Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Goodwin, who have been visiting their son, have
returned to Gordonsville, Va.

where they spent the summer.

Miss Irene Fisher, of Jacksonville, who has been the guest of Mrs.
E. H. Smith for the past week, has returned home.

visiting for several weeks.

Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Covington have returned from their wedding tour.

Miss Janie Lee Brown entertained Friday evening for the second time in
honor of her guest, Miss Gertrude Magoun, of Philadelphia.

Cards are out for the marriage of Miss Lyda Roberts Jeffers and Mr. 
John Donham Tucker at the First Methodist church in Brunswick at 7 
o'clock on Wednesday evening, the 9th of October.  

Mr. and Mrs. Tucker will reside in Thomasville.

Another informal dance was given by the young men in the main building
at the grounds last week.
