DAWSON - Jewell Spillers Reeves of Destin, FL, died at her resident on Wednesday, January 22, 2003. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, at Harvey Funeral Chapel, with Father John O'Brien officiating with burial in Chickasawhatchee Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Spillers was born in Randolph County on February 11, 1928, daughter of the late James William Spillers and Jewel Vickery Spillers. She was a retired registered nurse and had worked in several area hospitals including Terrell County Hospital in Dawson and Sumter Regional in Americus. She also worked for a number of years at St. Joseph's Hospital in Augusta before joining the practice of Dr. Nathan Reeves her husband. They retired in 1984 and moved to Destin; Dr. Reeves died in 1991 and she continued to live there until her death.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Spillers Crawford.
Survivors include a brother, James A. Spillers of Crestview, FL; brother-in-law, James Crawford Sr. of Fort Gaines; five nieces and nephews, Mary Ellen Gibson, James H. Crawford Jr., James A. Spillers Jr., William J. Spillers and locally, Anita Orosz of Albany; and seven great nieces and nephews.

COLUMBUS, MS - Kimberly Keys Dickey, 41, of Columbus, Mississippi, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday, January 24, 2003 at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle, Columbus, MS.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 10 a.m. CST at Evangel Assembly, with interment at Friendship Cemetery in Columbus, MS. Pastor Ron Delgado officiating.
Born November 13, 1961 in Columbus, MS, Kim is the daughter of Bob N. and Beth V. Keys of Columbus. We will grieve our loss as we celebrate her life. Kim graduated from Heritage Academy and Mississippi University for Women. She and her family are active members of Evangel Assembly of God. Kim had just finished her active membership in the Junior Auxiliary of Columbus and was a member of Vine and Olive Garden Club. Kim was also the recipient for the prestigious Women Helping Women Award presented by the Soroptimist Club of Columbus.
In additions to her parents Kim is survived by her husband, Chris Dickey; and two sons, Matthew and Bradley Dickey, all of Columbus; brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Kimberly Keys of Atlanta, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Kendyl Keys and David Reynolds of Albany; mother-in-law, Gloria Dickey, brother-in-law, John Dickey and sister-in-law, Diane Dickey, all of Santa Monica, CA; and grandmother, Nelrose Vail of Montpelier, MS.
Visitation will be held today (Monday) from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. CST at Evangel Assembly of God.

ALBANY - Michael Craig Steele, 33, of 2210 Nottingham Way, Albany, died Thursday, January 23, 2003, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany.
The funeral mass will be held today (Monday), 11 a.m., at St. Teresa's Catholic Church with interment at Crown Hill Cemetery. Father Finbarr Stanton and Father Herbert Wellmeier will officiate.
A native of Pullman, WA, Craig had lived in Albany most of his life. He attended St. Teresa's Schools, was a member of St. Teresa's Catholic Church, graduated from Albany High School in 1989, and also from Darton College. He was a corporal and school resource officer with the City of Leesburg Police Department where he had worked for the past five years.
Survivors include his parents, Jack and Carolyn Steele of Albany; a sister, Rebecca Long of Albany; a brother, Jeff Steele of Albany; a grandmother, Kathleen Botts of Albany and niece, Julia Long of Albany.

DAWSON - Seybron Jett Jr. of Dawson, died at his residence Friday, January 24, 2003. Mr. Jett was a native of Morgan Co., AL, born October 18, 1929, son of the late Seybron Jett and Criner Patterson Jett. He was a retired Chief M/Sgt. with the U.S. Air Force, a veteran of the Korean and Viet Nam conflicts and retired with 31 years of service. He had been a resident of Dawson since 1992 moving here from Birmingham, AL.
He was a member and past President of the Golden Kawanis Club and the Terrell Co. Historical Preservation Society; a member of the P.T. Schley Masonic Lodge No. 229, a member of the Scottish Rite and Hasan Shrine Temple of Albany. He was a volunteer driver for the Shriner's Hospital; a member of the Terrell Co. V.F.W. Post No. 5743, a member of the Holy Spirit Episcopal Church.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Barfield Jett of Dawson; two sons, Terry and wife, Sandra Jett of Montgomery, AL, and Timothy and wife, Ondria Jett of Marietta; two sisters, Gail Bloomer of Fayetteville and Marie Dutcher of Huntsville, AL; brother, Jim Wigginton of Hartselle, AL; and three grandchildren, Nicholas Jett of Montgomery, Samantha Jett and Caroline Jett, both of Marietta.

A native and lifelong resident of Worth County, Mr. McCrary was born October 26, 1912. He was a retired farmer, former police officer with the city of Sylvester, formerly employed with Keenan's Auto Parts and served as a carrier with The Albany Herald. He was a member of F&AM #194 since August 3, 1954, and had received his 25 year pin. Mr. McCrary was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and was the son of the late Homer Clarence McCrary and Ettie McDonald McCrary. He was preceded in death June 14, 1973, by his wife, Eunnie Potts McCrary.
Survivors include a daughter, Wynell M. Black of Sylvester; son, David McCrary of Columbus; brother, Bartley McCrary of Columbus; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.

Mrs. Shephard was born October 2, 1912, in Ozark, AL, the daughter of the late Walter W. Webb and Bessie Judah Webb. She had lived in Columbus most of her life and was a charter member of Wynnton Baptist Church (Wynnbrook) and was a member of the Fellowship Sunday School Class. Mrs. Shephard was retired from Sears Roebuck as a department manager, and was a member of ABWA (American Business Women's Association). She was preceded in death by her husband, E.C. (Shep) Shephard Jr.

A lifelong resident of Albany and Leesburg, Mr. Summerford was a welder supervisor with the Water Gas and Light Commission of Albany. He was of the Baptist faith and was a member of the N.R.A.
