The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 2, 2005, at Mt. Cilla Missionary Baptist Church, Carange, GA. The Rev. Ceaser Clark, pastor will officiate. Burial will follow in Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Cuthbert, GA.
She attended the public schools of Randolph County, GA. She was a member Mt. Cilla Missionary Baptist Church.
Four sisters preceded her in death, Glendia, Joyce, Pearlie and Ommie Sue Scott; one brother, Marvin Scott, also preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her memories; a devoted husband, Lester Johnson of Cuthbert, GA; her children, Linda Timpson (Don) of Cuthbert, GA, Wilbert Scott of College Park, GA, Vickie Johnson and Geraldine Robinson (Andrew), all of Cuthbert, GA, Jerry Johnson (Veronica) of Athens; three nephews she reared as her own, Dontape Scott (Lois) of Tallahassee, FL, Travis Scott (Teresa) of Cuthbert, GA, and Marcus Scott (Emma) of Moultrie, GA; three sisters, Eunice Dumah of Baltimore, MD, Annie Murphy of Cuthbert, GA, and Freddie Althea Scott of Albany, GA; three brothers, Elidge Scott (Shirley) of Hawkinsville, GA, Willie James Scott (Virginia) and Randolph Scott, both of Cuthbert, GA; sisters-in-law, Pastor Lula M. Brown of Edison, GA, and Ester B. Johnson of Atlanta, GA; also left to cherish her memory, eight grandchildren, Tiffany Scott, Corey Scott, Tyree Scott and De'Viana Johnson, all of Cuthbert, GA, Destiny Johnson of Americus, GA, Shavonna Dickey, Michael Dickey and Joshua Moore, all of Cuthbert, GA, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

BAINBRIDGE - Mary Alice Suggs Moore, 93, of Bainbridge, formerly of Miller County and Baker County, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2005, at Memorial Hospital in Bainbridge.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at County Line Baptist Church in Colquitt with interment in the church cemetery. The Rev. Danny Shepard will officiate.
Active pallbearers will be Jonathan Moore, Bernard Moore, Michael Brock, Danny Moore, Philip Moore, Jeffrey Turner, Tommy Moore, Harry Rich and Johnny Turner.
Mrs. Moore was born on January 30, 1911, in Baker County, the daughter of Green Matthew Suggs and Sarah Frances Calhoun Suggs. She was a homemaker and a member of County Line Baptist Church in Colquitt. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis L. Moore Jr. and two sons, Troy Moore and Fhalis Moore.
Survivors include a son, Glyndell Moore of Woodstock; a daughter, Gracie Brock Hunt of Bainbridge; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

ASHBURN - Funeral services for Mary Pearce Stephens, 78, of Ashburn will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, April 2, 2005, at Sycamore Baptist Church in Sycamore. Interment will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery in Cordele. Mrs. Stephens passed away Wednesday at Ashburn Health Care following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Broward Co., Fla., to Bazel Jackson and Mary Eva Harvey Miller. Mrs. Stephens was a homemaker and a member of Sycamore Baptist Church. She lived in Crisp Co. for a long number of years before moving to Turner Co. over twenty years ago. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Clinton C. Pearce in 1973 and Leroy C. Stephens in 2002.
Survivors include her sons, Larry (Carol) Pearce of Bryon and Jerry Pearce of Ashburn; her grandchildren, Clinton and Jennifer Pearce of Mauldin, S.C., and Katie Pearce of Macon; a nephew, Glenn Miller of Cordele.

SYLVESTER - Mildred Blanchard Federspiel, 83, of 155 Duran Drive, Sylvester, died Monday, May 9, 2005, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Isabella Baptist Church with interment at 1 p.m. in Shiloh Cemetery in Dooly County. The Rev. Al Wilbourn will officiate.
Born November 24, 1921, in Crisp County to Jane Walker Blanchard and Felix Ken Blanchard, Mrs. Federspiel had lived in Worth County since 1975. She was a homemaker who sang and yodeled professionally for over fifty years. She was an avid craft and quilt maker. Mrs. Federspiel was a member of Isabella Baptist Church and the Senior Citizens where she entertained regularly.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie H. Federspiel.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Janice Sizemore Cagle and Sam Cagle of Sylvester; seven grandchildren, Tammy Sue Odom of Sylvester, Jamey L. Odom of Sylvester, Donna Lynn Odom Pope of Sumner, Donna Cagle of Albany, Brady Cagle of Sylvester, Amy Roberson of Albany and Kelly Cagle of Albany; 11 great-grandchildren.
