Mrs. Thompson was born in Dayton, Tennessee and lived in Oneida, Tennessee before moving to Albany in 1972.
She was the widow of the late Elmer C. Thompson.
Survivors include a daughter, Elinore Ann Carson of Albany; a son, Elmer Clifton Thompson of Lake Forest, CA; and 15 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

SYLVESTER - Thelma McLemore Turner, 74, of 506 Softwind Ct., of Albany, died Friday, December 6, 2002 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held Monday, 11 a.m. at Banks Funeral Chapel, with burial in Hillcrest Cemetery. The Rev. Tommy McDonald will officiate.
Born December 16, 1927 in Worth County, Mrs. Turner was formerly employed with Belk's and Roses of Albany. She also operated a booth at Kitty's Flea Market. Mrs. Turner volunteered in the community by providing blankets for the newborn at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital and dolls for abused children through the Albany Police Department. She lived most of her life in the Dougherty County area. She was the daughter of the late James Eli Bradford McLemore and Anniebelle Priest McLemore. She was the widow of Theron R. (Dickie) Turner, who died January 21, 1982. She was a member of Sunnyside Baptist Church.
Survivors include four daughters, Brenda Payne of Enterprise, AL, Gayle Monroe of Leesburg, Marsha Baker of Dawson and Pam Dawkins of Ariton, AL; a son, Richard Turner of Panama City, FL; two brothers, John W. McLemore of Sylvester and Clinton McLemore of Knoxville; and 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

DONALSONVILLE - Lawrance C. "L.C." Frasier, 88, passed away on Friday, December 6, 2002 at his residence in Miller County. Funeral services will be today (Sunday) at 3 p.m. from Corinth Freewill Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery. The Rev. Talmadge Worsley will be the officiating minister.

Mr. Frasier was a native of Fulton County, GA, born on May 31, 1914, and was the son of the late Lawrance Willard and Pearl Duren Frasier. He was a retired farmer in Miller County and attended Corinth Freewill Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Trudie Mae Brooks in 1994, and a son, L.W. Frasier in 1992.
Mr. Frasier leaves to cherish his memory a son and daughter-in-law, Gary Frasier (Marie) of Bainbridge; a daughter and son-in-law, Bobbie F. Patterson (B.J.) of Sylvester; a daughter-in-law, Hilda Frasier of Donalsonville; three sisters, Thamaria Smith of Belle Glades, FL, Pauline West of Tampa, FL, and Chastine Burke of Iron City; and five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Born February 25, 1924 in Early County, Mr. Jarrett was a retired farmer and member of Colomokee Baptist Church, where he was a deacon. He was the son of the late Perry Franklin Jarrett and Winnie Dunaway Jarrett.
Survivors include his wife, Johnnie Alfrieda King Jarrett of Blakely; two daughters and sons-in-law, Angeline and Leo Wells of Atlanta and Iris and Ed Richards of Lawrenceville; two sons and daughter-in-law, Mack Jarrett Jr. of Douglasville, Eric and Debbie Jarrett of Blakely; a sister, Doris Thomas of Gainesville; five grandsons, Leo Wells IV and Cameron Wells, both of Atlanta, Eric Jarrett Jr. and Jason Jarrett, both of Blakely and Ed Richards of Lawrenceville; and an adopted grandson, Cole Medlin.
Pallbearers are Mr. Jarrett's grandsons and adopted grandson.

Mr. McRee was a life time resident of Terrell County. He was a life time member and deacon of Calvary Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Georgia Southwestern College in Americus. He was employed by Cargill Peanut for 20 years and is currently employed by Tyson Foods of Dawson.
He was preceded in death by his father, Grover Cleveland McRee Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Sheila R. McRee, his mother, Zell McRee, and a brother, Cleve McRee, all of Dawson; and several nieces and nephews.

AMERICUS - Jane Kelley Peacock, 76, died Friday, December 6, 2002 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. today (Sunday), graveside at Oak Grove Cemetery, with the Revs. Jarrell Lillard and Doug James officiating. The family will receive friends at the residence of Bobby Peacock Jr., 650 Hwy., 27 East, Americus.
Ms. Peacock was born March 20, 1926, daughter of the late Hill Stapleton and Sue Weisiger. She was a honor graduate of Americus High School, attended Georgia Southwestern College, and was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority. She retired from the Bank of Commerce, now Wachovia Bank and from Sumter Regional Hospital, where she kept records for Drs. Robinson, Dudley and Teaford. She was a member of the First Methodist Church in Americus.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Linda Jane Hayes and Thomas E. Hayes of Columbus; one son and daughter-in-law, Bobby Peacock Jr. and Cookie Peacock of Americus; one grandson and his wife, Travis and Erin Wright of Ellaville; and three great-grandchildren.
