CAMILLA - Catherine Argenia Muliford, 75, of Rt. 2, Box 196, Newton, died Sunday, February 16, 2003, at her residence.
The funeral was held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Travelers Rest Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery. The Rev. Gene Gilbert officiated.
Pallbearers were Ray Griffin, Raymond Parker, Lee Ethridge, Allen Ethridge, Jamie Allen, and Matt Roach. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Etchells, Kenneth Corn, Gene West, Wilson West, Larry Ethridge, and Jack Mulliford.
A native of Bainbridge, Decatur County, Mrs. Muliford was born January 5, 1928. She was a retired child care worker and was a member of Travelers Rest Baptist Church. Mrs. Muliford's parents were the late Joe Josey and Bertha Murkerson. She was preceded in death by her husband, David R. Muliford and her son, David Brooks Muliford.
Survivors include a son, Richard Lynn of Stone Mountain; daughter, Gayle Taylor Mitchell of Post Falls, Idaho; daughter, Jo Anne Muliford West of Newton; brother, Albert Josey of Bainbridge; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

ALBANY - Solomon "Perry" Davis Jr., was born January 1, 1953, in Leesburg, GA, to Solomon Davis Sr. and the late Rosa B. Davis. He departed this life Friday, February 14, 2003, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Bibleway Baptist Church with interment in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church cemetery in Lee County. The Rev. Samuel Pringle will officiate.
He received his education in the public schools of Lee and Dougherty County School Systems. Solomon was a self-employed mechanic. He also loved and enjoyed cooking and fishing.
Solomon attended New Piney Grove Baptist Church and Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church of Leesburg, GA, at an early age. Later years he attended Bibleway Baptist Church of Albany, GA.
He was united in Holy Matrimony to Linda Davis on February 3, 1974. To this union were three daughters and five sons.
He had a brother that preceded him in death, Moses Davis, on June 3, 1998.

ALBANY - The funeral services of Ophelia Cain (Susie) Tanner, 84, of 2003-C Dawson Road, Albany, who died Tuesday, February 18, 2003, will be conducted Friday 2 p.m. at First Assembly of God. The Rev. Jimmy Hagadorn, the Rev. Craig Howell and the Rev. Donnie Sloan will officiate. Interment will follow in Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Moultrie.
A native of Mitchell County, Mrs. Tanner had resided in Albany for 48 years and in the Moultrie area for 10 years. She was a homemaker, the widow of Clarence Tanner and a member of First Assembly of God.
Survivors include a son, Dwight Tanner and his wife, Mary of Valdosta; a daughter, Angelyn Kathy (Angie) Fowler and her husband Tim D. Fowler Sr. of Albany; two brothers, Judson Cain of Albany and Jay Cain of Cleveland, TN; four sisters, Juanita Walker and Virginia Cain, both of Calhoun, GA, Margie Cain of Visalia, CA, Faye Souphall of Montgomery, AL; two grandchildren, Marie Hulett and Melissa Cole Duke and two great-grandchildren.

ALBANY - Charles Frazier, 63, of 1016 Randolph Ave., Albany, died Tuesday, February 18, 2003, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with interment in Floral Memory Gardens. Dr. Daniel Simmons, pastor, will officiate.
A native of Hardee County, Wauchula, FL, Mr. Frazier was born March 19, 1939. He was a retired Assistant Education Professor at Albany State University and was a health and physical education and driver education instructor, Veterans Cab Company, cab driver 106. He graduated from Sebring High School in Sebring, FL; received his BS degree from Albany State College; MA from New York University; and education specialist degree from Florida State University; Albany Area Vocational Technical School, drapery. He also attended the University of Georgia.
He received numerous awards of recognition during his career, including induction into the Albany State University Sports Hall of Fame; Achievement Award for 33 years of service to ASU by the Albany Alumni Chapter Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity; SIAC Officials Association for 25 years of service; Albany Area Football Association for 25 years of service; Retirement Recognition Award for 39 years of Dedicated Service to Albany State University.
He was a lifetime member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc., member of Board of Directors of Boys and Girls Club Inc., and a 33rd Degree Mason of Prince Hall Masons of Wauchula, Fla. He was also a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Geiger Frazier; children, Barbara Dunnaway (Rudell) of Albany, Yelberton Frazier (Cassandra Renae) of Jacksonville, Fla., Charles Frazier II of Ft. Pierce, Fla., Charlene Frazier of Durham, N.C., Karen Stokeling of Miami, Fla.; siblings, Dr. Bobby A. Frazier of Mirimar, Fla., Walter Frazier Jr. (Ethel) of Miami, Fla., and Joann Frazier of Hialeah, Fla.; three grandchildren.
