SYLVESTER - Willie B. Stephens, 94, of 602 W. Union Drive, Doerun, died January 7, 2006, at his residence.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Beulah Grove Baptist Church in Sylvester with interment in Shepard Memorial Garden in Sylvester. The Rev. Carl Smith, pastor will officiate.
Born August 11, 1911, in Webster County, Mr. Stephens was educated at St. Mark Elementary School in Weston. He was employed at Craft Made Homes, Inc. where he retired in 1984. He was a member of New Beulah Grove Baptist Church, Sylvester, where he served as a member of the deacon board. He was also a member of the International Free and Accepted Masons Pilgrim Lodge #18.
Survivors include four daughters, Annie B. Williams, Betty L. Stephens, both Sylvester, Kathy F. Stephens, Barbara F. Young, both of Doerun; two sons, Leroy Stephens and Cary J. McCluster, both of Doerun; brother, Clifford Stephens of Sylvester; 13 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Dozier was born in Decatur County, GA, on August 7, 1913, to the late Jarriot Sweetzer and Florence Yates Adams. She was a retired school teacher and married to the late Ralph Will Dozier who preceded her in death in 1979. She was a member of Olive Grove Primitive Baptist Church in Iron City.
She is survived by a son, Wayne Dozier and Sara Ann Brackin of Iron City; and a sister-in-law, Carrie Adams of Donalsonville.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, January 14, 2006, at Cool Springs Baptist Church with burial in Spring Hill Freewill Baptist Church cemetery. The Rev. Ronald Barrett and the Rev. J.P. Wood will officiate.
Born December 14, 1929, in Worth County, Mr. Howell moved to Mitchell County where he attended Pine Hill School. He was employed by Gravely Tractor Co. and retired from Giles Builders. He was a member of Cool Springs Baptist Church. Mr. Howell was the son of the late Fred Lee and Martha Ann Ada White Howell. He was preceded in death by three brothers, J.P. Raymond and Wesley Howell and two sisters, Lucille Matson and Louise Walker.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Judi Wilson Howell of Sale City; two daughters, Julie Howell Blackwell and husband, David of Lester Community and Jenny Howell Newsome and husband, Mikie of Sale City; a brother, Dennis Howell of Albany; two sisters, Opal Howell Parker of Burk, VA, and Frances Howell Phillips of Sale City; four grandchildren, Nathan Blackwell, Tatumn Newsome, Cotton Newsome and Jolie Newsome.
