Edwin & Judy Joyner of Jackson, GA, Michael L. & Cindy Joyner of Fayetteville, and Randall L. & Deborah Joyner of Gainesville, GA; 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; sister Margie & Jack Gunter of College Park as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday, November 17, 2006 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
John Moody
John Moody, 64, of Grantville, GA diedNovember 14, 2006. Mr. Moody was a Vietnam Veteran having proudly served in the US Army. Mr. Moody was preceded in death by his parents Harris Nathaniel Moody and Gladys Mary (Mills) Moody. He is survived by his sister Linda and David McGinnis of McDonough and nephew Donald McGinnis and niece Denise Shelton both of McDonough.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 PM at Carl J. Mowell & Son Chapel. iIntermentwill follow at Camp Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until the time of the service.

Pritchett officiating. iIntermentwill be Saturday Nov. 18 at 2 PM CST Green Valley Cemetery in Owens Crossroads, AL. Mr. Walls remains will be placed instate at Big Cove Holliness Church, Owens Crossroads, AL at 11 AM CST Saturday.

Mr. Rhonda Williams
Mr. Rhonda Paul Williams, of Fayetteville, diedNovember 17, 2006. Mr. Williams was a member of Lisbon Baptist Church, a member of Davidson Lodge and a Shriner. He retired from Georgia Power in 1989 after 29 years of service. He loved to camp, golf and work with wood.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years Mrs. Mickey Williams. He is also survived by his daughter Robin and David Bullard of Newnan; his grandchildren whom he loved dearly, Haleigh and Benjamin; his brothers Howard Williams of Murfreesboro TN and Gene and Ruby Williams of Brooks, GA; brother-in-law Jack and Patsy Lowe of Fayetteville, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 19, 2006 at 2:00 PM at Lisbon Baptist Church, with remains placed in state at 1:30 PM. Rev. Randall Harris and Rev. Bill Priester will officiate. Burial will follow at Lisbon Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.

Mrs. Eleanor Alice Stubbs
Eleanor Alice Stubbs, 78, of Fayetteville passed away November 19, 2006. Mrs. Stubbs was preceded in death by her husband H. E. McKown and a sister Sally Avera. Survivors include sisters; Evelyn Wallace of Fayetteville, and Ruby Kitchens of Ocilla, Ga. Nephews; Roger Wallace, and David Avera, nieces; Jennifer Reese, Teri Garner, Elaine Paul, Alicia Handley, Karen Wilson, and Ramona Harrell.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at Camp Memorial Park with Rev. Wally Woodcock officiating the family will receive friends Monday 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Harriet Bradshaw
Harriet McKenzie Bradshaw, 66 of Peachtree City, GA. diedon November 19, 2006 with complications from cancer. Mrs. Bradshaw was bornin Atmore, Alabama and attended public schools in Atmore and Jackson, Alabama. She attended the University of Montevallo and graduated from Auburn University in 1962 with a B.S. in Education. She was a member of numerous organizations including Delta Delta Delta Sorority and performed with the traveling Auburn Players Drama Group while at Auburn.
She worked as a classroom teacher and Special Reading Teacher in the DeKalb County Schools where she was an active member of the DeKalb Association of Educators and a founding member of the Professional Association of Georgia Educators (PAGE). She was a member of the International Reading Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development and the National Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development.
Mrs. Bradshaw attended graduate school at the University of Georgia on a teaching Assistantship and received a Masters Degree in Teaching and Reading. Her responsibilities in the Reading Department included being a demonstration teacher of remedial and corrective reading and evaluating Children with severe reading disabilities that were referred to the University Reading Clinic.
She was widely recognized for her expertise in instruction and was active with the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) in the school accreditation process. She served on several state and local SACS Committees including the outside Visiting Committee that evaluated and recommended initial accreditation of Fayette County Elementary Schools in 1975.
Harriet Bradshaw was an active member of the honor education society Alpha Delta Kappa (ADK) from 1975-1985. During that time she was on several ADK Committees and served two terms as Treasurer of the organization.
She was an active member of the Women’s Chamber of Commerce of Atlanta in the late 70’s and early eighties serving on the Star Student Reception Committee, the Urban Life Committee, and the Dogwood Festival Committee.
Mrs. Bradshaw is a Patron member of the Atlanta High Museum of Art and a former member of the Freedoms Foundation of Valley Forge Organization. She helped organize and chaperone two groups of honor high school students who attended a series of classes in Washington, D.C. and Valley Forge, PA. She also served on the Freedoms Foundation Board of Directors, was Youth Committee Chairperson and worked with the annual Tour of Homes.
She was a leader in the Georgia-Pernambuco Partners of the Americas organization instituted by President Jimmy Carter and his wife Rosalyn when he was Governor of Georgia. The organization sponsored an annual exchange between Recife, Brazil and Atlanta, Georgia. Mrs. Bradshaw was on the Board of Directors, hosted Brazilian visitors, and traveled to Brazil during one of the earlier exchanges. President Carter’s widely known Friendship Force implemented nationally during his presidency was modeled after the Georgia organization that Harriet Bradshaw helped nurture and succeed.
Active in the United Methodist Church for more than 40 years, she was a Sunday School Teacher, Vacation Bible School Teacher, Education Committee Chair, and a member of the Council on Ministries, Administrative Board, and Stewardship Committee of the Dunwoody United Methodist Church. She was also active in the United Methodist Women, the Prayer Ministry, and in the Interpreter’s Sunday School Class. Since moving to Peachtree City and joining the Peachtree City United Methodist Church, Mrs. Bradshaw has served as Vice Chair of the United Methodist Women, President of Naomi Circle, and taught bible study in the Grits and Grace Program in Peachtree City assisted living homes. She is survived by her husband Scott Bradshaw of Peachtree City, and daughter Kathryn L. Bradshaw of Peachtree City.
