UNADILLA - Funeral services for Willie "Dub" Sipp Jr. of Vienna will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in Free Providence Baptist Church in Vienna. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery in Pinehurst.
Mr. Sipp died Thursday, January 9, 2003, in a local hospital. He was the son of the late Will and Carrie Sipp, a member of Free Providence Baptist Church, a former member of the Masonic Lodge and had worked for the Dooly County Road Department.
Survivors include his companion, Louvina Noble of Vienna; his children, Willie Sipp Jr. (LaShon) of Valdosta, Rosa Mae Tiller (Charles) of Port St. Joe, Fla., Geraldine Neizil (Michael) of Orlando, Fla.; four sisters, Willee Sipp, Willie Mae Clark, Essie Lee Williams and Floral Bell Sanders, all of Orlando, Fla.; one brother, Harvey Clark of Miami, Fla.; stepdaughter, Annie M. Molden of Vienna; one aunt, Lois Sipp of Orlando, Fla.; eight grandchildren.

He was employed by the Ford Motor Company in Detroit, MI, until his health failed.

A native of Albany, Mr. Jackson was born February 13, 1969. He was a dietitian for Golden Corral steak house. He was a graduate of Monroe High School and a member of Ebenezer Christian Center in Albany.
Survivors include his mother, Lou Jackson of Albany; two sisters, Janice Jackson-Bradford and Dianne Jackson, both of Albany; 10 brothers, Joe Jackson, Samuel Jackson, Paradise Jackson, Arthur Jackson, Nathaniel Jackson, Charlie Jackson, Ulysses Jackson, Curtis Jackson and Larry Jackson, all of Albany, and Marvin Jackson of Atlanta.

ALBANY - The graveside funeral service of Richard Gilbert Jenkins Sr., 48, of 1826 Porters Corner Road, Sylvester, died Thursday, January 16, 2003, will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. at Floral Memory Gardens. The Rev. Elbert Osteen will officiate.
A native and lifelong resident of Albany, Mr. Jenkins was born to Wilburn Russell Jenkins and Jennie Mae Parker Jenkins on October 6, 1948, and had moved to Worth County eight years ago. He was the owner of Jenkins Contracting Company.
Survivors include his wife, Shirlee Hinson Jenkins; a son, Richard Gilbert Jenkins Jr. and a daughter, Melissa Marie Jenkins, all of Sylvester; three brothers, Gene Russell Jenkins and Ronald Wilson Jenkins, both of Albany, and Robert Allen Jenkins of Nashville, TN; two sisters, Wanda Jenkins Pantone of Albany and Kathy Levins of Doerun; his stepmother, Betty Hinson of Sylvester; a grandson, Robert Gilbert Jenkins III and a granddaughter, Emily Melaine Jenkins.

Born in Pickens County, SC, Mrs. Wilson had lived in Albany the last 25 years. She was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church and was retired from the Civil Service as an Administrative Assistant.
Survivors include her son, Allen T. Wilson and his wife Ann of Albany; brother, Hoyt Martin, Seneca, SC; grandchildren, Martin T. Wilson and his wife Beverly, Adrianna L. Wilson and a great-grandchild, Lauren Wilson.

Mr. Daniel was a native of Calhoun County, born February 20, 1920, son of the late John Green Daniel and Evelyn Layton Daniel. He served in the U.S. Navy during WW II and was a retired farmer and lived in Calhoun and Terrell Counties most of his life.
Survivors include two sons, Lamar Daniel of Dawson and Larry Daniel of LaGrange; three grandchildren, Lee Daniel of Albany, Scott Daniel of Dawson and Shane Daniel of Dothan, AL; a brother, Curren Daniel of Morgan; a sister, Frances D. BAINBRIDGE - W.T. "Squint" Laslie, 80, of Attapulgus died Wednesday, January 15, 2003, at Memorial Hospital.

A native of Decatur County, Mr. Laslie was born March 28, 1922. He attended Oglethorpe University, Atlanta, and Presbyterian College in Clinton, S.C. He was a member of Alpha Lambda Tau social fraternity. He served during WW II with the 410th Army Air Force. He returned to Decatur County and engaged in the growing of shade-grown tobacco, becoming associated with the King Edward Tobacco Company and retired as vice president in Quincy, Fla. He served as chairman of the Tobacco Foundation, chairman of the board of directors of First Federal Savings & Loan in Quincy, Fla., served on the board at Pioneer Savings Bank, Clearwater, Fla., and helped organize the First Port City Bank in Bainbridge, serving as board of directors. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Attapulgus Methodist Church, where he formerly served as treasurer, board of stewards and board of trustees. He was an organizational board member of the Bainbridge Memorial Hospital, having served for 30 years until November 1988 at which time he became a member of the newly created hospital foundation. He was a farmer, avid fisherman and hunter.
Survivors include his son, Winton Charles "Chuck" Laslie (wife June) of Quincy, Fla.; daughter, Anne Laslie Bevis (husband Stuart) of Tallahassee, Fla.; sister, Mary Virginia McCall of Tallahassee, Fla.; four grandchildren, Preston and Charles Laslie and Paul and Rob Bevis; faithful friends, Betty Jean Barkley and Willie Jesse.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Connie Roberts Laslie and parents, James Preston and Maude Abell Laslie.
