Services for Sadie Ann Haley of Lumber City were held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 27 at Community Bible Church in Stockbridge.

Haley, nine months, died Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2005. She was the daughter of Edwin and Denise Haley of Lumber City. She was a native of Riverdale. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Charles Haley and great-grandparents, Tom and Thelma Haley.
In addition to her parents, survivors include her brother, Nolan Haley of Lumber City; paternal grandmother, Brenda Haley of Morrow; maternal grandparents, Ray and Ann Duncan of White Plains; aunt and uncle, Tim and Kimberly Hong of Greensboro.
Cannon-Cleveland Funeral Directors of McDonough was in charge of arrangements.
Vera Johnson Holloway
Services for Vera Johnson Holloway of Milan were held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 30 in the chapel of Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma with interment in Oglethorpe Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Holloway, 81, died Friday, Jan. 28, 2005. She was the daughter of the late Lester and Myrtie Smith Johnson and was the widow of Murray Holloway.
She was a native of Bibb County and had resided in Oglethorpe where she retired from Macon County Medical Center as a L.P.N. She and her husband ran the city pool in Oglethorpe for several years. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Survivors include her son, Dr. James E. Holloway of Portales, N.M.; daughters, Kathy H. Baase of Soperton, Kam Boone of Milan; sisters, Ellene Hart of Lithia Springs, Vernice Collins of Largo, Fla., Jeanette Geller of Lithia Springs; 18 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Beverly Joyce McIntyre
Services for Beverly Joyce McIntyre of Rhine were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 30 at Sweet Home Baptist Church with interment in Bay Spring Cemetery.

McIntyre, 47, died Thursday, Jan. 27, 2005 at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon. She was the daughter of the late Junior Lee Crawford and Dovie Ann Millwood and was married to Robert Wayne McIntyre of Rhine.
In addition to her husband, survivors include her children, Stephanie Stevenson of Eastman, Robert McIntyre and Christy Cravey, both of Rhine; brothers, James Crawford of Sparta, Joe Crawford of Alamo; and six grandchildren.

Robbie Louise Walker
Services for Robbie Louise Walker of McRae were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 2 at Macedonia Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery.
Walker, 75, died Saturday, Jan. 29, 2005. She was the daughter of the late Bob and Mattie Clements Prickett and was married to William Walker of McRae.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Telfair County and was a homemaker. She was also a member of Faith Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, survivors include her sons, William Walker Jr. of Sanford, Fla., and Robert Walker of McRae; brother, Russell Prickett of McRae; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Contributions may be made to the Macedonia Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 502, McRae.

Mary ‘Maxine’ Yawn
Services for Mary “Maxine” Yawn of Rhine were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 30 at Rockwell Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery.

Yawn, 71, died Thursday, Jan. 27, 2005. She was the daughter of the late Morgan and Meardie Knight Yawn.
She was a native of Rhine and was a member of Rockwell Baptist Church.
Survivors include her brothers and sisters, Dorothy and Murray Lee of Dublin, Valda and Pat Yawn of LaBelle, Fla., Waunelle and Miles Reynolds of Gresston, Florence Yawn Peterson of Rhine, Morgan and Margaret Yawn Jr. of Milan, Donnie and Pam Yawn of Rhine, Daphine and Jerry McKenzie of Albany, and Polly and Nathan Rowe of Alamo; and several nieces and nephews.

Bright, died Monday, Jan. 17, 2005. She was the daughter of the late Lucas Silver and Lucille Bennett Silver and was married to Cleo C. Bright of Dublin.
She was a native of Towns in Telfair County and was of the Baptist faith and was retired from the City of Dublin Water Department.
In addition to her husband, survivors include her son, Billy Sellers; brothers, William Silver, C.H. Russell and Donnie Silver; sister, Eva Van Alstine; and several nieces and nephews.

Elizabeth ‘Betty’ Moore Coleman
Services for Elizabeth “Betty” Moore Coleman of Jacksonville, Fla., were held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 21 in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with interment in the Alamo Memorial Cemetery.

Coleman, died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2005. She was the daughter of the late Darrell and Lois Moore and the widow of Adrian Elwood Coleman.
She was a native of Watertown, Fla. and had lived in McRae for 15 years and then resided in Jacksonville, Fla. for one month.
Survivors include her sisters, Carolyn Seyler of Jacksonville, Fla., Irele Blanchard and Adele Moore, both of Ocala, Fla., and several nieces and nephews.

Catharine B. Monfort
Services for Catharine B. Monfort of McRae were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 14 in the chapel of Vaughn Funeral Home with interment in the Telfair Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Monfort, 84, died Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2005. She was the daughter of the late Wilburn B. and Martha Hindman Bradley.
She was a native of Palmetto and a member of McRae United Methodist Church. She was also a homemaker.
Survivors include her daughter, Janice Monfort of McRae; son, Franklin Monfort of McRae; sister, Mildred Brown of Helena; half-sisters, Bertha Nell Davis of Darien and Theola Diers of Dexter; and half-brother, Winston Bradley of Interlachen, Fla.

George Muncher Jr.
Services for George Muncher Jr. of Eastman were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 26 in Southerland Funeral Chapel in Eastman with interment in Brown Cemetery in Chauncey.
The Rev. Tony Howell officiated.
Muncher, 65, died Monday, Jan. 24, 2005 in Dodge County Hospital. He was the son of the late George Muncher Sr. and Alma Moore Jones.
He was a native of Dodge County, a retired Civil Service employee of Warner Robins Air Force Base and a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his daughter, Terri Reynolds of Eastman; sons, George Muncher III and Tom Muncher, both of Eastman; brother, Pete Moore of Alabama; companion, Joyce Dobbs of Eastman; and eight grandchildren.

George Wesley ‘G.W.’ Yawn
Services for George Wesley “G.W.” Yawn of Rhine were held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 22 at Rockwell Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery.

Yawn, 85, died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2005 at his residence. He was the son of the late John L. and Mary Weeks Yawn and was married to Juanita Lowery Yawn of Rhine.
He was a lifetime resident of Telfair County and was a retired farmer. He was a member and deacon of Rockwell Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, survivors include his sons, Jack (Eloise) Yawn, Wesley (Pauline) Yawn, and Hugh (Beth) Yawn, all of Rhine; sisters, Gussie Bowles of Lenora, N.C., and Susie Cravey of Milan; brother, J.B. Knight of Centerville; grandchildren, Wesley Yawn Jr., Janet Knowles, Paula Steverson, Tracy Clements, Dana Moncus, Hugh Yawn Jr., Jack Yawn Jr., and Jeremy Yawn, all of Rhine; great-grandchildren, Brad Steverson, Kristen Steverson, Brett Steverson, Kerry Knowles, Kyle Knowles, Kaleb Knowles, Wes Yawn, Rosie Kay Yawn and Carcy Clements.
