The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Jordan Grove Baptist Church in Lee County with burial in Riverside Cemetery. The Rev. Albert Bob will officiate.
A native of Dougherty County, Ms. Houston was a graduate of the public schools of Dougherty County and graduated from Monroe Comprehensive High School in 1963 and continued her education at Atlanta Area Technical College, where she received her degree in nursing.
Survivors include her mother, Ruth Linkhorn Houston of Albany, GA; two brothers, Nathaniel (Eiffie) Linkhorn of Riverdale, GA, and Pete (Florence) Jackson of Dunwoody, GA; two sisters, Audrey (Kacey) Baliste of Killeen, Texas, and Donna Jackson of Thomasville, GA; one great aunt, Lucille McFarland of Albany, GA; two uncles, Roger (Ella) Linkhorn of Albany, GA, and Booker (Katie) Linkhorn of Atlanta, GA; one aunt, Helen Linkhorn of Atlanta, GA; a nephew, Shan Swan of Atlanta, GA; a great niece, Shanay Daniels of Decatur, GA; and a special friend, Henry Carr of Albany, GA.

A native of Detroit, Mich., Mrs. Scott was a member of U.S. 19 Church of Christ where she served faithfully in the media center. She retired as a micro-filmer/micrographics. She attended Inkster public schools in Inkster, Mich.
Survivors include her husband, Benjamin Scott of Albany, GA; one daughter, Sherry LeGrace Whitfield of Warner Robins, GA; two sons, Christopher James Scott of Helena, GA, and Duane Joseph Scott of Atlanta, GA; four aunts and two great-nephews.
The body will lie-in-state at the church from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour.

Mrs. Childs was the daughter of the late Zach and Dovie Frazier. She was a native of Sumter County and was a member of Campbell Chapel AME Church of Americus. She was a graduate of Ft. Valley State College/University. She was a retired seamstress and school teacher, having taught in Washington, DC, and middle Georgia.
Survivors include a sister-in-law, Mary Lee Little and a host of nieces and nephews.
