BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Lynn F. Hallmark of Statesboro, age 64, died December 1, 2003. He was a native of Birmingham and was a member of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Delores Hallmark; sons, Mike Hallmark (Kristin) and Scott Hallmark (Kristi); daughters, Vicki Hallmark Dellinger and Patty Hallmark Dickey (Chris); grandchildren, Lacey, Jessie, Butch, Ashley, Loribeth, Abby, Tanner and Luke; brothers, Sonny Hallmark and Jerry Hallmark; and sisters, Sharron Shehan, Ann Waldrop and Carla Ward.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday at 1 p.m. at Ridout’s Roebuck Chapel with burial to follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

PORTAL — Mr. Lewis Bunch, age 60, died Monday at the East Georgia Regional Medical Center. He was a Bulloch County native and had lived in Bulloch County most of his life. He was a farmer for a number of years and then became a truck driver until his retirement.
Surviving are his wife, Francis Whaley Bunch of Portal; two sons, Gordon Bunch of Statesboro and Wade Bunch of Collins; three sisters, Irene Merritt of Collins, Martha Sampson of Royston and Willa Dean Wilkerson of Statesboro; eight brothers, Roger Bunch of Statesboro, Waldo, Melvin and Daniel Bunch, all of Portal, Henry and David Bunch, both of Nevils, Frank Bunch of Metter and Milton Bunch of Hartwell; several grandchildren also survive.
The funeral service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home with Rev. Roy Jarriel officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Methodist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jim Wilkerson, Walter Bunch, Wayne Merritt, Kenneth Wilkerson, Franklin Bunch and Ronnie Bunch.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. at Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home.

Mr. Chris Balding, age 40, died Saturday at Memorial Medical Center from injuries sustained in an auto accident. The Oklahoma native lived in Bulloch County most of his life. He was employed with JCB Inc. in Pooler as a team leader. Mr. Balding was a member of the Statesboro Church of God.
Surviving are his wife, Donna Bradley Balding of Statesboro; a daughter and son-in-law, Kristen and Rich Molina of Rincon; two sons, C.J. Balding and Cameron Balding, both of Rincon; a granddaughter, Laura Grace Molina of Rincon; his mother and stepfather, Katie and Larry Hart of Cleveland, Tenn.; a sister, Angel Reed of Atlanta; a brother, John Hart of Cleveland, Tenn.; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Doris and Dudley Bradley Sr. of Statesboro.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Statesboro Church of God with Rev. Will Griffith and Rev. Wayne Swanson officiating. Burial will be in the Bulloch Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Hubert Stewart, Bennie Granade, Matt Kunkel, Chris McBride, Keith Bradley and Glenn Kearney.
Honorary pallbearers will be employees of JCB Inc.

Mrs. Jacqueline D. Smith, age 78, died Monday morning at East Georgia Regional Medical Center after an extended illness. The native of Bulloch County was a homemaker who loved to cook, bake, quilt and sew. She lived in Louisiana for many years before moving back to Statesboro 20 years ago. Mrs. Smith was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carlton William and Lessie Marie Hunnicutt Durden; and one brother, Carlton Lott.
Survivors include her husband, Albert Smith of Statesboro; two daughters, Retha Marie Lott of Livingston, La., and Cheryl Lynn Rushing of Prairieville, La.; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Jake A. Futch Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Carl Ledbetter officiating. Burial will follow in the Upper Mill Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio — Mary Lucille Bressler, age 91, passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2004, at Wright Nursing & Rehab Center in Fairborn, Ohio. She was a former shoe salesperson for Kornhauser’s of Worth Ave. in Palm Beach, Fla. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph H. Bressler; parents, Bryant and Ellen Marie Brown; and four brothers.
Mary Lucille is survived by her daughter, Shirley Arthur (Kyle) of Huber Heights; her son, Dr. John Wesley Bressler (Julie) of Statesboro; one sister, Dorothy Craig (Charles A. Jr.) of Hudson, N.C.; six grandchildren, Vicki Ann, Matthew K. and David J. Arthur, John Wesley III and George H. Bressler and Jennifer Maxwell; 12 great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Jennifer, Kyle, Mary, Amy, Mia, Britney, Christopher, Tyler, Lucas, Cali and Codi; and numerous nieces and nephews including Sharen Lee, Bea, Alex, Charles, Ashley, Christy and Mackenzie.
A private service will be held at a later date in North Carolina at the convenience of the family.

He was a native of Screven County and was a farmer.
Survivors include three sons, Charles Wright, Lee C. Wright and Harry L. Wright; six daughters, Sue A. Manning, Mary E. Roberts, Bessie Patterson, Eunice Wright, Elizabeth Wright and Cynthia Roberson; 32 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the New Zion Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Burton Ferry Cemetery.

Mrs. Pinkie Ann Hagins Crawford, age 67, passed into eternal rest Friday, May 28, 2004, at the East Georgia Regional Medical Center after a long illness. The Bulloch County native was a homemaker and a member of the Beautiful Zion Baptist Church.
She is survived by four daughters, Cecelia Huff, Fran Wilder and Greta Crawford, all of Statesboro, and Mindy Wilder of Rocky Ford; three sons, Gregory Wilder and Luther Crawford Jr., both of Statesboro, and Robert Hagins of Sparta, Ga.; two sisters, Ruby Mae Benton, Queens, N.Y., and Rosetta Burns of Boston, Mass.; two brothers, Willis B. Hagins, Washington, D.C., and Andrew Hagins, Statesboro; an aunt, Janie Lou King, Statesboro; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral service for Mrs. Pinkie Ann Hagins Crawford will be 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Hill’s Mortuary, Inc. with the Rev. C.L. Anderson officiating. Burial will be in the Summer Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
Family visitation will be Thursday from 7-8 p.m. in the chapel of Hill’s Mortuary.
