Mr. Sheffield was born Feb. 1, 1983, in Lakeland, Fla., to Daniel S. and Teresa Faye Hudson Sheffield. He was a carpenter (cabinet building) and a member of Midway Baptist Church, Cairo.

Mrs. Ozell Williams Singletary, 92, of Cairo, Ga., passed away at Grady General Hospital, Cairo, on Friday, Jan. 14, 2005.
Mrs. Singletary was born in Cairo on Aug. 4, 1912, to the late Nathan H. and Callie Johnson Williams. She was a lifetime resident of Cairo and a dedicated homemaker. Mrs. Singletary was a member of Midway Baptist Church, Cairo.

Mr. Charles H. Braswell, 66, of 3016 Hadley Ferry Rd., Cairo, Ga., passed away Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2005, at Grady General Hospital, Cairo, after an brief illness.
Mr. Braswell was born March 24, 1938, in Baxley, Ga., son of Rev. Hoke and Ella M. Shaw Braswell. He was married
to Lizzie Warren. He was retired from the New Jersey Transit Co. Mr. Braswell has lived in Grady County 11 years, moving here from Plainfield, N.J. Mr. Braswell attended Central High School, Waycross, Ga. He was a former member of the Shiloh Baptist Church, Plainfield, and a current member of First Baptist Church in Thomasville, Ga. He was affiliated with the Elks Mohawk Lodge #307, Plainfield, American Legion, Newark, N.J., Gospel Choir and Voices of Hope, a mentor of the Laymen’s Ministry, 21st Century Club, Deacon Board and Edith Hill Mission Circle.
Services were held at First Missionary Baptist Church, 110 W. Calhoun St., Thomasville, Ga., on Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2005, at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Dr. I.L. Mullins Sr. officiating. iIntermentfollowed at Crestview Cemetery, Cairo.
