MOULTRIE - Patricia Ann Pasternak, 61, of 105 Flint Lane, Sylvester died Saturday, January 31, 2004, at her residence.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Monday at New Beginning Holiness Church.
Mrs. Pasternak was born to the late Ruth Estelle Pasternak and the late Michael Pasternak.
Survivors include daughters, Pat Rosiek of Jackson, MI., Barbara Ray of Sylvester, and Helen Clussman of Sylvester; one brother, Michael Pasternak of Omaha, Neb.; sisters, Evelyn Russner and Betty Abshire both of Cleveland, Ohio; and nine grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at 105 Flint Lane, Sylvester, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday afternoon.

ALBANY - J.D. Alligood, 90, of 2207 Lady Marion Lane, Albany, died Thursday, April 15, 2004, at Palmyra Nursing Home.
The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 17, 2004, at the graveside in Meigs Cemetery.
Mr. Alligood was born October 11, 1913, in Grady County, to the late Lloyd Alligood and Nell Godwin Alligood. Mr. Alligood was a sales clerk in the retail business for many years and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Alligood was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Lasher.
Mr. Alligood is survived by his wife, Christine Alligood of Albany; three daughters, Jackie Guido of Albany, Magaret Tucker and husband, Howard of Moultrie, Elaine Pye and husband, Reggie of Rex; also three sisters, Helen Dukes of Thomasville, Grace Cline of Thomasville and Ruth Holiday of Vernon, Ala.; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive.

ALBANY - Terry Welborn "T.W." Cordray Jr., 81, of 2010 W. Broad Ave., Albany, left this world for a better place on April 14, 2004. T.W. will come to rest in "The Garden of the Good Shepherd" at Chapel Hills Memory Gardens, beside Develle, his wife of 46 1/2 years.
Funeral services will be held Monday, April 19, 2004, at 3 p.m. at Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Jacksonville, Fla.
T.W. was born in the Fish Ware Park area of Jacksonville, Fla. He had resided in Albany since 1997 moving from Jacksonville, Fla. He came to know our Lord and Savior Jesus at the age of thirteen years old. T.W. was a retired trim carpenter. He served six years in the Navy during World War II and was a member of the VFW Post 2785 and American Legion Post 30. Mr. Cordray had been a member of the Methodist Church for forty-four years and became a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in 1997.
T.W. left behind his wife, Shirley of Albany; his son and daughter-in-law, Danell "Terry" and B.J. Cordray of Winchester, Ky.; and two sisters, Nellie Dyer of Interlachen, Fla., and Mildred Koontz of Gladewater, Texas. Also surviving are four grandchildren; four step grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Monday, April 19, 2004, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Jacksonville, Fla.

ALBANY - Richard Corhen Jr., affectionately known as RJ was born October 14, 1936, to the late Eula Haley Smith and the late Richard Sr. in Baker County. He is the stepson of the late Deacon Johnny B. Smith.
He was reared and educated in Baker County and Worth County. Being an avid sports fan, he met the love of his life at one of her high school basketball games. He later married Martha Ausby on January 26, 1957, to this union six children were born. Clarence (deceased), Verntrener "Trenna", Darrel, Richard III (Kelley), Antinino "Ray" and Bryan.
Richard worked for 19 years at Lykes Packing Co. before they discontinued operations in Albany. Richard recently retired April 1, 2004, after 19 years of service for the Dougherty County Sheriff's Dept.
Homegoing services will be held Saturday, April 17, 2004, at 12 p.m. at Friendship Memorial Baptist Church in Albany. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery. The Rev. Antowine Yowe will officiate.
Visitation will take place at 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Greater Friendship Baptist Church in Oakfield.

ALBANY - Wyndell Louise Blythe Gillis, 61, of Albany died Wednesday, April 14, 2004, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital with her loving children at her side.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 17, 2004, at Kimbrell-Stern with interment to follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Jerry Cooper will officiate.
A native of Buena Vista, Ms. Gillis had lived in Albany for most of her life. She had worked as a painter at McGregor Golf Company. She was a Baptist. Ms. Gillis was preceded in death by her father, Glynn Blythe and her son, Michael "Mike" Gillis.
Ms. Gillis is survived by her son, William Mark Gillis and Marion Henderson of Tampa, FL; two daughters: Tammy Gillis Cox of Sylvester and Pamela Michelle Gillis of Tampa, FL; her mother, Louise Blythe of Ideal; a sister, Shirley Wood and her husband, Roy of Ideal; a brother, William "Billy" Blythe and his wife, Carol of Buena Vista; five grandchildren, Casey Brown, Chad Brown, Devin Busbee, Bianca Pruitt and Jovana Gullette and nieces and nephews.

Mr. Godwin was born February 12, 1926, in Decatur County to the late George Godwin and Ethel Jeter Godwin. Mr. Godwin was a painter. He was the owner and operator of Godwin Paint Contractors from 1979 to 1992. Mr. Godwin was a member of the East Albany Church of God. Mr. Godwin was preceded in death by his first wife, Ramona Godwin; three sisters and one brother.
Mr. Godwin is survived by his wife, Christine McConnell Godwin of Albany; son, Richard Godwin of Albany and daughter, Rachel Stephens of Jacksonville, Ga.; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 10 stepchildren and several step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren also survive.

ALBANY - Lorene Hatcher Lindsay, 83, of 213 Franklin Drive, died Wednesday, April 14, 2004, at Palmyra Medical Centers.
The funeral service will be held at 11 AM Saturday at Kimbrell-Stern with interment at Pleasant Grove Church Cemetery. The Rev. Allen Bingham will officiate.
A native of Mitchell County, Mrs. Lindsay had lived in Albany most of her life and was a member of the Morningside United Methodist Church. She had work as a waitress at the Victory Club for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, James J. Lindsay, a son James A. Lindsay, a daughter-in-law, Denise Spencer Lindsay and a granddaughter, Loretta Lynette Lindsay.
Survivors include a son, Dr. David L. Lindsay of Blacksburg, VA; a granddaughter, Linda L. Heim of McDonald, PA; two great-grandchildren, Autumn and Dravin Heim; a sister, Mamie H. Drake of Marietta and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
The family will be at the residence of Travis and Azalea Thompson, 152 Wiregrass Way and will receive friends today, 7 to 9 PM at Kimbrell-Stern.
