Mr. Wallace Wilkins
Mr. Wallace A. Wilkins of Senoia diedDecember 15, 2007. Mr. Wilkins was preceded in death by his wife, Eunice. He is survived by his sons, Scott Wilkins and his wife Janet of Athens; Wayne Wilkins of Senoia; Grandchildren, Rachel Claire Wilkins and Taylor Scott Wilkins, both of Houston Texas; Sister Roselind Drage and her husband Donald of Salt Lake City, Utah; nieces and nephews. James D. (Jim) Care
Mr. James D. (Jim) Care of Peachtree City passed away December 17, 2007. He was a veteran of Viet Nam having served in the United States Marines and was a member of the Southern Nights Chorale Group. Mr. Care was a pilot for Eastern Airlines for 26 years and he retired from Delta Airlines as a Flight Dispatcher with 14 years of service. Most recently Mr. Care had worked with Talbot State Bank in Peachtree City. He is survived by his wife of 40 years Denise M. (Denny) Care of Peachtree City; children, Cathy Vivanco of Cumming, GA, Maggie Bennett of Gainesville, GA, Carolyn Taraboletti of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, Danny Care of Smyrna, GA; grandchildren, Alex, Abbey, Mac, Harper, Adrian, James, Joe, Anna, Oliver; sister, Susan Hollis of Cherokee Village, AR; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday December 21 at 2 PM in the chapel of Carl J. Mowell & Son with Rev. Bob Tyler officiating. iIntermentwill follow at Westminster Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends between the hours of 6 and 8 PM Thursday at the funeral home.

Jane V. Chapman
Mr. Jane Vick Chapman of Peachtree City passed away December 18, 2007.
Mrs. Chapman attended Vanderbilt University where she met her husband, Bill Chapman.
She was preceded in death by her husband William W. (Bill) Chapman and a son, Richard W. Chapman.
She is survived by her sons, John T. Chapman of Byron, NY, Jerry W. Chapman of Loganville, GA, Chris Chapman of Senoia, GA; six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; nephew, Matthew V. Ingram of Lilburn, GA.
Memorial services will be held Thursday December 20, which is Mr. and Mrs. Chapman’s 66th wedding anniversary, at 6 PM in the chapel of Carl J. Mowell & Son with Dr. David Miller officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service.

Jean Rowe Stinson
Jean Rowe Stinson, age 94, diedThursday, March 13, 2008, at Roman Court Assisted Living Center in Rome, Georgia.
Mrs. Stinson was bornOctober 13, 1913 in Gay, Meriwether County, Georgia, to the late Jay Hinton Rowe and Bessie Bowers Rowe.
Mrs. Stinson was also preceded in death by her husband, Isaac N. Stinson, in November, 1976, and a brother, Jay Hinton Rowe, Jr., in October, 1988.
Mrs. Stinson worked as a Director with the Wayne P. Sewell Production Company, headquartered in Newnan, Georgia, for several years in the 1930’s.
She traveled throughout the Southeast with this company as a Director, producing stage shows for local audiences using hometown talent.
She co-directed many of these shows with Ophelia Colley Cannon, who later became famous as Minnie Pearl.
Mrs. Stinson’s artistic talents were evidenced in many other ways throughout her lifetime.
She was associated with Rich’s Department Store in Atlanta for several years.
Mrs. Stinson was well known and appreciated for her paintings in watercolors and in oils.
It was a special joy of hers to make gifts of her paintings to family and friends.
For a number of years, she was a member of the performing singing group, the MacIntosh Trail Choir in Peachtree City, as well as a member in the choir at the First United Methodist Church in Fayetteville.
Mrs. Stinson, along with her late husband, bred and raised Staffordshire Terrier show dogs.
They owned and operated the Crusader Kennels in Fayetteville, Georgia, from which they sold Staffordshire Terriers all over the world.
The off-spring of the dogs from their kennel won many honors and champions in dog shows internationally.
Mrs. Stinson is survived by sisters Gladys Rowe Todd and Eulyse Rowe Townsend of Rome, Georgia; sister Allene Rowe Gause of Jacksonville, North Carolina; brother Joseph M. Rowe of High Point, North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3:00 P.M. in the Chapel at Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville, Georgia with Rev Roy Goolsby officiating. iIntermentwill follow at Camp Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 3:00 on Sunday prior to the service.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the First United Methodist Church, Fayetteville; Countryside Hospice, 104 E. Patton Ave, Lafayette, Ga. 30728, or Fayette County Humane Society.
Edith Higgins
Edith Bernice Higgins, 86 of Fayetteville passed away March 12, 2008.
Mrs. Higgins was preceded in death by her husband Wayne Higgins. She was a member of United Airlines Retiree Association, and a member of The First Christian Church of Tyrone.
Survived by Daughter and Son Deborah Higgins and Carlton Wayne Higgins both of Fayetteville and also nieces & nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, March 17, 2008 at Carl J. Mowell & Son Fayetteville Chapel with Rev. Billy Rowe officiating, the interment will be at Camp Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Saturday 2-4 PM at the funeral home.
Ruby Jones
Mrs. Ruby Jones, 83, of Fayetteville, diedMarch 12, 2008.
She is survived by her husband Claude R. Jones of Fayetteville; sons Fred Jones of Peachtree City and Phil and Jenny Jones of Newnan; daughter Rhonda and Stephen Baggett of Fayetteville; and grandchildren Ashley and Bryan Taylor, Ansley Gorn, Amanda Jones, Kyle Baggett, and Jamie Gaggett.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 15, 2008 at 11:00 AM at McDonough Road Baptist Church, Fayetteville with Dr. David Chancey officiating. Burial will follow at College Park Cemetery.
The family will recieve friends Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
