Rev. David Mathews presiding assisted by The Rev. Dr. Nathaniel Irvin, Sr. and Rev. Joseph Williams. Interment in Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Dallas was a life-long resident of the North Augusta area. She was a member of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church where she participated in the Decorating and Birthday Ministry. Mrs. Dallas was a retired Nurse at the University Hospital with 26 years of service. She was the Queen of the Elegant Delights Red Hat Society.
Survivors include her daughters, Rechelle Elaine Dallas, Beech Island and Robbie Latrell Dallas, Augusta: her special friend, Milton Jones, Sr.
Pallbearers will be Robert Lee Madison, Eddie Madison, Jack Elam, Bobby Elam, Eddie Lee Madison and Pierre Cale.

Mrs. Knight was a native of Cobbtown, Georgia having made North Augusta her home for the past 19 years. She was a kind and caring person who always worked to help others and gave of her time and talents to benefit those around her. Mrs. Knight was an active supporter Midland Valley Athletics and was a member of Connors Baptist Church, Cobbtown, Georgia.
Survivors include her husband of 20 years Richard Knight; a son, Christopher Knight, Allendale, SC; a daughter and son-in-law, Tiffany and Tim Walker, Lexington, SC; two sisters and brothers-in-law, June and David DeLoach, Bellville, GA and Joyce and Leonard Collins, Hilton Head Island, SC; three grandchildren, Thomas Walker, Tyler Walker and Tanner Walker; two nephews, Grant DeLoach and Clay Collins; a niece, Dana Meyer; her father-in-law, Clyde Knight; a brother-in-law and his wife, Michael and Debbie Knight.

Mrs. Hardy was a native of Sylacauga, Alabama having made Jackson her home. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jackson. Mrs. Hardy was predeceased by her husband,
LTC George Hardy, Jr. USA Ret, her son, George Steven Hardy and her daughter, Mary Carol Rule.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Allen and Ida Sue Hardy, Jackson; five grandchildren, Tracy Carrier, David Hardy, Nancy Hardy, Lee Rule and Chris Rule; three great grandchildren, Sheridan Carrier, Danielle Carrier and Ethan Hardy.

Jackson, SC—Graveside Services for Mrs. Mary Youngblood Mills, 75, of Jackson, SC, who entered into rest October 5, 2010, will be conducted Friday afternoon at 4 o’clock in the Jackson Memorial Cemetery. Rev. Gene Aiken officiating.
Mrs. Mills was a native of Twin City, Georgia, having made Jackson her home for the past 57 years. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church, a former Sunday School Teacher, Brownie and Girl Scout Leader and Cheerleader Sponsor. Mrs. Mills attended Emanuel County Institute in Twin City. She was a former employee of Owens Corning Fiberglass in Aiken and a retired retail clerk with 15 years of service with Sears at 15th and Walton Way in Augusta. Mrs. Mills was predeceased in death by her husband, Mr. Johnny Haywood Mills and dearly loved her grandchildren and all children.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, James E. and Jeannine Mills, Jackson; a daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Raven Mason, III, Jackson; five grandchildren, Jerry H. Hartline, Jr., Stella Crosby, Gene Redd, Amy McLain and the late Abigail Mills; six great grandchildren; three brothers, Robert Youngblood, Murfreesboro, TN, Donnie Youngblood, Twin City, GA and Ronnie Youngblood, Swainsboro, GA.

William Lewis Gray
March 25th, 1921 - September 30th, 2010
Aiken, SC---Funeral Services for Mr. William Lewis Gray, 89, beloved husband of Mrs. Janet Gould Gray, of Aiken, SC, who entered into rest September 30, 2010, will be conducted Monday afternoon at 1 o’clock from Fairview Presbyterian Church. Dr. G. Daniel McCall officiating. Interment in Pineview Memorial Park with Masonic Rites.
Mr. Gray was a native of Amsterdam, Ohio, a North Augusta resident for 57 years, having made Aiken his home for the past 12 years. A son of the late Willard and Jenniemay Mullen Gray, Mr. Gray served four years in the Army Corps of Engineers in the European Theater of Operations during World War II, and was discharged as a Captain in 1946. He was a graduate of The Ohio State University with a BS in Chemical Engineering in 1948. He began to work for E.I. DuPont Company in Cleveland, OH and moved to North Augusta in 1953 to continue work for the DuPont Company at the Savannah River Plant as a Senior Supervisor in the Reactor Department until his retirement in 1983.
Mr. Gray was an Ordained Elder at Fairview Presbyterian Church. He served as a City Councilman in North Augusta for 26 years, served on the Board of Directors for the North Augusta Chamber of Commerce and the Business Assistance Network of the Business and Technology Center. Mr. Gray also served as Secretary of the Horse Creek Valley Public Service Commission and as a member of the Aiken County Public Service Commission. He was a member of the Acacia Masonic Lodge # 315 AFM and was a former coach of youth football, basketball and baseball. Mr. Gray was an avid fan of The Ohio State University Buckeyes.
Survivors, in addition to his beloved wife of 61 years, Janet Gould Gray, include ; two daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy and Robert Hiers, West Palm Beach, FL and Ginger and Frank Stroman, Union Mills, NC; two sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Joan Gray, Atlanta, GA and Rob and Amy Gray, Aiken, SC; seven grandchildren, William Hiers, Sara Hiers, Andrew Hiers, Janet Stroman, Mark Stroman, Katie Gray and Jennie Gray; two great grandchildren, Tyler Hiers and Grayce Stoman; one brother and sister-in-law, Gordon and Joan Gray, Kent, OH; a special niece, Denise Gray.
Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Acacia Masonic Lodge #315 AFM.

Mrs. Lamb was a life-long resident of North Augusta, a member of Ghents Branch Baptist Church and a member of the Sixty Plus Seniors Club. She was a giving person who was known to reach out and help anyone in need. Mrs. Lamb was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E. Lamb.
Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Shelia and Scott Hanna, North Augusta and Betty Duskin, Augusta; three grandchildren, Thomas Duskin, Jennifer Marshall and Melissa Perry; three great-grandchildren, Ky Marshall, Mya Marshall and Torianno Echols.

Mrs. Wood was a resident of Cordele, Georgia, a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Cordele, GA for most of her life. However, nine years ago she moved to the North Augusta-Augusta area to be close to her daughter.

LTC Charles L. Lamke, USA Ret.

North Augusta, SC—Funeral Services for LTC Charles L. Lamke, USA, Ret., 73, of Green Forest Drive, North Augusta, SC, who entered into rest September 21, 2010, will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Posey Funeral Chapel. Rev. Dan Brown and Rev. Greg Hatfield officiating. Interment will be Friday afternoon at 1 o’clock in the Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, GA, with Full Military Honors.
LTC Lamke was a native of New Underwood, South Dakota, having made North Augusta his home for the past 34 years. He was an active member of Trinity On The Hill United Methodist Church, attended the Adult Couples and Singles Sunday School Class, served as a lifetime Usher and Coordinator of Super Saturday Ministry, and was a member of North Augusta Country Club. LTC Lamke was retired from the U.S. Army as a Microbiologist with 25 years of service, a Veteran of the Vietnam War, where he was honored with many Commendations for Meritorious Service. He then retired from the Medical College of Georgia in Biological and Chemical Safety after 20 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emmanuel and Leta Lamke and his sister, Ruby Ellerton.
Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Janet Lamke; three daughters and sons-in-law, Jenene and Steven Craig, Loganville, GA, Charlene and James McGrath and Jennifer and Robert Peer, all of Lawrenceville, GA; eleven grandchildren; two brothers, Wayne Lamke, Granbury, TX, and Donald Lamke, Santa Rosa, CA; a sister Ople Jorgenson, Worland, WY.
His family will remember him for his sense of optimism and humor which he maintained even in his final hours. He was an exceptionally gifted man in his passions for woodworking projects and golf. The discipline and patriotism LTC Lamke learned in his service in the Army never left him. Throughout his years of illness he maintained an inspirational positive outlook guided by his strong faith.

Robert L. "Dr. Bob" Rush

Augusta, GA—Memorial services for Mr. Robert L. “Dr. Bob” Rush, 55, of Augusta, GA, who entered into rest September 16, 2010 will be conducted Tuesday evening at 6 o’clock in the Posey Funeral Chapel.
Mr. Rush was a life-long resident of the Harrisburg Community, and was a 1974 graduate of the Academy of Richmond County. He loved music, radio, reading and was a person who never met a stranger and always had a smile on his face. Mr. Rush first began working in radio at the age of 15 and worked as an assistant engineer for several stations including WBBQ, Sunny 105 and WAUG. He also worked at Thomkins Music, Franklin Music, MCG and Family Dollar.
Mr. Rush is survived by numerous close friends whom he considered family, and special friends at heart, Norma Lee, Bryan Boden, Joey Styron, Emma “Oma” Shirley, Eddie and Leslie Carroll and Earl and Yvette Welsh.

Mr. Sease was a native of California, a former resident of Thomson, GA, having made Warrenville his home for the past year. He retired from the U.S. Navy with 24 years of service and was a Veteran of the Vietnam War and the Korean Conflict. Mr. Sease was a Navy Diver and broke several Bell Dive records. Mr. Sease was an owner/operator truck driver for over 20 years. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who was known to be a fun-loving person. Mr. Sease was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
