Rudell Medlock
CORDELE -- Graveside services for Rudell Medlock, 67, of Cordele will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Sunnyside Cemetery. The Rev. George A. Nelson will be officiating. Rainey Family Funeral Services has charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Medlock died Thursday, February 6, 2003, at Crisp Regional and Rehab.
He was born on Saturday, Sept. 28, 1935, in Franklin County, Ala. He was the son of the late Walter Lee Medlock and the late Lillie Mae (Fleming) Medlock. He was the husband of Sara Ann Medlock.
He is survived by his wife, Sara Ann Medlock of Cordele; two sisters, Lois Martin of Rainsville, Ala., and Opal Gann of Chiskamauga.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Rainey Family Funeral Services Friday, Feb. 7.

Herbert Charles "Sonny" Harris
CORDELE -- Funeral services for Herbert Charles "Sonny" Harris will be held at noon Saturday, Feb. 8, 2003, at the Shady Grove Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery. The Rev. Harold Ross will officiate. J.W. Williams Funeral home has charge of the arguments.
Mr. Harris died February 4, 2003, at Crisp Regional Hospital.
He was born September 28, 1935, and was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. He was the son of the late Decon Eugene Harris Sr. and the late Elusis Jackson Harris. Mr. Harris was a United States Army veteran.
He is survived by two sons, Donald Renard (Glenda) Harris of Macon and Darryl Keith (Syretta) Harris of Cordele; two sisters, Ann Bankston and Vivan Jones both of Fort Walton Beach; a sister-in-law, Nina Dowdell of Detroit; three grandchildren, Holly Harris of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., Shan Darrius Harris of Vienna and Darryl Keith Harris Jr. of Cordele and a devoted friend, Trudie Chester.
Jacob L. "Lev" Roberts III
PINEHURST -- Funeral services for Jacob L. "Lev" Roberts III, 59 of Little River, S.C., will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 8, 2003, at Pinehurst United Methodist Church and interment will follow at Pinehurst City Cemetery. Brannen-NeSmith Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Roberts died Monday, February 3, 2003.
Lillie Davis Milton
CINCINNATI -- Funeral services for Mrs. Lillie Davis Milton, 69, of Cincinnati will be held Saturday, April 5, in Cincinnati.
Mrs. Milton died Thursday, March 28, 2003, in a Cordele, Ga., hospital. Alvie Coes Funeral Home in Unadilla had charge of Georgia arrangements.
She was a native of Dooly County and the daughter of the late Booker T. Davis and Hosie Baskin Davis.
Survivors include her children, Raffel Prophett, Gerald Prophett, LaDonald Prophett and Stanley Prophett, all of Ohio; sisters, Susie Whitehead of Miami, Fla. and Lillian Norman of Ohio; four brothers, George Davis Sr. of Vienna, John R. Davis of Ohio, Charlie L. Davis of Atlanta and Sheddie Davis of Florida; grandchildren; and sisters and brothers-in-law.

Sue Tomberlin Henderson
THOMASTON -- Funeral services for Sue Tomberlin Henderson, 66, of Thomaston will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in New Hope Baptist Church in Thomaston. The Rev. Claude Turner and the Rev. Mrs. Henderson died Wednesday, April 2, 2003, in Emory University Healthcare.
Cleonie King Cross
BYROMVILLE -- Funeral services for Cleonie King Cross will be held at noon Saturday in the New Bethel Baptist Church in Dooling. Burial will follow in Macedonia Church cemetery in the Drayton Community. The Rev. Lewis Burden will officiate the service. J.W. Williams Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Cross died Friday, March 28, 2003, in Pinehill Nursing Center.
She was the mother of her church and president of mission.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. General Cross, and daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Cross Cotton.
Survivors include her devoted children, Willie (Pam) Fields of Vienna, Elnora (Raymond) Anderson of Vienna, Roger (Alene) Fields of Vienna, Bonnie (James) Bullard of Vienna, Sherry Cotton of Vienna, Sarah Spivey of Cordele, Freddie Fields of Cordele and Carolyn (Reginald) Smith of Dooling; son-in-law, Cal Cotton of Vienna; a devoted great-grand, Andreiver Fields of South Carolina; sister-in-law, Hattie King of Ashburn; and special friends, Willie King and Leonard Smith.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 9-10 a.m. and 11 a.m. until the hour of the funeral Saturday.
The selection will be by the New Bethel Church Choir. Scripture reading of the Old Testament will be done by the Rev. Walter G. Carter and the New Testament will be done by the Rev. Curtis Bishop. Prayer will be given by deacon Eddie Daniels. Solos will be done by Earl Clark Jr. and Shone Walker. A poem will be given by Shakeria Smith and words of expression will by family members and friends.
Pallbearers will be great-grandsons: Norman, Andreiver, Zachery and Ja'Blenski Fields, Quarius Bullard and Derrick Dawson.
Flower attendants will be friends of the family.

REYNOLDS -- Funeral services for Lewis Jones will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Bethesda Baptist Church of Reynolds. Burial will follow in Little Vine Cemetery. Bentley Funeral Directors of Reynolds and Cordele has charge of arrangements.
Mr. Jones died Monday, March 31, 2003, in Atlanta.
Survivors include his children, Magalene, Virginia, Patricia, Calvin and Melvin; three step-children, Larry, Jim and Wallace; several sisters and brothers; and 27 grandchildren.
Michael Freeman Clements
CORDELE -- A graveside memorial service for Michael Freeman Clements, 46, of Cordele will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Sunnyside Cemetery.
Mr. Clements died Thursday, April 3, 2003, in Pinehill Nursing Home in Byromville.
He was born Monday, Sept. 17, 1956, in Cordele to the late Jim and Rosa Lee (Neighbors) Clements.
Survivors include two daughters, Jennifer (Clements) Kennedy of Cordele and Kimberly Clements of Cordele; two sisters, Beverly Clements Boling of Cordele and Marilyn Mocko; and brother, Jeff Clements Clements of Cordele.

Lillian Gibbs Willard
CORDELE -- Funeral services for Mrs. Lillian Gibbs Willard, 76, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 30, 2003, in the chapel of Rainey Family Funeral Services.
Mrs. Willard died March 28, 2003, in Crisp Regional Hospital.
The Rev. George Nelson and Milton Bass conducted the service. Soft music was played by Lee Hauesler, pianist.
Pallbearers were Joseph Outen, Gerry Nipper, Bill Gibbs, Randy Askins, Stephen Sims and Clifford Kyle.

W. Marvin Smith
SANDERSVILLE -- Graveside services for Mr. W. Martin Smith, 92, of Sandersville, formerly of Crisp County, were held March 16 at the Old City cemetery in Sandersville. Dr. Jay Harris officiated. May and Smith Funeral Directors of Sandersville had charge of arrangements.
Mr. Smith died March 14, 2003, in the Washington County Extended Care Facility.
Gordon G. Williams
ASHBURN -- Funeral services for Gordon G. Williams, 71, of Sycamore will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Perry Funeral Chapel in Ashburn. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill cemetery in Sycamore. Perry Funeral Chapel has charge of arrangements.

Deloris Augustin

Mrs. Augustin died Monday, March 31, 2003, at her residence.
She was a homemaker and affiliated with Balom's Temple.
Survivors include her husband, Limoine Augustin; mother, Odessa Cunningham; father, Ernest Morgan, daughter, Marcha Toussaint; brothers, John Morgan and Jerome Morgan; and one grandchild.
The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
J.B. Troutman Jr. of Butler died Wednesday April 12, 2003, at his residence. Arrangements will be announced later by Bentley Funeral Directors of Reynolds and Cordele.
