The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Banks Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Rocky Creek Primitive Baptist Church cemetery. The Rev. R.B. Averett and the Rev. Danny Smith will officiate.
Born July 6, 1947, in Colquitt County, to James Franklin Bridwell and Martha Powell Cleveland, Mr. Bridwell had lived in Worth County most of his life. He was a retired construction worker who enjoyed NASCAR, fishing and wrestling. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include his mother, Martha Powell Cleveland of Sylvester; father, James "Jim" Bridwell (Mildred) of Moultrie; brothers, Daniel "Danny" Bridwell (Kathy) of Shalimar, Fla., Bobby Bartley (Becky) of Moultrie and Calvin Cleveland (Jackie) of Sylvester; sisters, Amy Adkins (Luther) of Sylvester, Carol Stephens (Marty) of Newland, N.C., Tamora Powell (Jason) of Sylvester, Patricia Smith (Danny) of Sylvester and Starling Hathcock (John) of LaGrange; a number of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Bridwell was preceded in death by John Calvin "J.C." (Pop) Cleveland.
The family will receive friends today from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Banks Funeral Home.

ALBANY - Hubbard William (Bill) Lancaster, 78, of Albany died Thursday, August 12, 2004, at his residence.
The funeral service will be held at 2 PM Saturday at Kimbrell-Stern Funeral Directors with the Rev. John Tarrer officiating. Interment will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.
A native of Albany, Mr. Lancaster had lived in Albany most of his life. He was a member of Byne Memorial Baptist Church, the American Legion Post 30, VFW, U.S. LST Association, AARP, a charter member of National WWII Memorial, former member of the Albany Lions Club, Elks Lodge # 713, Radium Country Club, Doublegate Country Club, National and Georgia Association of Board of Realtors, and a past president of the Albany Board of Realtors. He was a retired Associate Broker and Vice President of Sales with Walden and Kirkland Realtors. He attended: GMC 2 years, Coyne Electrical School in Chicago, and Northwestern University Radio School. Mr. Lancaster served in the U.S. Navy where he served as a radioman on the LST 463 in the Pacific Theatre for 3 and a 1/2 years.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Cobb Lancaster of Albany, nieces: Paula Hewett Fore of Albany, Jeffie Hewett Casey of Ormond Beach, FL, and Grace Prescott Horr of Albany; a special friend and nurse, Joan Banks of Albany and several great nieces and great nephews.
The family will receive friends at Kimbrell-Stern today from 6 PM until 8 PM.

ALBANY - Rosia M. Peck-Jones, 72, of 1307 Avalon Ave. died Friday, August 6, 2004, at her residence.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Shiloh Baptist Church in Pecan City with interment in the church cemetery. The Rev. Silas Jackson, pastor and the Rev. R.W. Jordan will officiate.
Born May 25, 1932, in Worth County, Mrs. Jones was a homemaker. She attended Dougherty County public schools and was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.
Survivors include five daughters, Gloria Ponder, Glenda Jones, Emma Jones, Darlene Clark and Cherry Ann Jones, all of Albany; two sons, Gregory Jones and Jerry Jones, both of Albany; 18 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.
The remains of Mrs. Jones will lie-in-state at the church Saturday afternoon from 1 p.m. until the funeral hour.

SYLVESTER - Raymond Rockwell, 38, of 245 N. Main St., Warwick, died Friday, August 6, 2004, at Phoebe Worth Medical Center in Sylvester.
The funeral will be at 12 p.m. Saturday at Blue Springs Baptist Church in Warwick with interment in Mt. Zion Baptist Church cemetery in Warwick. The Rev. Samuel Stokes, pastor will officiate.
Born June 21, 1966, in Worth County, Mr. Rockwell was a farm helper. He was educated in the Worth County Public School System where he graduated from Worth County High School. Early in life, he became a member of Zion Grove Baptist Church in Oakfield. Later in life, he became a member of Hebron Baptist Church in Albany.
Survivors include his mother and father, Ora Lee Morris and Johnny B. Morris, both of Warwick; three children, Jermaine Rockwell and Ja'Mon Rockwell, both of Albany, and Kaderian Rockwell of Eufaula, Ala.; two sisters, Angela Washington and Tracy Morris, both of Albany; two brothers, Johnny Morris and James Morris, both of Albany; stepparents, Abe Dawson and Agnes Dawson, both of Albany; three stepsisters, Lawanda Dawson of Albany, Jessie Mae Evans of Sylvester and Tracy Dizal of Abigail, Texas; three stepbrothers, Monterio Dawson and Lawrence Dawson, both of Albany, and Abe Dawson Jr. of Syracuse, N.Y.; grandmother, Ella Lee Rockwell of Warwick.

Mrs. Sims was born March 30, 1921, in Mitchell County. She was a 26 year member of Union Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and served on the usher board. One of her greatest achievements was earning her GED at the age of 80. She was a spiritual mother and sister to all.

AUGUSTA - Minnie Mae Baker, 69, entered into rest Wednesday, August 11, 2004, at University Hospital.
Mrs. Baker was born in Baker County, Ga., the daughter of the late Tom Sheffield and Collie Mae Musgrove. She was retired from BellSouth after 38 years. She was a member of Sherwood Baptist Church, Communication Workers of America and BellSouth Pioneers. She was a devoted mother, friend and neighbor.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 14, 2004, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with the Rev. Jim Johnson and the Rev. Marion Jay officiating. Interment will be in Westover Memorial Park.
Family members include her son, Bernie Baker and his wife, Paula of Augusta; sisters, Kathaleen McKenney of Colquitt, Gladys Cox of Leary, Gloria Palardy of Leesburg, Ann Cox and husband, Julius of Damascus; brothers, David Sheffield of Leesburg, Leslie Sheffield of Damascus; and several nieces and nephews.
