Mr. Jessie W. Radford, 98, of Camilla, Georgia passed away on Monday, September 6, 2010 at the Camilla Retirement Village in Camilla, Georgia. Born on February 5, 1912 in Covington County, Alabama to the late John Sanford and Della Florence Sanders Radford, he was a master electrician and a member of the First Baptist Church of Pelham. He was married
to the former Mary Era Owen, who preceded him in death. Mr. Radford was also a member of the Pelham Masonic Lodge #312, Smith-Spence American Legion Post #144, William T. Flynt Chapter #303 Order of the Eastern Star, as well as the secretary for the Sunday School of the First Baptist Church of Pelham for many years where he also served as a deacon. Mr. Radford was a WWII veteran of the United States Navy.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. Kim Grueser and Rev. Carl Stokes will officiate the services. Active pallbearers will be Harry Radford, Charles Palmer, Ronnie Palmer, Michael Radford, Hugh Laing, Brian Cochran, John Broadaway and Drew Broadaway. iIntermentwill follow at Pinecrest Memory Gardens in Pelham, GA. Honorary pallbearers will be the deacons of the First Baptist Church of Pelham.

Mrs. Evelyn Pauline Smith of Ochlocknee passed away at Pelham Parkway Nursing Home in Pelham on Friday, September 3, 2010. She was 89. Born in Ochlocknee, GA on Aril 22, 1921, she was a retired secretary of the US Government at the Pentagon. She was a daughter of the late Willie L. Smith and Carrie Bell McClellan and a member of Mizpah Primitive Baptist Church.
The funeral services for Ms. Smith will be held on Sunday, September 5, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at Mizpah Baptist Church. iIntermentwill be in the church cemetery and Rev. Dennis Norman will officiate. Earl Smith, Charles Smith, Gary Smith, Pat Smith, Blake Smith and Jim Thompson will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be held an hour before the funeral at Mizpah Primitive Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Springhill Christian Church. Pastor Carl Garrison, assisted by Rev. Doug Hall, will officiate the services. Funeral Services for Peter Frank Palmer will be held on Sunday, August 1, 2010 at 11:00 graveside at Pelham City Cemetery. The Rev. Skeeter Weeks will officiate. No formal visitation will be held.

Born on November 10, 1946 in Colquitt County, Georgia to the late Rufus and Lorene Edward Davis, he was a farmer. Revis was a member of the Hinsonton Baptist Church and was Farmer of the Year for the Pelham Chamber of Commerce. He is survived by his wife Betty Braswell Davis of Pelham, Georgia, daughter Ashley Davis of Pelham, Georgia, son Rusty Davis and wife Jordana, of Hinsonton, Georgia, grandchildren Drake Davis, Braswell Davis, Rusty Davis and Riley Davis, all of Hinsonton, Georgia, brothers Charles Davis and wife, Mary Lou, of Hinsonton, Georgia and Jimmy Davis and wife, Martha Jane, of Camilla, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Born on February 24, 1935 in Merrillville, Georgia to the late George and Annie Bell Leggett Wood, he was Baptist by faith and a mechanic for Sunnyland Foods. He is survived by his wife, Mary Frances Wood of Meigs, Georgia, son Donald Wood of Graceville, Florida, daughters Kim Holmes and husband, Lamar, of Altha, Florida, Charlene Hancock and husband, Darrell, of Meigs, Georgia, Kathy Wood of Climax, Georgia, stepsons Scott Johnson of Meigs, Georgia, Eric Johnson of Valdosta, Georgia, nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, three brothers and two sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson Ryan Golden, four sisters and one brother. No formal visitation will be held. A memorial service will be conducted on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Jamerson Funeral Home chapel in Pelham, Georgia with Rev. Lem Joiner and Rev. Mike Nichols officiating.

Fulghum and the late Jean Maxwell Fulghum, she was a homemaker. Ms. Fulghum believed in God and she loved sports, politics, cooking and her dogs. She is survived by her father Byron G. Fulghum of Reynoldsville, Georgia, brothers Grady Fulghum and wife, Gail, of Damascus, Georgia, Byron C. Fulghum of Moultrie, Georgia, Brent Fulghum of Reynoldsville, Georgia, half-sister Wendy Bryant of Ty Ty, Georgia, beloved companion of 35 years Candy Willis of Pelham, Georgia, nieces and nephews Cadie Dukes, Jenna Rathel, Lindsey Fulghum, Ashley Fulghum, Adam Fulghum, Amanda Fulghum and Andrew Fulghum and numerous friends. The family wishes to say a special "thank you" to the employees of Hospice of Southwest Georgia. She was preceded in death by her mother Jean Maxwell Fulghum. There will be no formal visitation. Mrs. Cornelia May Eubanks passed away on October 8, 2010 at her home in Mitchell County, Georgia. Born on July 14, 1928, in Thomasville, Georgia, she is preceded in death by her parents, Carlie Denton May and Beulah Roberts May, her two infant brothers and a son, Joseph Lebron Eubanks. She is survived by her husband of sixty-one years, John Leonard Eubanks of Mitchell County, Georgia, a son, John Denton Eubanks of Boston, Massachusetts, and a son, James Keaton Eubanks and wife, Tina McDonald Eubanks of Mitchell County, Georgia. Other survivors include her sister, Louise May Pope of Lexington, Virginia, her niece, Debby Pope Beckley and her husband, Harlan of Lexington, Virginia, and her nephew James Pope and his wife Cathy of Downingtown, Pennsylvania. As a 1949 graduate of Huntington College in Montgomery, Alabama, she returned to Mitchell County and became a civic leader in her community, a long time member of the Pelham Garden Club, and was actively involved with children's educational activities in the Pelham schools. Music was her passion and from the age of 13, she participated in the music program of the Hand Memorial United Methodist Church and was a member of the choir.

Funeral services will be held at the Hand Memorial United Methodist Church in Pelham, Georgia on Monday, October 11, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Michael Finn and Rev. Keith Goodlett officiating. iIntermentwill follow in Pinecrest Memory Gardens. The memorial service for Mrs. Hickey will be held on Thursday, October 28, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home in Pelham, Georgia. The family will receive friends after the memorial service. Mrs. Hickey is survived by her son, Allen Hickey of Pelham, Georgia and grandchildren, Jessica Hickey and Dakota Hickey, both of Pelham, Georgia.
