ALBANY - The funeral services of Bronye Cotton Giddens, 84, of 2455 Oak Grove Church Road, Carrollton, GA, formerly of Albany who died Saturday, January 11, 2003, will be conducted today (Monday) January 13, 2003, at 2 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. The Rev. Bobby Moye will officiate. Interment will follow in Floral Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Giddens, a native of Baker County, GA, was born January 18, 1918, the daughter of the late John Henry Cotton and Josephine Musgrove Cotton. Mrs. Giddens was a homemaker and a member of the Milford Methodist Church in Milford, GA.
Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Genavee "Jenny" and Larry Mann of Temple, GA, Beverly and Mark Johnson of Dunwoody; son, Charlie D."Sonny" Hall and fiancee, Charlotte Jolly of Sumner; a sister, Gladys Phillips of Newton; seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Olin "Red" Giddens.

Born August 16, 1914 in Wilcox County, Miss Ball the daughter of the late Sarah Ellen Gordon Ball and William Alfred Ball. Miss Ball lived in Ben Hill and Wilcox Counties most of her life and was a former resident of Waycross, GA, and Tampa, FL, where she was retired as a bookkeeper at Hava Tampa Cigar Company. She was a former employee of Fitzgerald Mills. She was a member of Callie Garbutt Baptist Church.
Survivors include a brother, Thomas Judson Ball of Fitzgerald; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Bridges was born August 8, 1930, in Clay County. She had lived in Calhoun County most of her life. She was retired from the Department of Family and Children Services. She was a member of Morgan Baptist Church. Mrs. Bridges was a member of the Willing Workers Sunday School class and the Baptist Women of Morgan Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Lester McNair of Edison and Brenda and Alan Long of Albany; two sisters, Earline Vann and Carolyn Brunner, both of Edison; one brother, Bill Lee of Cocoa Beach, Fla.; two grandsons, Lee and Cole McNair of Edison.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Reuben Cole Bridges and parents, Earl and Estelle Parker Lee.
In lieu of flowers, the family wants donations to be made to Morgan Baptist Church or to The Albany Hospice, P.O. Box 1828, Albany, GA 31703.
