Mathew Elakatt, 82, of Lilburn, GA, formerly of Fayetteville, diedOctober 28, 2006. He was preceded in death by his wife Achukutty Elakatt. He is survived by his sons Thomas Elakatt of Lilburn, Joseph Elakatt of Lilburn, and Simon Elakatt of Chicago; daughters Mary Kutty Puthenmadthil of White Plains, NJ and Sheeba Cheruseril of Savage, MN; 14 grandchildren and brothers John Elakatt and Joseph Elakatt both of Chicago.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Carl J. Mowell & Son, Peachtree City with Father Joseph Mullackara officiating. The interment will follow at Westminster Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 9:00 PM with the Prayer Service at 8:30 PM.

Deborah Alexander
Mrs. Deborah Alexander, 51, of Fayetteville, diedOctober 30, 2006. She was the founding owner of Key West Tan in Fayetteville. She also specialized in the medical records and office management fields. She was an avid lover of horses as a child. Her true joy and pleasure were her grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and friend who will be deeply missed.
She was preceded in death by her brother Ronald Taylor. She is survived by her husband Mike Alexander of Fayetteville, daughter Dawn Gibson of Fayetteville, grandchildren Kayla Slinkard, Bailey Slinkard, and Reed Gibson, mother Pat Taylor of Fayetteville, grandfather Lt. Col. (Ret.) Clifford Radcliffe of Fayetteville, and stepson Jason Alexander of New Jersey.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 1, 2006 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.

He is survived by his son’s Charles (Phyllis) Coppolino, Jr. of Fayetteville and Michael (Linda) Coppolino of Snellville; grandchildren Angela (Hal) Brodnax of Newnan, Renee (Keith) Keroack of Atlanta, Andy (Ashley) Coppolino of Sugar Hill and Lisa Coppolino of Milledgeville; great-grandchildren Sara Mae Brodnax and Henry Brodnax of Newnan; sister Domenica Coppolino of Morrow and brother Tony (Margie) Coppolino of Fayetteville. Roy Stockard, 86, of Fayetteville diedNovember 6, 2007. He retired from Ford Motor Co. after 35 years service. He is survived by his wife Edna McEwen Stockard; step sons Alan and Elvina McEwen and Mark and Beth McEwen; grandchildren Michael & David, Amanda and Kelly McEwen.

James Warren
Mr. James E. Warren of Peachtree City passed away October 26, 2007. Mr. Warren was bornin Franklin, TN, and had moved to Peachtree City from Fairfax, VA several years ago. He was a graduate of Vanderbilt University and was a retired Captain with the Public Health Service and was a Bio-engineer with the Food and Drug Administration. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Gayle Warren of Peachtree City; children, Tamara Warren of New York, Tracy Warren of Lenoir City, TN; brothers, Bill Warren of Peachtree City and Raymond Warren of Franklin, TN.
Memorial services will be held Thursday Nov. 8 at 2:30 PM in the chapel of Carl J. Mowell & Son with Military Honors provided by the U. S. Navy. Rev. Chuck Hodges will officiate. The family will receive friends between the hours of 1:30 and 2:30 PM Thursday at the funeral home.

Donnell Bender
Mr. Donnell I. Bender, age 72, of Peachtree City, GA and pompano Beach, FL diedin Atlanta on November 3, 2007. Born and raised in Dearborn, MI, Mr. Bender graduated with a B.A. and M.A degrees in education and psychology from Michigan State University. He worked as a School Psychologist for the Grand Rapids Public Schools, in Michigan, until his retirement in 1994. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Janet; son, Kevin and Mary Grace Bender of Peachtree City, and their two children, Jacob and Malia; daughter, Diane Bender and husband Brian Twet of Mesa, AZ.
Mr. Bender loved hearing his grandchildren call him “Poppie”. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, Jim (Cecile) Dubois and son, Jack of Los Angeles, CA; aunt, Frances Bender of Patton, PA; uncle, Dr. Paul Bender of Hyattsville, MD, cousins, Carmen Bender, Maureen Bender, Paul (Christine) Bender, Janet Thomas and many friends in Michigan, Florida and Georgia.
Funeral mass will be held Wednesday Nov. 7 at 11 AM at Holy Trinity Catholic church with Father Jimmy Adams officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home between the hours of 5 and 7 PM Tuesday with a Christian Wake service at 6:30 PM. Mr. Bender will be cremated and his remains interred in Florida. In lieu of flowers, the family request, contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 135 Bradford Square Suite B, Fayetteville, GA 30215.
