ALBANY - Virginia Chester Kirkpatrick, 81, of Albany died Tuesday, April 1, 2003, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
The funeral service will be Thursday 2 PM at Crown Hill Cemetery.
A native of Wrightsville, GA, Mrs. Kirkpatrick had lived in Albany for the past 50 years where she was a member of First Christian Church. She was retired civil service from the Albany Marine Corps Logistics Base. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Henry Kirkpatrick Jr.; her son, James Henry Kirkpatrick III; sisters, Ruth Brown, Rowena Chester and Ethel Beddingfield, her brother, Clay Chester.
Survivors include her son, Jerry Kirkpatrick of Horse Cave, KY; grandchildren, Chad Kirkpatrick, Ken Kirkpatrick and Cherie Kirkpatrick, all of Valdosta; brother, Wesley Chester of Wrightsville; sister, Golas Blount and Julia Veal, both of Wrightsville, Betty Carroll of Dublin, Doris Portka of Augusta, Ruby Franklin of DeLand, FL, and Grace Beacham of Homestead, FL; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Kimbrell-Stern today from 5 PM to 7 PM.

ALBANY - The funeral service of Otis Talmage Watson, 72, of 5500 Gillionville Rd., who died Monday, March 31, 2003, will be conducted today at 11 a.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. The Rev. Bobby Moye will officiate. Interment will follow in Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery.
A native of Franklin County, AL, Mr. Watson had resided in Albany since 1972, moving here from Venus, FL. Mr. Watson was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. Mr. Watson was the ranch manager of Graham Angus Farms, and had been with the Graham Company since 1949.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Watson, of Albany; a son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Darlene Watson of Valdosta; and a granddaughter, Whitney Watson of Valdosta.

EDISON - Ohelia June Adkins, 82, of Edison, died Monday, March 31, 2003, at Patterson Hospital in Cuthbert. The graveside funeral service will be conducted Friday, April 4, 2003, at 3 p.m. at Rose Hill Cemetery in Ashburn with the Rev. Jackie Williams officiating.
Mrs. Adkins was born June 15, 1921, in Clothier, WV, daughter of the late Eli Trusley and Alice Maude Moore Trusley. She was a retired certified nursing assistant and a Baptist.
Survivors include four sons, Robert E. Lee Adkins and Billy Raymond Adkins, both of Edison, Larry Allen Adkins of Cuthbert, and Richard Dale Adkins of Phenix City, AL; five daughters, Plylis Lucile Newman of McArthur, OH, Alice June King and Patricia Gale McGriff both of Cuthbert, Betty Mae Lewis of Rebecca and Reda Kay Adkins of Gulf Port, MS; three sisters, Lois Burgess Gilbert of WV, Myle Adkins, and Willa Burgess, both of Osteen, FL; 11 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Aycock Sills. She had worked for many years with IBM and the United States Civil Service. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
