ALBANY - John David Gilyard, 71, of 611 Wadkins Ave., Albany, died Sunday, February 16, 2003, at his residence.
The graveside funeral will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Wilson Cemetery on Blue Springs Road in Albany. The Rev. Calvin Rollins will officiate.
A native of Baker County, Mr. Gilyard was born April 12, 1931, and had attended Baker County public schools. He was a member of Second Bethesda Baptist Church.
Survivors include four sons, Eddie Gilyard, Eugene Gilyard, James Gilyard and Darrell Gilyard, all of Albany; six daughters, Rosseta Fletcher, Inetha Fletcher, Dollie Nix, Altometer Williams, Belinda Gilyard and Carolyn Jones, all of Albany; a very special friend, Essie Walton of Albany; a God sister, Cornelia Bell of Albany; 38 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.

ALBANY - The memorial service of Sun Nam "Nancy" Gray, 47, of 2717 Davenport Drive, Albany, who died Wednesday, February 19, 2003, will be conducted Sunday at 3 p.m. at First Free Will Baptist Church. The Rev. Billy Hanna and Pastor Hyung Kyu Park will officiate.
A native of Korea, Mrs. Gray had lived in Albany since 1991. She was a sales clerk in the Pharmacy Department at Wal-Mart in Albany, GA. Mrs. Gray was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Leo S. Gray of Albany; three sisters and two brothers.

ALBANY - Nathaniel "Sam" Jefferson Sr., 78, of 1117 Duke Lane, Albany, died Thursday, February 13, 2003, at Palmyra Nursing Home.
The funeral will be at noon Saturday at First Bethesda Baptist Church with interment in Floral Memory Gardens Cemetery. The Rev. Felton Lamar, pastor, with the Rev. Nathaniel Jefferson Jr. officiating.
A native of Calhoun County, Mr. Jefferson was a retired farmer. He was born March 29, 1924, and had attended Calhoun County public schools. He was a member of Second Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Delia E. Dawson-Jefferson; seven children, the Rev. Nathaniel (Eula) Jefferson Jr., Jessie J. (Elizabeth) Jefferson Sr., Mary J. (Samuel) Jordan, Nadine J. A native of Douglasville, Mr. McGuire had lived in Albany for the past 33 years and was a member of Sherwood Baptist Church, and the Home-Bound Sunday School Class. He loved to play golf, hunt, fish, and served his country in the Merchant Marines and the United States Army. He retired from Peerless Manufacturing of Shellman, GA, after 15 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Ann Traylor McGuire, his parents, Carlton Price McGuire and Viola Bartlett McGuire, a sister, Ruth Clarke, and brother, Jack McGuire.
Survivors include his son, Phillip McGuire of Albany; three sisters, Alice Bolton of Cumming, GA, Sheila McGuire of Tucker, GA, and Gladys Entrekin of Orlando, FL; a brother, Mack McGuire of Stantonsberg, NC; a brother-in-law, Guy Traylor of Woodland, AL; and several nieces and nephews.

ALBANY - The funeral service of Homer Lee Wiggins, 63, of 119 Smithville Road, Leesburg, who died Wednesday, February 19, 2003, will be conducted Saturday at 3 p.m. at Leesburg Church of God. The Rev. Bob Prince and the Rev. Sean Faircloth will officiate. Interment will follow in Leesburg City Cemetery.
A native of Dooly County, GA, Mr. Wiggins had resided in Leesburg for a number of years. He was a Navy veteran and a heavy equipment mechanic with Watkins Construction Company. He was a member of Leesburg Church of God where he taught Sunday School.
Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Ann Peek Wiggins of Leesburg; a son, Lee (Brew) Wiggins Jr. of Leesburg; two daughters, Dawn Harrod and Cheryl Nicole (Nikki) Wiggins, both of Leesburg; three sisters, Betty Gill of Sumner, Beatrice Latham of Valdosta, Peggy Duggan of Americus and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Minnie Faulk Wiggins, a daughter, Celeste Jacobs and a sister, Nora Loper.
