A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home. William B. Martin III will officiate.
Mr. Martin was a native of Dothan, AL.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Martin of West Monroe, LA; one daughter and son-in-law, DeeDee and Randal Mize of Copperas Cove, TX; one son and daughter-in-law, Brett and Dianne Martin of Downsville, LA; two grandsons, Mason Tyler and Joshua Alan Mize of Copperas Cove, TX; one sister, Berriene Martin of Rye, CO; sister-in-law, Dynva Martin of Cedar Springs; nieces, Judi Cross and Peggi Givens of Oklahoma and Jayne McIntyre of Florida; nephew, William B. A native of Poughkeepsie, NY, Mrs. Benford had lived in Albany for over 50 years where she was employed with Gargano's Italian Restaurant until her retirement. Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Rosemary of Albany; sisters, Rita Brue and Gilda Deichler of New York; brother, Jennaro Pataro of New York.

Born May 8, 1922, in Worth County, Mr. Curry was educated in the Worth County Public School System at that time. He was employed as a farm worker, specializing in forestry and pulpwood. He was a member of Charity Grove Baptist Church in Doles.
Survivors include his daughters, Jannie Mae Morris of Ashburn, Mary Lee Little of New York, NY; sister, Ella Lee Rockwell of Warwick; grandchildren, Charles Curry, Gloria Morris, Pamela Morris, Billie Little, Robert Lee Little, Katherine Morris Pitts, Donald Little and Charmaine Rogers; 14 great-grandchildren; 21 great-great-grandchildren.

COLQUITT - Russell Levon (R.L.) Dykes Sr., 71, of Colquitt died Wednesday, January 4, 2006, at Miller County Hospital.

Born September 1, 1934, in Marianna, FL, Mr. Dykes was a retired farmer and a member of Kimbrel Chapel Church of God.
Survivors include his wife, Marie Dykes of Colquitt; three sons, Russell L. Dykes Jr. and wife, Glenda of Gainesville, FL, Richard L. Dykes and wife, Tere of Bainbridge and Clifford E. Dykes and wife, Teresa of Blakely; one daughter, Sharon D. Worsley and husband, Tim of Damascus; three brothers, Jimmy Dykes of Colquitt, Willie Dykes of Kentucky and Wayne Dykes of Rome, GA; four sisters, Kitty Dukes, Pearl Douglas, Doreen Lee, all of Colquitt, and Patsy Hulse of Douglasville; 18 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy White; and two brothers, William R. Dykes and James Earl Dykes.

ALBANY - Lucille Beaver, 80, of Sasser, died Saturday, January 7, 2006 at Dawson Manor Nursing Home.
The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday, graveside at Riverside Cemetery, and the Rev. Steve Hood will officiate.
A native of Poulan, Mrs. Beaver lived in the Albany area and retired from Coats & Clark upon working there for more than 20 years. She was a lady that knew no strangers, and she dearly loved her family and was greatly loved by them. She loved her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ and was a longtime member of Faith Baptist Church of Albany.
She is survived by two sons, Rodger Beaver Sr. and his wife, Sharon of Sasser, and Ronnie Lee Beaver and his wife, Brenda of Albany; six grandchildren, Rodger Beaver Jr., Doug Beaver, Melodie Beaver, Ronnie Shannon Beaver, Jennifer Beaver Justice, and Jason Lee Beaver; five great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandchild; and a brother, Bobby Bullington of Albany.
She was preceded in death by her parents, P.L. and Susie James Bullington and her husband, Frank Beaver.
The family will receive friends, 4 p.m.-6 p.m. Sunday (today) at Kimbrell-Stern Funeral Directors.

ALBANY - The graveside funeral service of Edith Harris Grant, 82, of 1904 Palmyra Rd., Albany, who died Friday, January 6, 2006, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital will be conducted Monday, January 9, 2006 at 10 a.m. at Floral Memory Gardens. The Rev. Tony Haefs will officiate.
A native of Statesville, NC, Mrs. Grant had resided in Albany since 1964, moving from Americus, GA. She was retired from Coats & Clark and was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Grant was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Grant, a granddaughter, Lisa Upright and her parents, Jim and Millie Henron Harris.
Survivors include her daughter, Shelby C. Shook of Conyers, GA; a son, Paul Ray Current of Statesville, NC; a brother, John Edward Harris of Hickory, NC; and two grandchildren, Sharee M. Shook and Tracy Current.
The family will receive friends today (Sunday) from 3 p.m.-5 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.

Mr. Harrison was born September 29, 1926, in Cairo. Jason Levi Harrison was the son of the late Dave Harrison and Mary Lou Williams. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary F. Harrison and son, Dennis Harrison. Mr. Harrison was a Dairy Farmer.
Survivors include his daughter, Becky (Jack) Bratcher of Albany; and five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Hall & Hall Funeral Home from 3 p.m.-5 p.m. today (Sunday), January 8, 2006.

ALBANY - James Michael Powell, 52, of Lee County, died Saturday, January 7, 2006.
His funeral service will be Monday 11 a.m. at Crown Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Bobby Moye officiating.
A native of Chatham, VA, Mr. Powell had lived in Lee County most of her life. He was a graduate of Lee County High School. He was a salesman with Freeway Auto and had worked with Pritchett Ford and Aultman Cadillac. Mr. Powell also served as Chief of Police of Leesburg.
Survivors include his sons, Adam Jacob Powell of Albany, and Anthony Michael Powell and his wife Angela of Canton; grandchildren, Abbie, Allie, and Cloie; sisters, Kathy Turner, and Elizabeth Williams, both of Albany, Cecelia Hite of Edinburg, VA; and brothers, Gene Powell of Augusta, and John Herren of Florida.
The family will receive friends today (Sunday) 3 p.m.-5 p.m. at Kimbrell-Stern.
