He is survived by his parents, Wanda and Dennis Atcheson, Don and Nancy Webb; daughter, Aubrey Webb; sister Donna and husband, Armando Arredondo and niece, Alexa; step sister, Denise and husband, Tryon Rosser and nephew, Gage; stepbrother, Robert and nieces, Sara and Samantha and nephew, Jesse; stepsister, Brooke and husband, Billy Hepler and nephews, Brock and Beau; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Marc graduated from Camden Military Academy in Camden, S.C., and attended the University of South Carolina on a soccer scholarship. He worked for Mooney Construction Company. He was a member of Snellville First Baptist Church and was looking forward to helping finish off the inside of the New Children's building.

A celebration of Marc's life will be held Saturday, July 22, 2006, at 2 p.m. at Wages Snellville Chapel.

The family will receive friends Saturday from one p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Floyd Lee Atkins

ALBANY — Floyd Lee Atkins, 76, of Albany, GA died Monday, August 14, 2006, at his son's residence, 5000 Van Cise Lane, Albany, GA.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 16, 2006, at Hillcrest Cemetery, Sylvester, GA with full military honors. The Rev. Chris E. Turner officiating.

Mr. Atkins was born September 16, 1929, in Portsmouth, OH. Floyd Lee Atkins was the son of the late Elmer Stephen Atkins, Sr. and Margaret Elizabeth Brown Atkins. Mr. Atkins was also preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Mary Mairs Atkins. He was a Retired M/SGT in the U.S. Air Force, a Vietnam veteran, a self-employed appliance repairman, and a member of the American Legion.

Survivors include his three sons, David and Jacki Atkins of Albany, GA, Derrell S. Atkins of Baconton, GA, and Dwain R. Atkins of Sylvester, GA; four brothers, Elmer Atkins Jr., Raymond Atkins, Dorsey Atkins and Phillip Atkins, all of Ohio; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Hall & Hall Funeral Home from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Tuesday, August 15, 2006.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Albany Community Hospice and/or the American Cancer Society.

The family will be at the residence of David and Jacki Atkins, 5000 Van Cise Lane, Albany, GA.

ALBANY — Thomas Jenks Jr., 89, of 701 Don Cutler Sr. Dr. died Friday, August 11, 2006, at Palmyra Medical Centers.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, August 16, 2006, at First Mount Olive Baptist Church with burial in Floral Memory Gardens. The Rev. Gary C. Sanders will officiate.

A native of Dougherty County, Mr. Jenks was retired from Lykes Brothers Packing Company and a member of First Mount Olive Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Lamar Jenks of Albany; three sons, Edward Colbert, Robert Colbert and Gerry (Regina) Whearry; three daughters, Patricia (Johnny) Gillison, Vonzie Harris and Gwendolyn (Johnny) Boone; stepdaughter, Annie Ruth Clay; a brother, Andrew "AJ" (May Ella) Jenks; a sister, Georgia May Banks; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

ALBANY — The service of Vivian McKinnon Lofton, 76, of 120 Greer Lane, Albany, GA who died Sunday, August 13, 2006, will be conducted Wednesday, August 16, 2006, at 2 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. The Rev. Billy Hanna will officiate. iIntermentwill follow in Blakely City Cemetery.

A native of Early County, Mrs. Lofton had resided in Albany for fifty five years. She retired from Albany Urology as an X-ray technician. She was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church and a member of Christian Laborers Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husband, William R. (Bill) Lofton.

Survivors included: two daughters, Cecelia Bailey of Albany, Wendy Walker of Nashville, TN; four grandchildren, Rosalyn Horne of Lee County, Emily Walker, Katherine (Katie) Walker and Elijah Walker, all of Nashville, TN; four great-grandchildren, Robbie Horne, Randy Horne, Chase Horne and Reid Horne, all of Lee County.

Family will receive friends Tuesday 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.

ALBANY — The funeral service of Imogene Brady Pressley, 69, of 771 Stocks Dairy Rd., Leesburg, GA, who went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 13, 2006, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital will be conducted Wednesday, August 16, 2006, at 10 a.m. at Philema Road Baptist Church. Rev. Dan Harris and the Rev. A.B. Stroud will officiate will officiate. iIntermentwill follow at Leesburg Cemetery.

A native of Franklin County, GA, Mrs. Pressley had resided in Lee County, GA, for the past twenty nine years moving from Hamilton, MS. She was a homemaker and was employed at Fritex as an inspector until its closing. She was a member of the Golden Key Club and a member of Philema Road Baptist Church. She was instrumental in the welfare and care of her brother-in-law, Henry (Curley) Pressley. She loved her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and nieces and nephews.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Pressley; five sons, William Blake Pressley and his wife, Neta, Kendell Wayne Pressley and his wife, Lisa, David Michael Pressley and his wife, Beverly, all of Lee County, GA, George Randell Pressley and Timothy Edward Pressley and his wife, Roxanna, all of Sasser, GA; three daughters, Louise Gail Vanzant and her husband, Charles of Lee County, GA, Glenda Jean Erickson and husband, Paul of Tallahassee, FL, Carol Helen Garner and her husband, Mark of Lee County, GA; a brother, Randy Brady of Crossraods, SC; a sister, Margaret Chapman of Orange, TX; and thirteen grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home.

Michael Deane Slaymaker

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. — Michael Deane "Mike" Slaymaker, age 62, of St. Augustine, died Friday, August 11, 2006, at Flagler Hospital. He was born in Alexandria, VA, and was a longtime resident of Albany, GA. He had resided in St. Augustine since early this year, moving here from Destin, FL. Mr. Slaymaker worked as a chemical engineer for Merck Pharmaceutical Company for over 30 years.

Private services will be held.

Mr. Slaymaker is survived by a daughter, Margaret Buttram of Centerville, OH; sons, Michael Deane Slaymaker II of Albany, GA, Christopher Lopatin Slaymaker of Athens, GA; a brother, Van Slaymaker of Alexandria, VA; and 2 grandchildren.

PELHAM — Reggie "Cleve" Bostick Jr., 22, of 611 GA Hwy 97, Camilla (Hopeful Community), died Sunday, August 13, 2006, in Mexico Beach, Fla.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hopeful Baptist Church with interment in Hopeful Cemetery. Dr. Dean Register, Dr. Harris Malcom and the Rev. Ronnie Kinsaul will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Joseph Rackley, David Griner, Clay Powell, Mark Adams, Daniel Morell, Matt Lane and David Phelps.

Born May 25, 1984 in Albany, GA, to Reggie and Jenny Bostick, Mr. Bostick graduated from Westwood High School in 2002. He was a farmer and a student at the University of Georgia where he was a member of KA fraternity. He was a member of Hopeful Baptist Church.

Survivors include his parents, Reggie and Jenny Bostick of Camilla; sister, Kiley Bostick of New York; paternal grandmother, Dera Mae Bostick of Hopeful; maternal grandparents, Tim and Derene Giddens of Adel.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Pete Bostick.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Covey Rise Plantation, (3929 River Road, Camilla, GA) in the Hopeful Community.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to the Cleve Bostick Scholarship Fund c/o Bank of Camilla, P.O. Box 111, Camilla, GA 31730.
