Mr. Lewis was born October 2, 1911, to the late Floyd Jackson Lewis and Lydia Arnold Lewis. He was a retired farmer and a member of Antioch Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Stella Posey Lewis of Arabi; son, Larry Lewis of Cordele; daughter, LaRue Williams of Albany; two brothers, W.H. Born August 8, 1935, in Toombs County, GA, Mr. Poole was a retired farmer and a member of First Pentecostal Church of God in Newton. He was the son of the late Grover Louis and Nina Mae Reese Poole. Mr. Poole was preceded in death by a son, James Shannon Poole.

A native of Havana, Fla., Mrs. Sasser had lived most of her life in Early County. She was a homemaker and a member of Arlington United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Sasser Fincher and husband, Talmadge of Arlington; three brothers, Hershel Gordon of Cleveland, Ga., Woodrow Gordon of Woodbury and James Gordon of Douglas; four grandchildren, Eugenia Lane and husband, Randy of Edison, Jan Sizemore and husband, Kenneth of Arlington, Mike Fincher and wife, Marlene of Arlington and Pam Delk and husband, Brian of Arlington; nine great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Sasser and parents, William and Mae Patton Gordon.

ALBANY - Irene Baughman, 83, of 1904 Palmyra Road died Thursday, December 5, 2002, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
The funeral service will be held Monday, 1 P.M. at St. Teresa's Catholic Church with interment at Floral Memory Gardens. The Rev. Finbarr Stanton will officiate.
Mrs. Baughman was a native of Pittsburgh, PA, and moved to Albany in 1991. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Baughman was a member of St. Teresa's Catholic Church and The Women's Club of Castle Shannon, PA.
Survivors include two sons, John E. Baughman and his wife Rosemary of Albany and Leonard H. Baughman and his wife Linda of Pearl River, LA; a sister, Naomi Dietz of Schaumburg, IL; 6 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A native of York County, SC, she was a longtime resident of Albany. Mrs. Coleman was a member of First Baptist Church of Albany where she was a member of the Senior Bible Class. She was the oldest member and a lifetime member of the Albany Women's Club, a member of the Eugmore Garden Club. For many years she was active in the Easter Seals, a member of the Eastern Star, the Hasan Shrine Auxiliary, and the Albany Little Theatre.
Surviving include her daughter; Elizabeth C. Finn and her husband Mickey of Rock Hill, SC; three grandchildren, Lisa R. Lidikay of Columbia, SC, David C. Rickey of Birmingham, AL, and Layne V. Tubby of Charlotte, NC; step-granddaughter, June F. Hammon of Cleveland, TN; seven great-grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren.

ALBANY - George Taylor, 94, of Albany, GA, died Friday, December 6, 2002, in Lewisville, TX.
The funeral service will be held Monday, 11 A.M. at Kimbrell-Stern with interment to follow at Floral Memory Gardens.
A native of Central Falls, RI, Mr. Taylor was a Mason and a member of the Crape Myrtle Chapter #163 O.E.S. He worked for Coats and Clark Textile for over 50 years retiring as a foreman. He was preceded in death by his wife Bertha Jacques Taylor in 1985.
He is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth Shaffer and her husband, Theodore, Jr. of Alamogordo, New Mexico, and Janis Salviz and her husband Joe of Lewisville, TX; one son, Kenneth G. Taylor and his wife Kathy of Albany, GA; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 7 brothers and sisters.
