BAINBRIDGE - Erma Lee Moore Carter, 90, of Bainbridge passed away Monday, January 16, 2006, at Bainbridge Health Care.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Roselawn Memory Gardens. The Rev. Harold Crosson will officiate.
Mrs. Carter was born December 30, 1915, in Baker County, the daughter of Earnest Andrew Moore and Nancy Leola Heard Moore. She was a member of Notchaway Baptist Church and operated Carter's Fruit Stand for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy O. Carter and a daughter, Madys C. Griffin.
Survivors include four granddaughters, Wonde McConnell of Bainbridge, Vickie Smith of Camilla, Kathy Simmons of Savannah and Deede Gary of Statesboro; 10 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Ivey Funeral Funeral Home.
