Mr. Jack L. Conduff of Peachtree City died October 31, 2007. Jack retired from NCR with 42 years of service. Jack was an Army Veteran and a member of the Jaycees having served as President of the Miamisburg Ohio Chapter. In 1966 he received the Outstanding Service Award to Chapter and Community and in 1968 he received the Appreciation Award for Devoted Effort. Richard (Dick) Grutt
Mr. Richard (Dick) Grutt of Peachtree City, Ga. Died December 24, 2007. Dick was born July 13, 1933, in Columbus, Ohio to Lanetta Kraft Grutt and Elery Grutt. He attended the University of Miami Ohio. He served in the US Air Force for four years and returned to graduate from Ohio State University in 1961. He was an extremely avid OSU Buckeye football fan and enjoyed rooting them on to win every chance he got whether in the stadium or elsewhere. He was employed for fifteen yeas by Owens Corning Fiberglas in Newark and Granville, Ohio. Upon coming to Georgia, he was employed by Cardinal Industries in College Park as Financial Controller. In 1978 he started Grutt's Financial Services in Peachtree City, through which he acquired a large number of loving friends and acquaintances. He loved to play golf and looked forward to playing with his Thursday morning group. He was member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Peachtree City and was blessed to have a large number of CHRP brothers and sisters in the parish. Dick was preceded in death by his daughter, Teresa Grutt Davis in 2000. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Rosemary Barnhart Grutt; a son, Larry Grutt and his wife Marilyn of Kansas City, MO., daughter, Julia Audo and her husband Michael of Wichita, KS.; 4 Granddaughters, Amanda and Toni Audo, Cheryl Grutt Carter and Brittany Davis; 3 Grandsons, Jeremy and Joe Grutt and Leo Davis; 1 Great-Granddaughter, Brooke Carter; sister Phyllis Gossner of Homosassa Springs, FL., niece, Jananne Gossner Able and Nephew, Jeff Gossner. A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday January 5, 2008 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
