Funeral services will be held today (Monday), 11 a.m. at Mother's Home Free Will Baptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery. The Revs. Talmadge Worsley and Bobby Whitaker will officiate.
Born on February 16, 1939 in Miller County, GA, Mr. Musgrove was a construction supervisor and a member of Mother's Home Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Willine Adams Musgrove of Colquitt; two sons, David C. Musgrove of Bluff City, TN, and Richard Spears of Bartow, FL; two daughters, Sharon Calhoun of Colquitt and Sheila Kirbo of Bainbridge; four brothers, Coy Musgrove and Earl Musgrove, both of Colquitt, James Musgrove of Wetumpka, AL, and Charlie Musgrove of Fort Lauderdale, FL; five sisters, Betty Berry of Charleston, SC, Mildred Norman of Ashburn, Catherine Truman of Oakfield, Sara Godwin of Climax and Shirley Phillips of Colquitt; and nine grandchildren.
Mr. Musgrove was preceded in death by one son, Clifton M. "Little Cliff" Musgrove II, one grandson, Jack Kirbo and one granddaughter, Taylor Kirbo.
Pallbearers are Glen Sheffield, Ted Bryan, Ned Bryan, Randy Adams, Chuck Musgrove and Terry McVey.

Mattie Dora Williams Brown
ALBANY - Mattie Dora Williams Brown (affectionately known as Basha) of Albany, formerly of Leary, was born to Pearl Williams and the late Rollin Williams in Calhoun County where she became a faithful member of the Saint Maryland Baptist Church in Leary under the leadership of the Rev. Zack Bailey.
She sang in the Saint Maryland choir and more recently attended services and sang in the choir at Bethamy Temple in Albany.
A Georgia native, she lived in Leary and the Albany area all of her life. She worked in various capacities, including as a nurse and most recently at Kroger Company's Tara Foods in Albany until she became ill.
On Friday, November 29, 2002, she departed this life and leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Pearl Williams of Albany; two daughters, Sabrina Williams of Atlanta and Sophia Brown of Albany; three sons, Ted Brown, Tony Brown and Rogers Williams and his wife Loretta Williams, all of Albany; six grandchildren, Shelby Brown and Alex Brown, Toni Brown, Rogers Williams Jr., Justin Williams and Christopher Williams, all of Albany; three sisters, Maple Devine, Mary Frances Jones and Pearlene Scott of Albany; three brothers, Raleigh Williams of Albany, Cornelious Williams of Atlanta, and Otis Williams of Tampa, FL; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Homegoing services will be held at 1 p.m. today at Saint Maryland Baptist Church in Leary.

ALBANY - The graveside funeral service of Bettye B. Harris, 75, of 223 Third Avenue, Albany, GA, who died Monday, December 2, 2002, will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Jesup City Cemetery in Jesup, GA.
A native of Wayne County, GA, Mrs. Harris had resided in Albany from 1952 to 1974, moving to Waycross in 1974, and living there until 2001, and then returning to Albany until her death. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include two sons, Jeff Harris of Albany, GA, and Mel Harris of Mobile, AL; a brother, Charles Beaver of Jesup, GA, and a half-brother, Dan Tummings of Etowah, TN; two granddaughters, Ivy Harris and Savannah Harris.
The family is at the residence of Jeff and Sharon Harris, 5807 Old Dawson Road, Albany, GA, and will receive friends from 6 p.m.- 8 p.m. today at Mathews Funeral Home.

ALBANY - The funeral service of Venalyn Eubanks Johnson, 72, of 2007 Waddell Avenue who died Monday, December 2, 2002, will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. The Rev. Charlie Brown will officiate. Interment will follow in Floral Memory Gardens.
A native of Newton, Mrs. Johnson had resided in Albany most of her life. She was a 1948 graduate of Albany High School. She was the manager of Burnt Tree Mobile Home Park and was the owner and operator of Affordable Accounting and Tax Preparation. Mrs. Johnson was a member of Byne Memorial Baptist Church and the Open Door Sunday School Class. She was a member of Southwest Georgia Exchange Club, a former member of the Women of the Moose and Women in Construction. Mrs. Johnson was a youth bowling instructor and coach for many years.
Survivors include her husband, James Lindsey "Hoss" Johnson of Albany; three daughters, Emily Coleen Johnson, Leslie Johnson Pollock and her husband, Wayne and Jocelyn (Jo) Johnson, all of Albany; a brother, Merrill Eubanks of Albany; four grandchildren, Anna Marie Pollock, Lindsey Johnson, Brandon Pollock and Wesley Pollock. She was preceded in death by a son, Mark Lindsey Johnson.

ALBANY - Agnes Marie Kimbrell, 85, died Sunday, December 1, 2002, at Palmyra Nursing Home.

A native of Winterhaven, FL, Mrs. Kimbrell was a long time resident of Albany.

Julian Logue
ALBANY - Julian Logue, 76, of Albany died Sunday, December 1, 2002, at Northside Hospital in Atlanta from complications of pneumonia.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, 11 a.m. at First Assembly of God with interment in Crown Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Gilbert Harris and the Rev. Craig Howell will officiate.
Mr. Logue was born February 26, 1926, in Grady County, GA, where he lived with his parents, six brothers and sisters until he entered the United States Marine Corp. He served in the South Pacific and China during World War II. After leaving the service of his country, he returned to Albany where he made his home.
Mr. Logue was married to Mable Barnett Logue who preceded him in death. He was a member of First Assembly of God and a former member of the Albany Civitan Club and the Albany Rotary Club. He had worked at and had been a previous part owner of the Albany Hardware Company for over 50 years. He was a past Sunday School teacher, R.A. leader and had served Meals on Wheels.
Mr. Logue is survived by his two sons and daughters-in-law, Keith and Shannon Logue of Marietta, GA, and Stan and Jackie Logue of Roswell, GA; four grandchildren, Tyler, Chase, Katy and Abby; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Harvey and Sara Logue of Cairo, GA, and Douglas and Mary Lou Logue of Whigham, GA; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Virginia Gainous and her husband Ted of Bradenton, Fla., and Rena Johns of Live Oak, Fla.; two sisters-in-law, Hazel Hughes and her husband Billy of Albany and Martha Barnett of Winder, GA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Kimbrell-Stern today from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

ALBANY - Arleta Monts-Jennings, 98, of 518 Holloway Avenue died Tuesday, November 26, 2002, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cray's Chapel C.M.E. Church in Albany with interment in Union Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Randy King will officiate.
A native of Sumter County, Mrs. Monts-Jennings was a homemaker and a member of Cray's Chapel C.M.E. Church. She attended Sumter County public schools.
