Jeannine Holton Silvers
Jeannine Holton Silvers, 76, of the Lester Community, went to be with her Lord
and Savior on Friday, May 21, 2010 at her residence.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Sunday, May 23 at Spring Hill Free Will Baptist
Church with interment in the church cemetery. Rev. Charles Blanton and
Rev. Bruce Gordon will officiate.
Active pallbearers include Charles Holton, Tommy Holton, Henry Holton, Eddie
Wilson, Bryan Meeks, Mike Holwick, Ronnie Etheredge, and Jason Bateham.
Honorary pallbearers will be dear friends, Horace and Virginia Salter and Opal
Hatcher.
Born February 12, 1934 in Mitchell County, Mrs. Silvers was the daughter of
the late Arcie W. Holton, Sr. and Jewell Freeman Holton. She was an active
member of Spring Hill Free Will Baptist Church in the Lester Community for
the past 60 years, where she served as church clerk, adult Sunday school
teacher, and president of Women Active for Christ for many years. She was
preceded in death by two brothers, Otis Holton and Tracy Holton.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, James Silvers of the Lester
Community; one son, David Silvers & wife, Pat, of Baxley; a daughter, Melba
Washington Wishum & husband, Jerry, of Tifton; two sisters, Hazel H. Wilson
of Sale City and Jeanell Meeks of Camilla; two brothers, A. W. Holton, Jr. &
wife, Clarine, of Albany and Mervin Holton & wife, Bertha, of McDonough;
five grandchildren, Kelly S. Evans of Brooklet, Crystal S. Valtierra of Baxley,
Kimberly S. Boatright of Baxley, Melissa W. Cagle of Warner Robins, and
Todd P. Washington of the Lester Community; as well as four great
grandchildren who caused her heart to smile.
Visitation will be from 5 – 6:30 p.m., Saturday, May 22 at Parker-Bramlett
Funeral Home.

Paul Lamar Bledsoe, Sr.
Paul Lamar Bledsoe, Sr., 78, of Camilla, died Thursday, May 27, 2010 at Phoebe Putney
Memorial Hospital in Albany.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 31 at First Baptist Church in Camilla with
iIntermentin Pebble City Baptist Church cemetery with military honors. Rev. Rick Williams
will officiate.
Born July 25, 1931 in Dodge County, Mr. Bledsoe was the son of the late James Moten and
Mary Ethel Harrell Bledsoe. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, having served in the
Korean War. Mr. Bledsoe was a member of First Baptist Church of Camilla, the Camilla
Lions Club, and the Society of American Foresters. He worked with Georgia Forestry
Commission as District Forester for several years and was a local timber consultant.
Mr. Bledsoe had received his 50 year service award with the GA Forestry Commission.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Ann Bledsoe of Camilla; a son, Paul Lamar Bledsoe, Jr. &
wife, Christa, of Moultrie; two daughters, Dena Lott & husband, Rick, of Sale City and Paula
Brosz & husband, Robert, of Jacksonville, FL; a sister, Georgia Simmons of Moultrie; nine
grandchildren, Jade Lott, Mason Lott, Shelton Lott, Hunter Lott, Luke Brosz, Annie Brosz,
Alex Bledsoe, Reese Bledsoe, and Hayden Bledsoe.
Visitation will be from 5 - 8 p.m. Sunday, May 30 at the family’s residence, 2661Hwy 37,
Camilla.

Jeannine Everson Heard
Jeannine Everson Heard, 73, of Newton, died Friday, June 17,
2011 at her residence.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Monday, June 20 at Parker-
Bramlett Funeral Home with interment in Mt. Carmel Church
Cemetery.
Born January 7, 1938 in Miller County, Mrs. Heard was the daughter
of the late J. B. and Alice Sammons Everson. She was married
to
the late Bobby Wayne Heard. Mrs. Heard was a homemaker and a
member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Wendy Heard of Newton; two sons,
Chris Heard and wife, Carla, of Newton and Tim Heard and wife,
Becky, of Newton; three sisters, Wynette Weaver of Colquitt,
Eunice Everson of Colquitt, and Mildred Funderburke of Morgan;
three grandchildren, Brian Heard, Jenni Howard & husband, Jeffrey,
and Sabrina Presley & husband, Jesse; four great-grandchildren; a
niece, Donna Roland of Donalsonville; and a nephew, Dusty Avera
of Morgan.
Visitation will be from 2 – 3 p.m. Monday, June 20 at Parker-Bramlett
Funeral Home in Camilla.

Stella Mae Irvin Dorminey
Stella Mae Irvin Dorminey, 73, of Atlanta, died Monday, October 04,
2010 at Northside Hospital in Cumming, GA.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 6 at Travelers
Rest Free Will Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery.
Rev. Malcolm Parker and Rev. Harold Williams will officiate.
Born November 15, 1936 in Baker County, Mrs. Dorminey was the
daughter of the late Sam Jones and Effie Veda Irvin. She was a
homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by
brothers, Price Irvin, Paul Irvin, Herman Irvin, Dennis Irvin, and
Lawrence Irvin and a sister, Mildred Marrongelli.
Survivors include her husband, William Dorminey of Ball Ground, GA;
one daughter, Robbie Hudec & husband, Kevin, of Milton, GA; one
step-son, Keith Dorminey & wife, Carol, of Huntsville, AL; one step-
daughter, Kim Dorminey of Albany; two sisters, Virginia Parker of
Rhode Island and Joann Parker of Newton; a grandson, Eric Hudec of
Milton; a granddaughter, Shae Hudec of Milton; and six step-
grandchildren, Logan Dorminey, Lane Dorminey, Lawton Dorminey,
Luke Dorminey, Lindsey Dorminey, and Joanna Dorminey.
Visitation will be from 1 – 2 p.m. Wednesday, one hour prior to services,
at Travelers Rest Free Will Baptist Church in Newton.

Mary T. Hart
Mary Tatum Hart, 96, of Whigham, died Friday, July 30, 2010 at Pinewood
Nursing Center in Whigham.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Born January 12, 1914 in Grady County, Mrs. Hart was the daughter of the
late Henry Arthur and Annie Mae Corbin Tatum. She was married
to the late
Clarence Hart. Mrs. Hart was a retired nurse and seamstress. She was a
member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Pam Smith of Albany; three grandchildren, Johnny
Kerce, Jr. of Albany, Thomas L. Kerce of Albany, and Angela M. Kerce of
Albany; four great-grandchildren, Jennifer Kerce Peterman & husband, Matt,
Johnny “Trey” Kerce, III, Lauren Kerce, and Blake Kerce; one great-great
grandson, Keaton Peterman; and several nieces and nephews.
