Collins C. Cochran
Collins C. Cochran, 89, of Camilla, died Thursday, July 29, 2010 at Mitchell County
Hospital in Camilla.
Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday, July 31 at Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home with
iIntermentin Oakview cemetery with military honors. Rev. Lynn Roberts will officiate.
Pallbearers include Steven Cochran, Shannon Thompson, Cheyenne Thompson, Trampus
Thompson, Scott Raley, Bo Faircloth, and Derek Faircloth.
Born December 19, 1920 in Mitchell County, Mr. Cochran was the son of the late Mark
Underwood and Myrtle Kinney Cochran. He retired from the U. S. Army, after 20 years of
service. Mr. Cochran attended Branchville United Methodist Church. He was preceded in
death by his first wife, Carilu Swann Cochran; a sister, Peggy C. Cox; and three brothers,
Lavon Cochran, Harris Cochran, and Glenn Cochran.
Survivors include his wife, Inez M. Cochran of Camilla; one son, Mickey Cochran & wife,
Dannie, of Camilla; two grandchildren, Steven Cochran & wife, Ashley and Terri Bishop &
husband, Rusty; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Jo Jones & husband, Bobby, of
Camilla; one brother, Mark Cochran, Jr. & wife, Kathryn, of Interlachen, FL; five step-
children, Sandra Lightfoot & husband, Vernon, of Albany, Dewey E. Faircloth & wife,
Brenda, of Camilla, David Faircloth & wife, Donna, of Baconton, Lou F. Raley of Camilla,
and Billy V. Faircloth & wife, Ann, of Camilla; eight step-grandchildren, nine step-great
grandchildren, and one step-great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m., Saturday, one hour prior to services, at
Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home.

Terry Norris
Terry Norris, of Camilla passed away May 6, 2011 at his residence.
Graveside funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 8 at Pleasant
Hill Cemetery. Rev. Stephen Beck will officiate.
Born September 12, 1951 in Albany, Ga., Mr. Norris was the son of the
late Hilton and Dorothy Whitaker Norris. He was self employed and a
veteran of the United States Navy.
Survivors include a son, James Henry “Jamey” Norris & wife Kim of
Albany; sister, Susan Leverett of Camilla; brother, Ronnie Norris of
Camilla; grandson Lucas Allen, and several nieces and nephews.

Mary Frances Brock
Mary Frances Brock, 64, of Camilla, died August 9, 2010 at her
residence in Camilla.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 11 at Southside
Baptist Church with interment in Pinecrest Memory Gardens.
Rev. Neal Hager will officiate.
Born May 27, 1946 in Mitchell County, Mrs. Brock was the daughter of
the late Curtis Corbin, Sr. and Annie Belle Pollock Corbin. She was a
homemaker and a member of Southside Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Devon Brock of Camilla; two daughters,
Lori Ann Maxwell of Albany and Leslie Allison Harper & husband, Keith,
of Blakely; two sons, Matthew R. Maxwell of Albany and Jason Ronald
Maxwell of Albany; three step-sons, Riley Brock, Jr. & wife, Madge, of
St. Augustine, FL, Edward Lee Brock & wife, Melanie, of Thomasville,
and Kenneth Dewayne Brock & wife, Hope, of Newton; one step-
daughter, Teresa Ann Gravbelle & husband, David, of Thomasville; two
sisters, Betty Conley of Gainesville and Hazel Corbin of Camilla; thirteen
grandchildren, Ashley Boyd, Kristin Boyd, Brandon Boyd, Grace Boyd,
Emily Belle Harper, AshlynHarper, Everette Maxwell, Skyler Brock,
Derrick Brock, Justin Brock, Kristyn Brock, Michael Gravbelle, Shane
Gravbelle; and two great-grandchildren, Anna Belle Thornton and
Benjamin Brock.
Visitation will be from 6 – 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 10 at Parker-Bramlett
Funeral Home in Camilla.

Rena Mae Taylor, 74, of Pelham, died Wednesday, December 29, 2010
at her residence.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 31, 2010 at
Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home with interment in Union Cemetery.
Rev. Mike Newsome will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Rito Segura, Edward Hall, Hollis Taylor, Roman
Taylor, Josh Taylor and Woody Lee.
Born November 4, 1936 in Decatur County, Mrs. Taylor was a
homemaker and attended New Home Freewill Baptist Church #2.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward E. and Rosa Lee
Cumbie Newsome, brothers, Lynwood E. Newsome, Hilton E.
Newsome, James Newsome and a sister, Lois Pyles.
Survivors include her husband, Hollis Taylor of Camilla; a daughter,
Lisa Ann Hall of Pelham; sons, Emmett “Gene” Taylor and wife,
Teresa, of Camilla and Richard Lamar Taylor and wife, Donna, of
Camilla; a brother, Claude Newsome and wife Sylvia, of Colquitt;
seven grandchildren, Tracy Segura, Michael Edward Hall, Jr., Kalli
Hall, Joshua Taylor, Jordan Taylor, Hollis Taylor and Roman Taylor;
and 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Hazel Phillips Luckey
Hazel Phillips Luckey, 59, of Camilla, died Monday, May 9, 2011 at her
residence.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Born April 11, 1952 in Clearwater, Florida, she was the daughter of
Louis and Irene Beck Phillips. Mrs. Lucky was a homemaker. She
was preceded in death by her father and her daughter, Anna Marie
Herrin.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas Luckey of Camilla; sons,
Thomas Marvin Herrin of Florida, Billy Herrin of Albany, Bobby
Phillips of Albany and Phillip Jason Boyd Luckey of Camilla; her
mother, Irene Beck Phillips of Albany; a sister, Patricia Flowers of
Albany; brothers, Bobby Phillips of Albany, Raymond Phillips of
Albany and Jimmy Phillips of Florida; 8 grandchildren and one
great-grandchild.

Geraldine (Gerri) Harvey Hathcock, 73, died Monday,
June 20, 2011 at her residence in Baconton.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 22,
2011 at Parker Bramlett Funeral Home with interment in
Hartsfield Cemetery. Rev. Charles McCardle and Rev.
Alton Harper will officiate.
Born March 28, 1938 in Tarpon Springs, FL., Mrs.
Hathcock was the daughter of the late James L. Hancock
and Mary Waters Hancock. She was a retired secretary
for Mitchell EMC. She was preceded in death by
brothers, John Hancock, Wallace Hancock and James L.
(Jimmy) Hancock, Jr.
Survivors include her husband, Bernie Hathcock of
Baconton; daughters, Gail Kelly and husband, John, of
Putney, Cindy Carr and husband, Phil of the Greenough
community and Tarri Lynn Watson of Pelham; stepson,
Steve Hathcock and wife, Alice of Leesburg; brother, Gary
Mac Hancock of Moultrie, nine grandchildren, nine great-
grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at Parker
Bramlett Funeral Home.
