LaRue Griffin Huggins, 68, of Houston Street, Barnesville, died Wednesday, May 22, 2002, at her residence.
An Atlanta native, Mrs. Huggins had moved to Barnesville in May 1999 after living in Merritt Island, Fla., for 11 years.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Charles F. Huggins of Barnesville; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Charles and Laura Huggins of Barnesville and James Jackson Huggins of Cape Canaveral, Fla.; a brother, W.H. Griffin of Dallas; sister, Jean Farrill of Tyrone; nine grandchildren, Tine, Anita, Jay, Rick, Rusty, Renee, Noah, Christian and Daniel; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services were held Saturday, May 25, at Haisten-Martin Funeral Home.
Dr. Benny Tate officiated.
Burial was in Fairview Memorial Gardens in Stockbridge.
Pearl Bethune Littleton
Lillie Pearl Bethune Littleton, 66, of Barnesville died Wednesday, May 22, 2002, at Upson Regional Medical Center in Thomaston.
A lifelong resident of Lamar County, Mrs. Littleton was the daughter of the late Walter and Maggie Ross Bethune.
She was a cosmetologist and beautician and a member of First Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include her husband, Eugene Littleton of Barnesville; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Linda and Robert Jones, Susan and Felton Lewis and Denise Chute, all of Barnesville, and Rita and Kenneth Caldwell of Zebulon; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Jerry Littleton of Meansville and Donnel and Robin Littleton of Barnesville; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Gaynelle Murray and Elsie and Raymond Campbell, all of Barnesville; seven grandsons, five granddaughters, three great-granddaughters and five great-grandsons.
Services were held Friday, May 24, at First Church of the Nazarene.
Dr. Harold Latham and Rev. Mary J. Willoughby officiated.
Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery.
White Columns Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
