chapel Saturday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Bert Tapley officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Day was a native of Shellman, GA, born February 25, 1919, daughter of the late Joseph Luide Kersey and Mary Frances Parham Kersey. She was a homemaker and a member of Bronwood Baptist Church. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Maryville, Tenn.
Survivors include her husband, William T. "Bill" Day of Brandon, Fla.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Patsy and Ray Conrad of Plant City, Fla., Mary Lynn and Paul Warner of Chatham, Ill.; a sister, Virginia Rainey and her husband, Douglas of Lakeland, Fla.; four grandchildren, Patty Jo Conrad-Stewart, Dustin Warner, T.J. Warner and Jessie Warner; one great-grandchild, Alexander Stewart.
Visitation will be 6 p.m.-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

TIFTON - Shirley Myrle Prince Hudson, 68, of Tifton died Wednesday, November 6, 2002, at her residence.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church in Tifton with interment in Oakridge Cemetery. Dr. W. Wayne Roe and Dr. W. Ches Smith will officiate.
The pallbearers will be Bennie Prince, Martin Prince, Bobby Palmer, R.B. Gainous, Sonny Cox, Esdell Prince, Wendell Prince, Maneus Courtney and Steve Thompson. Honorary pallbearers will be Gardeners Sunday School class, First Baptist Church, Tifton.
A native of Cairo, Mrs. Hudson was a member of First Baptist Church where she retired as a preschool daycare teacher and was a member of Gardeners Sunday School class. She was also vice president and president of the Tift County High School Band Parents Association. She was an avid gardener and R.V. camper.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Scott Hudson and Kaycee Brown of Smyrna; daughter and son-in-law, Heidi and Dean McAllister of Acworth; brother, Jerry "Jack" Prince of Cairo; three grandchildren, Taylor and Kate McAllister of Acworth and Darby Renee Hudson of Smyrna.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth M. Hudson and parents, Hazel Gainous Prince and Jerry Donald Prince.
Visitation will be 7 p.m.-9 p.m. Saturday at Albritton-Beaumont Funeral Directors-Tiftarea Chapel.

A native of Dougherty County, Mrs. Riggins-McGee was a homemaker. She attended Dougherty County public schools and was a member of Union Baptist Church.
Survivors include one sister, Ozzie Bell Hallman of Albany; five nieces, Alice Hayslip Robinson of Leesburg, Iola Milledge-Gardner, Arlie Milledge, Annie Roberts and Jeanette Chatman, all of Albany; two nephews, Willie James Milledge of Albany and J.L. Milledge of Tampa, Fla.; several great nieces and nephews.
The remains of Mrs. Riggins-McGee will lie-in-state at the church today from noon until the funeral hour.
