ROCHELLE - Laura McLeod Wilcox of Abbeville died Wednesday, November 5, 2003, in Macon.
Services and burial will be at Pineview City Cemetery at 3 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Tommy Mason will officiate.
A native of Wilcox County, Mrs. Wilcox was a retired educator. She was a past president of the Georgia Visiting Teacher Association and Alpha Chi Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma Honorary Society. Mrs. Wilcox was named Who's Who, Southern Personalities of the South" and "Who's Who in Georgia." She was a member of the General David Blackshear Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. A member of Abbeville Methodist Church, she was a lay speaker of the South Georgia Conference.
Survivors include her two sons and daughters-in-law, Tommy Day and Cindy Wilcox of Macon and Roderick McLeod and Sally Wilcox of Albany; two sisters, Rose Wischkaemper of Macon and Jane Lou Faircloth of Brunswick; one sister-in-law, Joyce Dortch of Pineview; and five grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Abbeville Methodist Church, c/o James Cannon, 8260 American Legion Road, Abbeville, GA 31001.
Visitation will be at the cemetery following the service.

COLQUITT - William Frank (Tunk) Cook, 65, of Americus died Tuesday, November 4, 2003, at his residence.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Sheffield Funeral Chapel with interment in County Line Baptist Church cemetery. The Rev. Tommy Long will officiate.
Born March 23, 1938, in Baker County, Mr. Cook was a mechanic. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his son, Glenn and daughter-in-law, Sandra Cook of Meigs; one daughter, Joann and son-in-law, Ken Forrester of Americus; one brother, Gerald Cook of Colquitt; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.

DAWSON - Chris E. Dickey of Americus, formerly of Dawson, died Monday, November 3, 2003, in Americus.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today at Harvey Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Wyman Richardson officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Dickey was a native of Bishopville, SC, born November 19, 1953, son of the late Donald Dickey and Beatrice Kinard Dickey Mack. He had been a resident of Americus for the past six years moving there from Dawson. He served in the U.S. Army Paratroopers and was currently employed with Perry Brothers Oil Company.
He was a member of Central Baptist Church in Americus.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Robin Caroline Mack.
Survivors include his parents, Robert and Bea Mack of Dawson; a brother, Terry Dickey of Dawson; a sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and Mark Wiggins of Athens; a nephew, Motie Wiggins and a niece, Laura Slade Wiggins, both of Athens.
