Mrs. Sarah S. Fishback, 96, of Cabiness, Ga., died Nov. 2, 1997 at Monroe County Hospital.
Mrs. Fishback was the daughter of the late Joe Shannon and Blanche Gibson Shannon and was the wife of the late Owen Thomas Fishback. She was retired from National Linen Service and was a member of Cabiness Baptist Church.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Cabiness Baptist Church in Monroe County with entombment at 1:30 p.m. at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta.

Mrs. Wilma Adams Cole Jackson, 71, of Newnan, died Nov. 1, 1997, at Columbia Peachtree Regional Hospital in Newnan.
Mrs. Jackson was born March 13, 1926 in Heard County, daughter of the late Ance and Maudie Street Adams. Before making her home in Newnan ten years ago, she lived in LaGrange and Grantville and was a member of the Centralhatchee Baptist Church.
Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon at the Chapel of the Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Rev. Stan Rogers officiated and interment was in the Grantville Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Scottie Cole, Daniel Cole, Jesse Cole, Russell Cole, Don Robinson and Joe Holland.

Deacon Charlie Cleotis Rowe Jr., 77, of Crawford Hill Road in Newnan died Oct. 29, 1997, at Henry General Hospital in Stockbridge.
Born Sept. 23, 1920, Deacon Rowe was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Rowe Sr. and was preceded in death by a son, William Rowe.
A graduate of Newnan schools, Deacon Rowe was named a deacon of Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church at age 25 and was named chairman of the deacon board the next year, a position he held for 52 years.
Deacon Rowe also served as president of the Newnan Ushers County Convention and was a past worshipful master of the Newnan Masonic Lodge #299 F&AM. He was a member of Eastern Star Lodge #483 PHA.
A service was held Nov. 2 at Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Ronnie D. Washington officiating, assisted by the Rev. Paul Campbell, the Rev. Dana Graham, the Rev. H.H. Dyer and the Rev. R.N. Martin.
Interment followed at Sunset Cemetery with Masonic rites. Members of the Newnan Masonic Lodge served as pallbearers and the Mt. Sanai Board of Deacons were honorary pallbearers.

A former member of the Meriwether County Board of Education, Mr. Rowe was a member of the Meriwether Cattlemen's Association and a former area representative of the Agriculture Soil Conservation Service.

A service will be held at 2 p.m. todfay at McKoon Funeral Home with the Rev. Bo Hendon officiating. Interment will follow at Whitesburg Cemetery.
Survivors include his mother, Corine Johns of Sargent; brothers, Mr. and Mrs. Bobby (Katrina) Johns of Newnan, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Scott (Darlene) Johns of Alabama; sister, Darlene Johns of Newnan; nephews, Timothy Scott Johns, Harold Casey Witcher; nieces, Emmie Crystal Black, Melissa Corine Johns and Tammy Magdeline Sunshine Witcher; and step-father Roger Wayne Johns.
