ALBANY - Evelyn Jackson-Wyatt, 90, of 223 West Third Ave., Albany, died Tuesday, November 12, 2002, at Albany Health Care Center.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Bethel A.M.E. Church in Albany with interment in Riverside Cemetery. The Rev. Ernest Davis Jr. will officiate.
A native of Calhoun County, Mrs. Jackson-Wyatt was born October 11, 1912, and attended Calhoun County public schools. She was a member of Bethel A.M.E. Church and had retired from Campbell Soup Company.
Survivors include two sisters, Malissa Graulau of Albany and Maggie Douglas of Edison; a niece, Christine Green of Philadelphia, Penn., and a nephew, Delmus Jackson, also of Philadelphia, Penn.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m.-6 p.m. today at Meadows Funeral Home.
The remains of Mrs. Wyatt will lie-in-state at the church on Saturday from noon until the funeral hour.
The family of Mrs. Wyatt will receive friends and relative at the home of her sister, Malissa Graulau, 2415 Dawson Rd., Apt. X-8, here in Albany, GA.

SYLVESTER - David Jones, 65, of 608 S. Washington St., Sylvester, died Monday, November 11, 2002, at Albany Health Care in Albany.
The funeral will be at noon Saturday at First African Baptist Church with interment in Shepard Memorial Garden. Elder Arthur Fulton will officiate.
A native of Worth County, Mr. Jones was born September 22, 1937. He was a carpenter and a member of Jerusalem Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Gloria Jones-Wilson of Oakfield; three sons, David Jones Jr., Jessie Lee Jones, and Melvin Jones, all of Sylvester; two sisters, Emily Wise and Mary Levette, both of Atlanta; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

ALBANY - Mae Redmond Ramsey, 67, of Kenesaw, NE, died Wednesday, November 13, 2002.
The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Kimbrell-Stern with interment in Thundering Springs Cemetery. Dr. Ron Baxley will officiate.
A native of Lee County, Mrs. Ramsey lived in Lee County and Dawson before moving to Kenesaw. She was a life member of the VFW Auxiliary, former manager of the Swanee Swifty Store on US 19 where she worked for 18 years, and had worked at Oxford Manufacturing in Dawson for a number of years.
Survivors include a daughter, Sharon R. Ramsey and a son, Charles Ramsey, both of Kenesaw, NE; two brothers, Mount Redmond of Pelham and Al Redmond of Dawson; and four grandchildren, Jenny Williams of Albany, Vivian Ramsey of Richmond, VA, James Ramsey of Pensacola, FL, and Cassie Mae Ramsey of Kenesaw, NE.

ALBANY - The Rev. James L. Redding, 61, of 1201 Waddell Avenue died Thursday, November 7, 2002, at Phoebe Worth Medical Center in Sylvester.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at New Birth Fellowship Church in Albany with interment in Floral Memory Garden Cemetery in Albany. L.B. Gardner is the pastor and the Rev. Johnny Gardner officiating.
A native of Terrell County, the Rev. Redding was the owner of Redding Construction Company. He attended Calhoun County public schools and received his religious training from Bethany Divinity College & Seminary. He was vice moderator of the St. Paul Association, current pastor of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Poulan, former pastor of Mt. Nebo Baptist Church in Leary, Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Sumner, Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Albany and Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Leslie. He was also a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Albany where the late Rev. Jake Edwards Jr. was pastor.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Holloway-Redding of Albany; four daughters, Kim Redding, Demetrius Redding and Debbie Redding, all of New York, New York, and Evangelist Gloria (Sammy) Pollard of Albany; seven sons, the Rev. Johnny (Helen) Gardner, the Rev. Jimmy (Gladys) Gardner, the Rev. L.B. (Betty) Gardner, Jonathan Gardner, Kennedy (Jackie) Johnson, Ricky (Sheila) Johnson, all of Albany, and Willie Johnson of Chesapeake, Va.; three brothers, Robert Redding of Cocoa Beach, Fla., Andrew Redding of Tampa, Fla., and Willie C. Redding of Albany; one sister, Mattie Frost of Albany; three goddaughters, Minister Barbara Cole, Gwendolyn Hicks and Cynthia Fleming, all of Albany; 29 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

BONAIRE - Col. Roderick "Roddy" M. Busbee, USAF (Ret.) 70, died Tuesday, November 12, 2002, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today at Trinity United Methodist Church in Warner Robins. Interment will follow the service at 1:30 p.m. in Andersonville National Cemetery. Col. Busbee was born in Vienna, GA. He began his Air Force career in 1953, after receiving a bachelor of science degree and an Air Force ROTC commission from the University of Georgia. After completing pilot training, he served his first operational assignment in Korea. Upon returning to the states, he was assigned to the Strategic Air Command, flying the B-47 and the B-52 aircrafts. He flew 194 combat missions during the Vietnam conflict. He received numerous awards and decorations, including the Distinguished Flying Cross, the Bronze Star, the Air Medal with eight Oak Leaf Clusters, the Air Force Commendation Medal, the Vietnamese Service Medal, and the Outstanding Unit Award. His job assignments have included: Chief of Wing Standardization Evaluation Division, Squadron Operations Officer, B-52 Squadron Commander, Assistant Deputy Commander for Operations - 19th Bomb Wing, and Field Maintenance Squadron Commander -19th Bomb Wing, Deputy Base Commander - 509th Combat Support Group and Deputy Commander for Resource Management - 509th Bomb Wing.
A member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Col. Busbee was a past chairman of the Administration Board and a member of the Hope Sunday School Class. He was an active member and a past president of the Warner Robins Rotary Club. A past president of the Houston County Home Builders Association, he also served on the board at Gateway and the Salvation Army. He served on the Commission of Organized Crime under past President Ronald Regan. His parents, Perry and Nell Busbee Sr., preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Earline Busbee of Bonaire; daughters, Debbie Crump of Fort Valley, Paula Hillerud of Mansfield, TX; son, Rick Busbee of Ackworth, GA; brothers, Dr. Perry Busbee of Cordele, Gov. George Busbee of Duluth; sisters, Jane Turton of Cordele and June Coley of Vienna.
