Mr. Wilson was born March 8, 1927, to the late Rev. and Mrs. Berry Wilson Sr.
Services were held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 27, 2003, graveside at Fleatown Cemetery, Climax, Ga., with the Elder C. Garland officiating.
Active pallbearers were friends of the family.
Survivors include his sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews and friends.

Mr. Robert C. Adams, 85, passed away May 13, 2003, at Grady General Hospital, Cairo, Ga.
Mr. Adams was born Dec. 24, 1917, in Quitman, Ga., to the late Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Adams. He attended Grady County public schools and was a member of the Greater New Corinth M.B. Church.
Services were held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 24, 2003, at Greater New Corinth M.B. Church with the Rev. James Bradshaw officiating. iIntermentfollowed at Crestview Cemetery, Cairo.
Active pallbearers were friends of the family.
Survivors include a son, Lannis Adams; a stepdaughter, Catherine Demps, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; a very devoted sister, Ms. Ossie Adams, Tampa, Fla.; a very devoted cousin, Lucile Davis, Cairo; a very devoted niece, Ozzie Ashley, Tampa; a very dear friend, Lynn Hunter, Cairo; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Mrs. Merlene Finney Griner, 65, passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2003, in Cairo, Ga.
Mrs. Griner was born March 19, 1938, in Grady County, Ga., to the late Preston Freeman and Agnes Dinkins Finney. She worked in office personnel with Gainous Agri Service and was a member of the Gordon Heights Baptist Church, Cairo.
Services were held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 22, 2003, at Gordon Heights Baptist Church, Cairo, with the Rev. John Paul Hasick and Rev. A.C. Gilliard officiating. iIntermentfollowed at Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo.

Mrs. Lessie G. Leslie, 87, passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2003, at Glenn-Mor Nursing Home, Thomasville, Ga.
Mrs. Leslie was born Oct. 25, 1915, in Grady County, Ga., to the late Walter H. and Ella Harrison Gilbert. She was married
to Frank Leslie, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Leslie was a dedicated homemaker and worked as a nurse. She had a passion for gardening and growing flowers. Mrs. Leslie was of the Baptist faith and attended Pineland Baptist Church.
Services were held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, May 23, 2003, at Clark Funeral Home Chapel, Cairo, with the Rev. Harold Thomaston officiating. iIntermentfollowed at Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo.
Active pallbearers were Leon Harrison, Rodney Willis, Ron Arline, William Bragg, Charles Champion and Steve Beckham.
Survivors include daughters, Mildred Moody, Bell, Fla., and Doris Wright, Anderson, Ind.; a son, Vernon Leslie, Thomasville, Ga.; 14 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great- grandchildren; brothers, Herbert Gilbert, Tampa, Fla., and Robert Gilbert, Oviedo, Fla.; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Leslie was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a son, Clarence Leslie; a grandson, David Gayland Wright; sisters, Neva Bell Shores and Lorette Willis; and brothers, Ernest Gilbert and Herman Gilbert.

SADIE SMITH

Mrs. Sadie B. Smith, 87, of Cairo, Ga., passed away May 19, 2003, at Grady General Hospital, Cairo.
Mrs. Smith was born in Grady County, Ga., Dec. 9, 1915, to the late Joe and Sadie Bell Smith. Mrs. Smith attended the Grady County public school system and was a member of the Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church.
Services were held at Saint Clair Primitive Baptist Church, Cairo, on Saturday, May 24, 2003, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Sylvester Williams and Elder Jimmy Simmons officiating. iIntermentfollowed at Crestview Cemetery, Cairo.
Active pallbearers were Greg Gurley, Michael Smith, Lewis Brown Jr., John I. Holt, Brandon Baker and John Young.

Mrs. Sweetie Mae Tully, 80, passed away Monday, May 26, 2003, at Grady General Hospital, Cairo, Ga.
Mrs. Tully was born Nov. 12, 1922, in Miller County, Ga., to the late Tony and Ema Cannon Daniel. She was currently residing at Pinewood Nursing Home, Whigham, Ga. Mrs. Tully was a dedicated homemaker and a member of the First Assembly of God.
Services were held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 28, 2003, at Clark Funeral Home Chapel, Cairo, with the Rev. Ronald Kirkland officiating. iIntermentwas held at Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo.
Active pallbearers were Matthew Cook, Bobby Cook, Billy Powell, Michael Cook, Kenneth Kelly and Gary Jones.
Survivors include sons, Jimmy Cook, Cairo, Ronnie Cook, Bainbridge, Ga., Charles Cook, Bainbridge, Ross Cook, Albany, Ga., and Ray Cook, Bainbridge; daughters, Marsha Gail Metze, Perry, Ga., and Syble Hatcher, Albany; and 13 grandchildren. Mrs. Tully was preceded in death by a son, D.F. Cook, and a daughter, Hilda Joyce Cook.

WALTER DAVIS

Mr. Walter Weyman (Wayne) Davis, 76, passed away July 28, 2003, at his place of residence in Cairo, Ga.
Mr. Davis was born in Whigham, Ga., Dec. 25, 1927, to the late Hugh L. and Mary Autry Davis. He was a lifetime resident of Grady County. Mr. Davis was a clerk with the U.S. Post Office, Cairo, for many years. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was of the Baptist faith.
Services were held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 30, 2003, at Clark Funeral Home Chapel, Cairo, with the Rev. Robert Crapps officiating. iIntermentfollowed at Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo.
Active pallbearers were nephews.
Survivors include his wife, Janelle Thompson Davis, whom he married
Jan. 2, 1953, Cairo; sons and daughters-in-law, Tracy W. and Denese Davis, Hahira, Ga., Walter Blair and Ginger Davis, Albany, Ga., and Tommy Lee Davis, Thomasville, Ga.; sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Dempsey Cain, Whigham; grandchildren, Shelby Davis, Morgan Davis and Emily Davis, all of Hahira, and Abigail Davis and Allison Davis, both of Thomasville. Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his brothers, Doug Davis and Ed Davis.

CATHERINE FOUNTAIN

Mrs. Catherine A. Fountain, 79, a retired auditor/processor for Aetna Insurance Co., passed away July 27, 2003, in Cairo, Ga.
After retirement Mrs. Fountain worked as a CNA. She was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Women’s Auxiliary and the Cairo Church of God.
Services were held at 11 a.m. on July 29, 2003, at the Cairo Church of God in Cairo with Pastor Dewayne Atkinson officiating. iIntermentfollowed at Greenwood Cemetery.
Active pallbearers included members of the Cairo Church of God softball team.
Honorary pallbearers were members of the Cairo Church of God Young At Heart Ministry.
Survivors include her husband, Lawrence A. Fountain, Cairo; sons, Allen Snowden, and wife, Lana, Cairo, and Willis T. Snowden, and wife, Louise, Cairo; brothers, William A. Pecor, Ocala, Fla., and Edward A. Pecor, East Hartford, Conn.; grandchildren, Grant Snowden, Steven Snowden and Susan Cook, all of Cairo, and Matthew Snowden, Augusta, Ga.; and three great-grandchildren. Mrs. Fountain was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Ellen Pecor, a brother, Roland Pecor, and her loving and faithful companion, Sandy.

DAVID GREENE

Mr. Raymond David Greene, 47, of Camilla, Ga., passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2003, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, Albany, Ga.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 25, 2003 at Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home with burial at Pebble City Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Brad Royal officiated.
Mr. Greene was born July 30, 1955, in Grady County, Ga. He was a former Marine and was currently employed by the Marine Corp. Logistics Base of Albany. He was a member of Providence Baptist Church of Whigham, Ga.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda McCook Greene of Camilla; a daughter, Camilla Elizabeth Greene of Camilla; his parents Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Greene of Jacksonville, Fla. and Ms. Iris Robertson of Cairo; a brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie and Dolly Greene of Jacksonville; two nieces, Jennifer and Melissa Greene, both of Jacksonville; two nephews, Joseph and Tyler Sharp of Camilla; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Beth and Mark Sharp of Camilla; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Lazelle and Yvonne McCook of Camilla.
